That's what I was going to use.. I'm looking to get 4 Geli's done.. Edmonton, Vancouver, Carolina and Calgary, Datsyuk would be the Calgary, I think.. I just pulled a Leclair, Smyth and a Francis chase for the others..

I wish I had a loose or reg Francis, or knew where to get one for $5 or less... I hate to open the chase that I have, just to repaint it.. Same with Datsyuk, I have the red chase, but no white reg.. it'd be easy to get, but only at TRU where it's still $14 :(

I was also thinking of useing a Modano or a Bure/Robitaille .. Need to find a figure that uses a Bauer Vapor XX stick tho.. Linden and Robitaille use the skates

Also, a Gretzky 1 reg with a head swap would work, and I was even thinking of getting a loose Messier from the 2pack to make the old school Edmonton, they had the same helmet his first 2 years

i've done similar research for possible customs. i went through tmps entire nhl line and got the height, weight, shooting/glove (for goalies) hand, and then took the same stuff for possible customs and compared. found a few that matched, but some have been put off thanks to nhl10's delay

i think they'll have to do white, or no chase at all which i would actually be ok with. the reason i'd be ok with no chase is because i think the figure with the net and base is going to be gigantic! i bet it's going to take up a lot of space, so there might not be room for 2 in my collection. and if there is a chase it'll be white because i can't see tmp doing 2 dark jerseys for the same figure. and it's not like baseball where the chase figure can have different pants (ie todd helton)

I had a long night on the Fire Department last night! We had 17 calls in 14 hours. It did not slow down until after 2:30AM.
One of the calls was my girlfriend best friend tried to kill herself. She tried to OD on Perscription Anti-Depresents...(go figure!)
I want to tell my girlfriend, but I feel it's not my place to. Also Leagly I can't due to privacy laws.
But my girlfriend will be BS if she finds out that I didn't tell her.

well, at least your starting customs. and hockey probably isn;t the easiest to cover up all the stuff with because of the gloves and skates and stick, which i'm sure aren;t the same for the players you're using and gelinas

that'd be really tough, cause then what would you do with the extra bodies. plus, not all heads are going to fit onto every body, so you might have to cut the neck off and sculpt your own

i didn't mean the peg, i meant the whole neck! if it's too wide to fit into the collar, then you'd have to either cut it off and sculpt a new one of shave it down just enough so that it doesn;t look bad

speaking of sculpting, i had this idea pop into my head last night while i was brushing my teeth after reading a tsn article about ol footer. since i doubt foote's ever gettin an sp, i figured i'd finally make a custom. but since no one has the right nose, i thought i'd write him and ask if i could get some detail shots of his nose and then i'd sculpt it myself. of course, i'd explain it to him and then make one for him

oh yeah, helmets come off. but you have to microwave them in hot water so that the glue loosens. i;ve had trouble with this before. sometimes the glue is solid, and other times it just pops off. don't go more than 30 seconds or the helmet might get disfigured

good to know about the helmets. There's Bauer, which can be a Nike in some cases, the CCM and the old Cooper from his early Edmonton days, which I'm getting with the Messier figure :)

i think that helmet matching up is the worst part of making customs. sometimes a figure is just perfect, but the helmet is completely wrong and you either scrap the idea or find another helmet that actually fits

got my sticks from TMP yesterday.. two kariya (one to replace the lost team canada Kariya :(), two Sundin (Gelinas is using that kind of stick now), and for some reason, they sent me a couple Jason Smith sticks too.. It's cool, I also have 3 Linden sticks I asked for when I first got my Lindens. I noticed that, just like Sundin 1, the sticks were left handed when those two players are right handed.. I got replacement Sundin sticks before, but the Linden sticks they sent were left handed as well. :rolleyes:

I bought white and black paint today, but since I wasn't exactly sure on the red and yellow to use, I decided to wait til tomorrow, when I could bring a jersey in and match it exactly. geli, just ask uk what the colors are for the jersey. i don't think it'll be very easy to bring in a jersey and match up little paint bottles. i haven;t really found a clear coat that i like yet. i have this one that's ok on the bodies, but makes the gloves and goalie pads sticky

That evening while thinking how amazing this new technology was, Jack began wondering
if the computer could be fooled. He mixed some tap water, a stool sample from his dog,

This phased the African slightly, but he was a proud man of a warrior
people, and to show fear would be unthinkable. Both men took their guns,

Both chambers were empty, and both ambassadors breathed a sigh of relief.

The African ambassador was impressed with the couragous game, and thought
hard about the subject before the Russian Ambassador was due to visit his
country the next year.

When the visit came, the African ambassador treated the Russian with all
hospitality, until the final day of his stay. Leading him to a private room
in the palace, the African ambassador spoke, "Now, time for you to sample
our game, African roulette". He then led the Russian into the room, the only
occupants of which were six stunning and naked women.

The African ambassador said, "These women are the most beautiful members of
