just so you know bestbuy and futureshop have their sales online already - i was on at 1205am and picked up NHL 2005 for $29, beats waiting in line. most of the really big savings were gone by 2am tho...

finally got my arena seat in and it's looking pretty cool. highlights include my Muhammad Ali "soul of a butterfly" book (...it's like his life philosophies or something...), a polar bear painting on one of those funky rock kind've deals, and Risk ! :) my parents had problems deciding what to get me, so i have various "gift certificates" that read "exchange for ______ money" towards weights, or a fleece, or other stuff lol. kinda sucked not to have actual stuff to open, but that's ok.

anyway - hope everyone has a good christmas dinner and stuff. lets not forget - puck drops at 338 for the Canada game!

have lotr ee, for the first two movies for sale (cuz i'm pissed off i didn't get #3). these are really nice box sets. i know that one set (i believe fellowship...)has never been used, and the other has been played once.

i typically watch my divx/xvid's rather than playing an original dvd (or music cd for that matter) because i don't like scratch's/fingerprints/and crap on my beautiful discs. i only get retail of ones i really want (usually gifts from other people tho...)

also have malcolm in the middle season 1 for sale - has been used, but in v.good shape imo

So buy the 3rd movie. I only bought them for the commentaries and the appendicies. That's more what I watch than the actual movie itself. THere really wasn't that much added into the movie, but the parts that did made the story flow a bit better IMO. The ending was still a bit long for my liking though

lmao just picked up collectors edition of lotr rotk ext ed from amazon.com. sweet, on sale and free shipping (to georgia) . so first two sets not for sale - unless i get the collectors editions mint :confused:

also got heritage 2 pack , and mayyyyy have an extra. much will depend on condition when it arrives :rolleyes: . other highlights include nhl2005 for 30 (usd tho). simpson helloween bendies (cool - too bad some of the other sets - ie. 'krusty show', 'power plant' were sold out tho )

F word. I've been having some awesome computer problems lately. It all started with the kind gesture of my buddy and his wife buying me that mp3 player for X-Mas. That inturn made me find out I needed drivers for my USB ports, which made me play around and play around and FINALLY be able to install Service Pack 2, which made nothing work on my computer, which made me format and then get like 200+ viruses and spyware crap cause I had forgot to turn my modem off. Luckily, I think, I got rid of the crap and not I just need to reinstall all my programs. I'm scared to try install SP2 again but we'll see how I'm feeling later tonight.

also picked up an easton cyclone graphite stick/blade combo for 70 :)(reg 150). don't like the 'lidstrom' blade, but have a thornton i'll swap it for.

the lidstrom blade may be available. brand new right handed graphite. reg price on these is 50, but l'll let it go for half that. pm if anyone in town is interested

well, came home last night to find another christmas present on my bed, this one from my grandma - mysteriously looking like an SP. looks like she decided to buy me a Kings Gretz. and it's a flawless paint job! not overly excited about the figure, but it's nice to have a good looking one.

on a more pressing note - it seems like NHL 10 is on hold, whereas Legends 2 isn't... kinda bummed about that, i was really looking forward to Nash, Thornton, and Aebby (i *could* live without the rest.. but still wanted a few more).

Oh yeah, tongue in cheek for sure, I wouldn't wish that crap on my worst enemy. One hour and forty five minutes back from Carman today:eek: Good day not to be in Winkler, Espin. Most of the road was snow covered, about 3 inches deep. Traction was horrid. South perimeter by the bridge was strictly one lane, like driving through a cabbage field. Most people were sane, except for a couple of yahoos in four by fours, go figure. Just plain nutty, 40-80 KMH max, visibility was maybe 100 metres.

I hear you. To get home, I had to go to Canadian Tire and buy some better wipers; my old ones kept getting snow buildup. Then I passed through my back alley a few times and got stuck each time trying to get into my garage. Then I had to shovel my portion of the alley and dig a pathway to my garage......twice!

To boot, everything is probably going to freeze up this way for the next few months.
