Just picked up a Gelinas locker nameplate, it's the plate they take on the road for away games and so I'm pretty sure this will match the jersey that's up for auction right now :D

not really.. the guy deals with the Flames a lot, he got a bulk deal on about 20 years worth of nameplates.. I already have a Chris Lindberg nameplate, someone who played parts of 2 seasons with the Flames in the early 90's (he's one of two players ever in the NHL born in the same town as me)

obvioulsy i wasn't too clear before. they are selling NO avalanche items until hockey starts again! the pepsi center basically cut themselves off from the avs when the lockout started and really turned it up when they took all the avs' banners down until recently for the nba playoffs

yeah, i already know a lot about it too. thanks internet! and these tickets cost around $200 because it's a children's charity event being held around the us. we went to the same type of thing for the last one, but this sounds like it'll be more involved and there will be a ton of pre-show stuff happening. i'm hoping that this time they put the movie on the big screen instead of one of the regular ones

oh, and we also have tickets for opening day! my mom went and bought tix for the whole family and then found out about the charity screening the very next day! it's just me and my brother going tomorrow, though

I'm gonna put them in a spreadsheet and put some prices on, and see what McToys 10% cut would come to, vs ebaying them .. listing here might save listing and final value fees, and Mike's 10% but like I said before, the shipping is a hassle.. Mike takes care of the shipping and the selling..

well, height is deceiving when there's no one in the pictures to compare to. if i was with someone in my family in a pic, i'd look tall. if i was with my bro in-law or someone from his family, i'd look short. and i think that i wear clothes that help hide my weight a little. i also believe that i don't have as much fat on me as i once thought. i think a lot of my weight gain in high school was from muscle, but i still kept fat on me because i was eating bad stuff

after last summer's debacle, i just can't sit at the computer for hours posting in here. i just got back from lunch with my dad. we saw some people we knew because they belong to a club we used to. their daughter's are super hot, but they're both a little bit young. one of them went to school with my brother. plus, i believe they're too hot for me

My Oilers and Flames jersey is now autographed, and I had a stick of his from last year to sign but nobody had a silver pen to use, so he gave me his email address and said we'll hook up sometime. I almost laughed out loud, I remember giving fake phone numbers to people too :D I'll have to craft up a good email some day.. respectful, honest, without making it sound like I have 100's of things to sign.. hahaha..

I have his Bauer XX from last year, but he was wearing CCM gloves today and had that TPS stick, so maybe he's not using Bauer anymore.. I thought he'd be moving up to the XXX stick

LOL, when it comes to playoff time, I use cheap sticks too.

Because of all the hacking and cross checking, those heavy cheap sticks are pretty good. :)

that was when i mowed part of a lawn. i'm talking about the stuff i had to get up early for. a snowplow knocked down a street sign made of brick last winter, and since it was neighborhood clean-up day the board decided to put the sign back up. and since my dad is on the neighborhood board, so i had to work today. i got put onto sign detail after i got done spraying weeds along one side of the street and fences. the brick section wasn't too bad, but i had to use my entire body to keep it stable on a jack for almost 30 minutes before we put it back up on the foundation. then we tried to move the top, but that was a bad idea because it was solid concrete. we had to use the jack to get it higher up, but it was still a ***** to lift onto the top of the bricks
