Senk - um, when you get a tracking number, apparently you can call UPS and tell them you want to broker the goods yourself (some port of entry deal).. they'll call the port of entry (canada customs) and arrange the paper work... you'll go down and get the paper work from UPS (dublin & King Edward) and then take it down to Wellington by liquidation world - where the canada customs office is, and depending on whether or not there are any spaniards trying to import their car, you may, or may not, wait half an hour or so, then you'll go back to UPS to the pick up the parcel. it's like a 5 minute drive (if that).

but i had to pay more then $8... i had to pay $30 all together because of duties, and that was a miscommuniation... but i *did* save $18 of the whole thing. so, i guess that's not so bad.

lemme know if you need more info. i'd recommend calling UPS tho, they could tell you better.

Senk, when you get something from the US, get the shipper to email you the tracking number. 2 reasons, that you know that they in fact shipped it and you can track it online to Winnipeg.

Get the tracking number and go to UPS.com and see if the number comes up. When it does come up, it will say picked up or in transit. Once you see that, call UPS's 1-800 number and go to international shipping. The person on the other doesn't even say hi to you, they just say tracking number. Give it to them, and they will ask who your broker is. You will reply "I would like to clear it myself." Done.

You will get a phone call to pick up the paperwork. Doing it this way saves you a day in getting your item. If they put it out for delivery and you reject the parcel, it will take a day to process it. Hope this helps. I have saved hundreds of dollars in brokerage fees.

tennis is fun - my friend and i played in high school in gym, and we had trouble with the one bounce - so we decided to play with two bounces... and holy hannah... most intense game ever lol. it's sooo much harder to score a point when there's two bounces. but it's fun.

hey guys just got my computer back. i broke it on monday stupid me. anywho I need help please. well it was getting fixed I put a dvd burner in it. i'm trying to make a copy of a dvd but it says the dvd I'm usuing isn't big enough. is there a way I can cut the movie in half and put it on 2 discs?? or am I doing something wrong when i burn the dvd? I'm using alchol 120 to burn the dvd. If any one knows of a better program and has a "free" copy of one that would be great too. I'm thinking of modifying my xbox I just want to make sure I have the right program to burn the games properly.Any help would be great. thanks.

Most DVD's have a max of 4 hours if you increase the compression encoding. On low compression you get about 2 hours. If your video is shorter than that, I dunno what you'd be doin wrong. I use Nero myself. Works great. Takes about 2.5-3 hours to fill an entire DVD though. Of course that's encoding the entire video file and burning it. WHich I consider the best way to do burn DVD video. I just make it an over night job while I sleep.

Well, after a long hiatus, I'll chime in. I have mixed feelings about the NHL. I certainly miss Saturday evenings, but since I've usually got a ton of work to do at that time, it's probably good. Maybe it would be best if they started over. That's a shame too because I think my team has been the closest it has ever been for years to winning the cup. Great defensive core with offensive capabilities, fast forwards, one of the top offensive lines in the entire league. This could've been the year, but now we'll never know.

crashz - what was so bad with the paul london bump, missed the rumble but heard it was pretty bad.

Rumble was a pretty good PPV. I missed the first hour but the Rumble match itself was stellar as per usual. This is one of my favorite PPV's every year just for that match. Paul London got clotheslined by Snitsky or Kane I think when he was on the ring apron, did a flip as he fell to the ground. But he got hit right on the forehead and almost didn't make the full flip. Don't think he was really hurt those cause they kinda tossed him onto the stretcher. Vince hurting his knee was pretty funny though.

Tim - nice, no pressure - go out there and kill 'em. if you get a 90 in the class you'll buffer your average against a different class you're not as good in. and then if you do good in all of them - you end up with a sweet average.

so that's what Chris was talking about...the guy taking the bump pretty much has to be able to do a back flip for him to pull it off which I imagine limits the wrester's he can face (and presumably beat)...all in all that's nuts :eek:

Just playing NHL 2004 Dynasty mode. I need a good goalie. Cuz I've built up quite the potent scoring and checking lines. Defense isn't too shabby either but the goaltending situation is sucking ball sack. Nurminen isn't even the top goalie right now. and my starter isn't exactly stellar. I mean above average but barely swuaking past 80 in ratings. team payroll is like 98Million though! Grrrr, greedy little buggers.

Man NHL 2004 ruled! 205 just isn't the same for me. I was in my 5th season with Calgary before selling my PS2 to Stiller. I probly simmed half of that though and played the other half. MY teams was just stacked, traded away my draft picks for good players most of the time.

You liked 2003 the best? I didn't really like that one lots, it was alright though. Once I got 2004 though I loved it. I stil have to find it for Xbox, that's one I need to keep forever.

On a side note, Jakks is making one of those plug and play game for NHL 95 and Madden 95 in the same controller and it comes out in December. There is a thread on the boards someplace which has the link to the actual site.

Even so, Shouldn't be crashing like you say. WinXP is one tough SOB to crash. I just upgraded my Celeron 600 Laptop to XP. Sometime it gets slow as molasses but it still pulls through without a crash yet. My only recommendation at this poitn as it seems like a software issue, is to try formatting and installing a copy of XP separately from the restore CD's/partition from Toshiba and see how it runs. That is if you have a copy of it. Cuz if it runs fine that way, it's probably the factory image that is the cause of the crashes. Probably a corrupt datafile of some sort, though I've never seen anything of the sort listed as an issue from any forums. If you do a test like that, just make sure you have a way to revert to the factory setting. I know most manufacturers will not support any machine that has been tampered with even if it is a software OS clean install.

Average pack of cards 3.99 - 7.99 more premium stuff can be 10-100 dollars per pack or more. A box will run you 59.99 to 199.00 depending on what you want and how many packs. It depends on what type of collector you are. Set builder, memorabillia collector, auto collector, etc. I've bought a lot of boxes in the past year so I may be able to reccomend my favorites. Turco knows his stuff too.

If you only like a couple of players and want a player collection, stick with ebay...
