well, what a christmas this has been

the day started off just as i expected, with one surprise from my bro in-law (i thought the calendar he made was gonna be an avalanche thing from the way he was talking)

then of course the usual post-gift opening boredom set in and i basically just went around the house doing things here and there until it was time to get ready for dinner

then dinner came and that was nice. we had an unusual number of people over this year, so the different set up didn;t make me feel too comfortable (two tables in 2 different rooms and a buffet style for the food)

then around 7:05 i checked the broncos score online. when i announced it was 17-3, all the bronco slash football fans ran into the family room to watch the game

of course, the game ended with a 37-16 victory for the ol broncos and the final wild card position for the time being

then a little bit of time passed and that's when all hell broke

my cousin had been drinking since 10am, and he was pretty far gone by 9:30pm. apparently, he started to talk about his most recent girlfriend, who had been off-again-on-again for a few years and they had recently broken up so that she could go to italy for 6 months and study something. well, my mom never liked the girl and never really held back on that when she wasn;t around. my cousin started bringing that up and my mom got furious cause he was blaming her for them breaking up

then my mom actually told him that he was too drunk and needed to go home. after about 15 minutes, we were able to get someone to drive him home. i had to drive up to his house so that i could bring my brother in-law back because he drove my cousin's car.

so now, my mom is extremely mad and my cousin is still drunk. and things have just really gone downhill for everybody here since 9:30

the only bad thing for me since then was that i got a headache from being cold (long story, don;t have that much time now)

so with all of that, i'm going to head upstairs. i have to get up for church in the morning, but that shouldn't be so bad.

Just got home from the Casino. There were actually a lot of people there on Christmas night. I ended up winning 50 playing black jack but my buddies lost 120 and 60 each.

Overall, it was a good Christmas. Good food, good presents, family and friends. What a great day. I love Christmas. Only 364 shopping days until next year.
