just registered for next semester and got almost all my classes that i picked out. the one i didn't get was because i apparently maxed out my number of credit hours i can take in a semester. i never knew that we could only take 18 hours per semester

wow, apparently i'm just ******ed! i have to take 8 hours of 300/400 level courses for one area and i knew that last night when picking my classes. i was looking back over my schedule just now and realized i was obviously not paying any attention last night and picked out a 200 level course that i didn't need. so i just went back to the registration website and dropped that class and picked up the one i couldn't get before. it actually makes my tuesday/thursday schedule a little bit nicer (aka i get to take a nap in between classes!)

I know how you feel about the heat. I live in an apartment and the laundry room is below me and the boiler room is next to my bedroom. Never had to use the heat once in the year and a half we've been here. Too bad heat is included in the rent. They should give me a discount. :D

ya they should! my room is on the second floor and it's right above the resident director's office, so there's really no reason for the heat. the only reason it's in here is because these rooms suck! there's no air movement at all! when you walk into the hallway and the bathrooms, it's nice and cool. but you start sweating as soon as you go back into a room

On Saturday morning I got up early. I put on my long johns. I dressed quietly. I got my lunch made, grabbed the dog and went to the garage to hook up the boat to the truck and down the driveway I went.
Coming out of the garage rain is pouring down; it is like a torrential downpour. There is snow mixed in with the rain, and the wind is blowing 50 mph.
Minutes later, I returned to the garage. I came back into the house and turned the TV to the weather channel. I find it's going to be bad weather all day long, so I put the boat
back in the garage, quietly undressed and slipped back into bed.
There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different
anticipation, and whispered, "The weather out there is terrible." To which she
sleepily replies, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out fishing in that?" :D

some teams give their stars 6-8 jerseys a year, Mario does, and Rich Nash gets a new one every few games, just so the team can make money selling them, but the 22 teams in the MeiGray program wear one white and one dark for preseason, and 3 sets during the year. I can show you the spreadsheet that tells you the period of time that each team wore the jerseys.. :D

With a little smile to the driver, she again reached behind to unzip a little more and again was unable to take the step.
About this time, a large Texan who was standing behind her picked her up easily by the waist and placed her gently on the step of the bus.
She went ballistic and turned to the would-be Samaritan and yelled,
"How dare you touch my body! I don't even know who you are!"
The Texan smiled and drawled, "Well, ma'am, normally I would agree with you, but
after you unzipped my zipper three times, I kinda figured we was friends."

it's a little ironic that you bring this up. yesterday, i went golfing out in this little town about 20 miles from lincoln. there's a 2lane road that you have to drive through to get there, and there's only a few no passing spots. well, this cadillac in front of me was going really slow, but there was another car behind them that wasn't in any mood to pass the caddy. so i passed the first car and got behind the caddy. i waited to pass the caddy because i could see a car up ahead.

well, we get to this turning part and i decide to pass the caddy. i could see that there were no cars up ahead so i thought it'd be fine. but when i started to pass the caddy, and big ol pickup came roaring down the road. i had to slam on the gas to pass the caddy before the pickup got to me. luckily, i made it just fine and no one got hurt

i think my computer hates me. i turned it on this morning and after i logged in and it went to the normal desktop screen, the monitor went dark but the everything was still running. when the monitor came back, everything was huge! i don't know what happened and i have no clue how to fix this. i can barely read entire posts because now i have to scroll across to finish sentences
