my buddy bought 2 team canada , fully customized 'Lemiuex' jerseys, white and black third, from an ebay seller in canada - think he paid about 270 or so for both (in cdn). could probably look up the seller if your interested. also bought a sens 3rd for my lil brother in may, also from canada, not sure of those details atm....

all of these jerseys were semi-pro (waiting on canada post with my nhl.com haul.....)

espin - fees aren't too bad. i think i was supposed to pay $15 or so on my Sakic jersey. so depending on how good the price is, just add a little bit extra and you should do okay compared to what you'll pay in store.

a curious thought - most people would walk to the end of the mall to save $3 on a cd - why not put some effort into saving 20-30 :) (or a hundred or so when comparing TVs)

the team was roped off from everyone else and gretzky was there with them too (if i understood correctly). gretzky was also at the game with sutter.

her dad refused to allow her to harass them while they ate dinner :) fair enough i guess. but i figure those young punks need to pay their dues that comes with national status and future million dollar contracts. eating is still sacred though.

oh - and if anyone noticed a large contingent of red jersied canadians in the upperdeck yelling wonderful things like "bel-a-rus bel-a-rus" and "go canada go" and taunting montoya... i'm friends with a few of them - and we were actually supposed to go with them :)

my g/f said that the only time the americans would chant go usa - was when the group of like 30 rowdies would start chanting go canada go. lol they were quite the poop disturbers and even landed their own personal security guard that sat with them for the whole game.

What an experience at the Centre tonight. Crowd was definitely more into the Canada game than the Moose, but wow did Manitoba pull out a nail-biter tonite

Ya, Canada was definitly a bigger importance tonight than the moose. But boy, did they pull it off in the last 6 minutes. And Brookbank destroyed the other guy at the end of the first. He skated by us on the way to the dressing room and he looked worse than Rocky Balboa.

two quick notes - sioux shop had "buy one get one free" sale, bought a retro CCCP jersey and Slovakia (blue) jersey, and a puck for $86 USD total.

also - saw Bourque in his lux suite, got him to sign my hockey canada flag... except he signed the wrong side of it (it says canada on the bottom) and now it's kinda a waste lol. oh well. easy come easy go.

Shakes- I was a few rows back from the Penalty box, I was sitting with the players familly's. Smyth was right at center ice in the top row of the bottom section of the low bowl 1 section over from us.

Turco - we ordered them from ticketmaster... i think it was like $50 US or something... i'm not sure, whatever the actual price of it was, is what we paid.

my gf's dad was pissed off - he ordered two packages, and he couldn't get rid of any of the 'lesser' games (ie. russia vs suisse) and on gameday you could just show up and buy a ticket for $5... so it was a big kick in the pants to all those that committed to buying packages - only to have the seats go on a fire sale....

i like: oilers, flames, canucks, sens, and canadians... loved watching the tampa team take off this year, i'd been waiting for awhile for them to heat up.

i think i'll like columbus, but never get to see them play. oh and atlanta is getting better. but again, don't get their games up here.

i hate: toronto and nyr. (and others)

most east coast teams bother the hell out of me - and interest me very little. florida, new jersey, carolina, (i'm inclined to want to add detroit to the "east" part)...

i think heavily european flavored teams bother me the most... canadiens and sens aside. as do most *bought* teams (evident in my disdain for the avs who i've adorn since roy was traded and i started following hockey)

west coast hockey is the most fun to watch for me.

i would cheer for the hurricanes to win the cup before i cheered for toronto.
