I'm glad My Chemical Romance are getting big. I got into them a few years ago when I heard the song "Vampires will never hurt you" on their first album. I ordered the album from Eyeball records and I really liked it. Lo and behold, they got signed to the majors and are poised to take over the goth-punk-emo crown. They have paid dues...the lead singer was a huge alchoholic and used to puke and pass out on stage. He's clean now, though.

Espin - the draft is going to be automatic... so somehow it picks an order of who picks first - and then it goes and tries to get everyone their number one ranked players first, and then cycle through like that... so if your number one is gone first - then you get your number two i think... and then the rest of it is filled up with players based on the yahoo rankings... that's my understanding anyway.

either way, those that are in the know will draft a better team - and hopefully some of our favorite players are good :).

i've never done a baseball one before... only a hockey.

the only thing is setting your roster once a week - you can normally do a few weeks in advance - but then you just have to pay attention if your guy got hurt...

Well, finally back from NYC and Atlantic City.
Won $300 in Hold'em (was $400 after my first go at it, but decided to come back and throw down $100 after bunch of gin/sev's and shots...my advice is never do that!)
Walked across AC, found most monopoly streets, couldn't find baltic and mediterreanean (although how nice could they have been, really?)

Also we'd split them fairly, either by seed or random drawing...I don't think you guys would like it if my four teams were Illinois, the Heels, Boston college, and the wildcats of Kentucky. Miller is really easy, before each game he comes out and stands and just looks out at the rink, got him like that last year. Really nice guy

If it ever was available, I missed it. It's been out for quite some time though. I think TRU burned themselves again:rolleyes: with the Urban Legends box set. They brought in both the Urban Legends and X-men Legends boxes. Both sold out real quick and then they restocked with waaaaaaaay too many of the Urban Legends set. Naturally, in TRU circles this means nothing else will ever sell, so they never brought in either the Sinister Six Spiderman box set or the FF box set.

It's a cool set and there was a chase piece with a clear Invisible woman packed in. US Walmarts already cleared them and they're pretty scarce down south, except at TRU/Amazon who hasn't cleared them yet. It's neat enough, but I already have two versions of the Thing (trench coat and regular) a Human Torch I picked up for $7 CAD. I don't need another Thing, wouldn't mind the Mr. Fantastic and the Sue, but H.E.R.B.I.E and Franklin suck:D I'm waiting to see whether the movie figures show here. I've seen some pics and the Sue figure looks fine (hello Jessica Alba) but I'd prefer the Marvel Legends Mr. Fantastic. I'm sure I could pick one of those up cheap on ebay.

I'm doin' fine, busy at work, lots of travelling this month. Enjoying the peace and quiet financially before spring rolls in with more Marvel Legends, NBA Legends, NHL Legends, NHL11 and some figures based on some small, insignificant movie.

collateral was great. on so many levels.. i love movies that are one days story - and how it drags over night... and all through town... and there aren't any big chase scenes or explosions (well. not really anyway). half the movie is the scenery and the driving around. it's messed up that LA is like that.. Winnipeg is so uneventful at night.

...not that i'm ungrateful that we don't have an abundance of contract killers dropping bodies on cabs...
