WTFL update: our Bondiddy Bengals took a beating in our first game losing 34-0. We gave up 28 in the first half in large part to our refusing to punt, but played tight D and only gave up one touchdown in the secon half.
That first half was brutal...we played like a bunch of Erick Dampier's out there! j/k!:p

i settled for walking by again after it looked like they were all straightened out (and *did* have to go back to my car). just to make 'em feel a bit more embarassed about it, one asked me if i liked what i saw as they were walking into the field, i didn't have the heart to tell 'em i didn't see anything :)

oh - and i'm not sure if anyone elses g/f is gonna drag them to monster in law, but it actually wasn't too bad. the theatre was like a 90% girl population. the only males were with girls. strong indications of a chick flick :rolleyes: but it should buy me at least 4 months of her not being able to say "we don't ever watch movies i want to see" (gee, that's cause they're mostly terrible) :D .

I do have to say that Classics Billiards on Portage has some of the best pizza. I'm not a big fan of Papa Georges or Gondola for that matter even though they seem to be hyped to the stars by some people.

and i enjoy Pizza Place, except the large pizza is cut in squares, so you always end up eating more then you can handle.

everyone is a bit different. as long as it's not greasy, or too much sauce - i don't worry too much.

The game was outstanding. That Ottawa goalie was amazing, 62 saves? The last high stick call stunk, looked like the guy got sniped. But other then that best game I have seen in a while, proves why no other hockey compares to CHL hockey

Because of the show, they will cover the ice and probably have it covered for the day until early Wednesday morning. Usually they do that a few days before a game and have the ice ready to go a couple days before the game. But in this case they will probably have it ready just in time for morning skates and not be able to take care of it.... just my opinion on why the show shouldn't be on Tuesday. Maybe the weekend or something would have been smarter

Those are nice, but they aren't game used. If they were game used you would see the wear to them. They are just pro sticks, I use the same Raycroft pretty much... Now if they were game used, I would go after them

Thanks for the offer, Dave, but I think the regular nets are slightly different from the Cheevers net. His net had a little bar between the front and back crossbars. That little bar is what broke when I was taking the net apart. That's why it's such a bugger for me to try and track one down.

Yeah, I've gotta be careful. It's such a pain because they're unusually fragile, and that makes them tricky to pack and ship to someone else.
