good news for me. the studying does seem to be going quickly. got the first (and longest) chapter done in about 30 minutes, so the rest should be easy. although, there wasn;t a whole lot in there that i didn;t already have so that's really why it went so fast. the book is pretty easy to read, though, so that helps

No need to fake them. Facing the wind, bare skin takes about 30 seconds to start freezing. Two minutes or less and you're into frostbite. Needless to say, everybody is trying to find inside (out of the wind) work.

wow, i was really glad i didn't go to bed at 12 last night. at about 12:30, the university decided to send their small snow plow to take care of the snow of the parking lot right outside my window! the damn thing was so loud, and then i looked this morning and you couldn't tell a plow was ever there because it didn't look like any snow had been moved
