Found a Raiders Sapp at the Target in N. St. Paul. They had regs of the rest, except Moss.
Nice find.
I'm starting on some attempts at customs. One will be Andrew Brunette, and a Joe Sakic 04 All Star. Another that is done except decals is Wes Walz 3rd jersey. I have a Gophers one that is also close to being done.

What the hell are the Wolves doing losing to the Raptors? Come on, they need to get thier acts together.
I'm REALLY getting sick of Hudson.
Hudson is starting to remind me of Billups, he doesn't like to pass, he just takes bad shots.

Damn Maka, those are smooth. I wish they'd make more Wild figures. Wait, I don't even have a Gaborik yet. That reminds me I have to get one with the Chirtsmas money. Any NBA 3inch series 2 sightings?
Not yet on the 3"ers, they'll probably start showing up soon, I hope.
John- Where did you get some of your stuff? Like the draft day things, sticks etc.

12-28-2004, 02:40 AM
thanks matt. The draft plates were ebayed straight from Pacific/Beckett. Sticks from the lodge.
Dude. I don't have the pics up yet, but check out what I just got...Gabby's rookie year gloves. They really don't fit the direction in which my collection is going, but I couldn't pass them up (steal of a price).
Any of you guys going to any World Juniors games? That's what's taking up all of my extra time. I just had Patty O'Sullivan sign the boards piece from my loose Kovalchuk. Since he lost the mini-mullet, Sully is a dead ringer for the kovy (equipment, face, etc) Can't decide what jersey I'd want the custom done in. Maybe the red ice dogs'...

$225. Yeah, they're the green and red primitive-looking 855's. Nothing that really caught me at the junior store. Jerseys from every team, and T-shirts that looks like the jerseys, foam fingers and pucks, and that about does it.
Anybody got a Fedorov Wings? I need one to open.
Do they have any cool pucks? OGP? or just souvenier ones.
wonder_boy
12-28-2004, 01:21 PM
I haven't taken too close a look at them, but they are kinda cool looking from a distance. They're five bucks. My dad thinks he wants to buy a set. I already have what I consider to be more pucks (that'll never see ice) than I need. Didn't see gamers. The other night in Thief River, I got the only puck that I think I'll need, a beat up old practice puck.
I guess I'd only be interested in a OGP. LMK if they have any next time you go.

Went to the regular Target in Stillwater today & they had NFL10 & NHL Legends. No chases, but they hadn't had SPs since the summer. Maybe regular Targets are going to start getting SPs again!! I hope so!!
With THud's "quit picking on me" attitude, I really hope the Wolves ship him & Spree to NJ for Kidd. Don't get me wrong, I really like Spree, but the attitude of the team has got to be changed and fast!!
I noticed that another Target had Cooperstown figs, And they hadn't had a single SP for a long time.
As far as Spree goes, the players love his attitude, hoopshype.com has Hudson all pissed off right now. He needs to drop him rapping career and focus on playing ball.

Hey matt, yeah, they got gamers. #'ed to 1000 and it doesn't look like they're within a mile of selling out. Met Ray Bourque at the game and had him sign my team Canada cap. Yeah, the US lost to Belarus, so that's f-in cool. What a disgrace.
I can pick you up a puck if you aren't going to make it, they're like $6 or 7 I think...
Again, folks, I need input on the best jersey to use on an O'Sullivan custom. I can't decide.
That would be cool if you could pick one up, when are you coming down to the cities next?
Oh and I'd wait for him in a Wild jersey. other wise an Ice Dogs would look sweet too.

Hello all from MN...
Sorry to piggyback this thread with a trade offer, but I'm having no luck on the trade board.
Does anyone need a white Randy Moss 2? I'm from Michigan and I'm looking for a Red Datsyuk or a Wings Fedorov. PM me if anyone is interested.
Thanks, G

not me Guster. got my moss and also need the fedorov.
Matt-yeah, I can pick up an extra. Don't know when I'll be in town next.
God, with all these canucks down to see the games I'm really starting to like, and think I'd like to have, a Canadian jersey. Anyone know where I can get a cheap black size 48?
And on that note, all those Molsoned-Up Northerners sure got a nice surprise when it was announced during the first game today that the Mounties had closed the border and Highway 75 North to Winnipeg. I'm glad there aren't any games tomorrow. All those folks that didn't pack an overnite bag...and drank 35 beers...would smell like a pig barn.
Why'd the close the border?
John, are you going to Twins fest?
Hockey Giant in Bloomington might have some Canada Jerseys.

