looks like i don't have a summer job now. i emailed my resume to the manager at the driving range where i worked last summer. i didn't hear back so i emailed him again today to make sure he got it. he responded and said he had nothing for me, but he'd keep my resume on file. i think that means he doesn;t think i;d be good for the job, even though i worked there last summer and the owner thinks i'm a great worker.

i could always tell my dad and have him talk to the owner and have him tell the manager to give me a job, but that just seems like a huge hassle

modern jerseys like this (actually, modern is considered from 1990 up) don't have the value that older jerseys do, collectors think they're over produced.. The history on this jersey will keep the price a bit higher, but it shouldn't go more than $800 I would think.. I'd be surprised

no idea.. there are 6 of them out there.. 1st 2nd and 3rd set, the 3rd would have been used up til the SJ series, a brand new one for games 3 and 4 for Tampa which was sold on the Meigray website ($2500 I believe, one guy told me he passed on it) and another brand new one for game 6, that went to the team, almost certainly straight to Marty, he collects them. Add in the one game wonder for Shirt Off Their Backs, and there's 6 red Gelinas jerseys I haven't been able to find anywhere :(

i'm still not sure if i wanna put things on the batman helmet to make it seem like he's got the ears like the actual batman helmet. they look kinda hokey right now when i place them there, and i'm concerned about if i can keep them on

i've thought about that. there's no harm in trying, and it'd be easy to cover back up. i do plan on putting the logo on each side of the helmet, too, so i'd have to be careful about where the line was placed

i tried to get my job back at the driving range, but the new manager didn't have anything open for me. i'm still gonna try to get a job there, but if that doesn't work i'll either work for my dad or work for some friend of my bro in-law

my dad is in real estate, so that job would be crunching numbers and filing. the other thing is refurbushing apartments, which includes tearing out walls, painting, and general construction stuff

tomorrow i'm going down to the pepsi center for a few hours decked out in avs gear and with a sign that says "where's stanley?" on one side and "honk if you want hockey" on the other

And the geli jersey I'm after won't finish it's bidding until the 30th or 31st, so I'm waiting for what feels like forever. Another white jersey went on sale for 33% off, but before I could figure out how to pay for it, it was sold :(

crap crap crap crap! i got up early this morning so that i could be down at the pepsi center when the store opens (free parking during store hours) and it looks like it's gonna be raining today. i'm still gonna go down there for a little while. if it starts to rain, then i'm outta there

man, i really wihs the weather was better today. i don't wanna go out there and run teh risk of getting rained on. i can give it a little more time to clear up cause the store is open until 5 which means i'd have time this afternoon
