why do you stay away from auctions with reserves. Its just to protect the seller from selling it if it doesn't reach a certain price... even if the reserve isn't met, he can offer to the highest bidder for the end price

i have a feeling that if rockies shortstop clint barmes keeps batting the way he is, he'll be in one of next year's mlb lineups. he's the leader in batting avg for the entire league. i know a lot of people will say it's because he's playing in colorado, but the kid's only a rookie and he's on a 12 game hit streak right now. i see him being a huge weapon for the rockies down the line

Like I said then, I've been a big fan of yours since you scored 30 and 35 in Vancouver, I even put #23 on my new style Vancouver jersey when they first came out, and was pretty sad when you got traded that year. When you signed here in Calgary, woo! :-)

Anyways, I could gush about being a big fan all night, or talk about how awesome you and the team were last year, but I'm sure you hear it all the time, so I'll save it. I want to say thanks for the email address, although it brought to mind when I used to get fake phone numbers from girls, I wonder if it's your real email address. customs are fun to make, but the initial stages suck! i hate priming so much. and when you first get the paint on, it doesn;t look good. once you get to the later stages of paint where it stats coming together, then it's awesome. decal application can be tough, but you learn tricks as you go along. and then there's the final coating stage, which is about as bad as priming

Just saw on the news that a charter bus bringing home 43 people from Ft. McMurray was hit by a semi while it was stopped on the highway due to an accident ahead of the bus. Four people were killed and 20 were sent to hospital. These buses are chartered by Syncrude and Suncor to transport workers to and from the job sites to their homes in Edmonton, Calgary and other drop-off points. I have been on these buses last year when I was working north of Ft. McMurray. I am going back there next week. I just hope that the people that were killed and injured weren't guys that I worked with. Rest in Peace.

well, i now have a job. i start monday. it's with a construction company, but i'll start out mowing lawns and pulling weeds. then i'll probably do some painting and my boss said they'll be teaching me some stuff like measuring trim and stuff. if i get put permanently on the trim and paint, then my hourly wage will go up

i'd hate to find out there was some bank error with one of my accounts and money was missing. i'd absolutely go nuts! now if there was money mysteriously put in, i'd be torn. on the one hand, maybe they won't ever notice that they put it in there. on the other hand, the bank could realize it and ask me why i didn't ever say anything. i'd probably report it once i found out, but they might catch it first
