For starters he'll go into stores and bother the staff around the release times and ask for entire cases. He'll buy the entire case as he suggests. He plucks the good figures then returns the stuff he doesn't want. Latest instance was Superstore on St. Anne's, he walked out with two cases of Legends 2 baseball. Nothing in the store for about a week, then lo and behold the dreg figures reappear.

Honestly, I don't know what the guy does for a living, probably not much. Frankly he's welcome to what he gets given his life must be pretty crappy to do this sort of routine. Check out his sold list sometime on ebay. He's not that bright either, having sold a Anthony variant from the last NBA series for $9.99 US. I don't think any stores sell it for under $15+ after taxes, so the guy's taking a loss. His shipping is reasonable though;) Still, ya gotta think, $10 USD = $12 CAD or thereabouts so what's the point, he'd have been better off taking it back to the store. Sure he's made money on the other stuff he sells but his feedback is good so why take a loss just for feedback? Like I said, not that bright.

I guess the worst thing is he's one of those guys that goes and asks all the time for new product from stores. Geez, the guy's even selling Darth Tater:rolleyes: on the 'bay. But the asking is why the toy managers hate you, me and everyone else that's ever asked a question, cuz relentless buffoons like this guy harass them.

I just buy whatever figs I want off eBay. I just bought a Khabby Jets presell for $ 17.90 US (that's including shipping). It's a bit more than retail but it saves me the headache of going to Walmart at 8am.

Is Ernie ( bgnew ) an older guy ? I may have talked to him one early morning at Walmart. I was there for diapers and other baby related stuff and decided to check out the figs for the hell of it. NHLlegends 2 was there but this old dude had the whole thing ripped apart and was picking every Fuhr and variant. And he was talking with an employee the whole time, which just pissed me off.

I asked him if he was trading with guys on the net and he said no he trades all his figs with other guys from work.

I left him there but saw him at the checkout and he had 2 McFarlane boxes full of figs.

True, colds and flus are caused by virii, and virii need a host organism on which to live and reproduce. That being said, I was under the impression that a flu/cold virus can be scattered around an organism's environment through our natural everyday 'expulsions,' thereby prolonging the suffering.

Let's use Shakes as an example. :D :p

Shakes sneezes, and the virus is spread through the tiny droplets that come out of his nose (ugh). They get on his monitor because he was scanning the spawn boards. Shakes coughs, but he's polite and covers his mouth. Any tiny droplets that come out of his mouth go to his hands, which then proceed to his keyboard as he types in "I'm still sick" on the Winnipeggers thread. Shakes then leaves his house and meets up with espin for a trade. Maybe he coughs on his hand again and shakes espin's hand, not realizing that he's giving espin his virus. Furthermore, espin tells Shakes a joke and Shakes laughs, spewing out more of the virus.

There are two lessons in this.

I'll be looking to unload things like my white Kovalchuk, NHL2 Hasek, chase Thibault and chase Giguere for these two chase figs. I can't have another travesty like not finding a blue Fuhr.

Actually I was really drunk once and tried to do a Benoit diving headbutt to a big piece of Styrofoam on my patio, needless to say I spilled my beer and almost bit my lip off. My head was ringing for days and I bled all over my bathroom!
