damn... that was a great game. the place just erupted when Stuart drove the puck past Gerber to tie it with just over 2 minutes left. Tim Thomas helped steal a point away from Carolina taking it to a shootout. Just too bad the B's came up short. Coach Sullivan is an idiot for letting Glen Murray shoot 2nd in the shootout.

Had a small scare at work today. The superintendant informed us that the client wanted us to work an extra seven days on top of our regular 10 day shift. That way we would have most holidays off and they wouldn't have to pay overtime. It's not just the money, but we would be driving on holiday Mondays mostly, with all the yahoos trying to get back home. Anyway, the super and the inspector decided to say "screw you" to the client and keep to the regular shift. Tragedy averted.

Sorry if I was obtuse in the last post, but I would rather work on a holiday... extra money and no traffic hassles trying to get back up here. The shift starts on Tues. and runs 10 days to Thurs. of the next week. We travel home Thurs. and travel back the following Mon. Where I am now is about a 7-7 1/2 drive one way.