Todd - TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!
wonder_boy
01-01-2005, 11:37 PM
Q: "Why'd they close the border?"
A: Because the Canadian infrastructure is ******. They can't seem to get plow trucks and emergency services to respond to blizzard situations, so they just close the damn highway to Winnipeg. And with no road to open onto and no drivers, the border drivethrough checkpoint is kind of a foregone conclusion.
It's my personal opinion that the mount-me's know exactly who the hell is going to be on that road (drunk rowdy hockey fans), they didn't feel like having 2,500 cars in the ditch, and they decided to let the US be their personal detox site for the night.
I was just thinking about Twinfest. I've gone for the last three years. Don't know if I'll make it this time. Wonder if Puckett'll be there. I'd really like to have him sign an 8x10 of him rounding the bases, Game 6 1991. I just dug out my ticket stub from that game and bought a 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 square piece of the old dome turf. I'd like to matte them with the pic, signed, "...and we'll see you tomorrow night..."
I'm leaning toward just buying the teamstore Canada jersey now just cause they seem to be really hard to find, and it has the IIHF patch on it. Like to have it lettered for Crosby. That kid is out of his mind good. Have you guys been catching the ESPN/TSN telecasts? He and Bergeron must share the same brain.

In all honesty, It was the kind folks on 26th and Hennepin that had some interesting comments to put in the suggestion box. Besides, it was a first date....
I dunno about you PACKER types and how you work your CRAZY offense on and off the field.... but me, I just like to take it nice and slow.
I dont like the TWO Minute Drill.... I SAVOR my time on offense, I like to run the clock. :p

Yeah, I found three of them. LOVE how they merchandise their figures there....
Why dont they just put them in a bin and be done with it.
After playing School Guidence Councilor ala Clerks for 20 mins or so, I grabbed one. n
Thanks for the 411 MAKA. I dont know if Ive given you Rep before, but you've earned it bud.
I saw one with a small splotch in on the left hand shoulder on Theo. It wasnt that bad, but I dont know how Quality Control could let it fly by. Then again, if I had to see Red Jerseys for 8 hours at a time, I think I'd just develop Red/Green Color Blindness, which would make watching the Minnesota Wild *provided they ever play again* VERY interesting. :D
Reminds me of my buddy Brad, who is Blue Green Color Blind.... Sometime when we'd play 4 player Hockey on the PS, he's end up with the Blue or Green player, and just totally freak !!!! :) Seriously, it was like.... "Uh, Who am I and what am I doing here?"
Admiral Stockdale would have been proud. :D

A buddy of mine found a 3rd jersey Sakic2 & a Rangers Leetch at the Woodbury TRU this afternoon.
Looks like the Vikes & Packers will have Round 3 next Sunday aftermoon. I hope it is cold & snowy next week. Tice better send Haslett & the Saints a big gift basket for beating the Panthers. I can't wait to hear him put a positive spin on this one!! :D
Glad you were able to get a 2-Pack. The other day the just had a shopping cart full of SP's, the obviously need more peg space there.
I stopped by the Fargo TRU hoping to luck out on some figs, nothing but reg NBA 7 and Cooperstown. You should have seen the amount of MLB 4 Ichiros they had. The mall in fargo had a sports mem. store and they had a bunch of NFL and NBA chase SP's, some were marked down but were still a little high.
As far as Twins fest goes, I'd like to get a ball signed by Santana and Morneau. John- Cool idea on having Puckett sign the game six ticket, I should dig out mine too.

Yeah, Big Nick's. Buried in the basement of the West Acres Mall. Last time I was there everything was about triple Ebay price, with nothing in the way of hockey cards but some like 90-91 Score and some Jagr and Selanne rc's. What were you doing in Fargo?
I don't know if I'd want a sig on the ticket. I generally like to keep tickets in game shape. I mean the 8x10...plus, on the photo there would be room for the inscription of the famous radio call.
I'd really like to have the Theodore from the 2pak, but I guess I'll have to get the Smith too. Don't suppose anyone's just in it for the oil and would want to split one?
Some rube in the Engelstad pro shop asked me today why one canada jersey is $200 and another just like it is $75. I told him, "because this one's hanging on the wall, and this one's on the rack; They sell better off the wall...they're just trying to trick you."
I bought mine off the wall (those are the ones with the "white velcro dealie") and it's getting sent to Buffalo, NY tomorrow with a few others to get lettered.
My customs (Modano and Gabby) are going to be done this week. I'm pretty jacked about that. I'll post pics in my webshots page probably like a week and a half from today. If those two turn out as well as I think they will, I think I'll get a Roli made from a Khabibulin.
Think I'm going to get rid of some figs: Lemieux 1 reg and var, Kovalchuk reg and var, and Thornton reg and var. Those were always just kind of hanging on, and now that I can't see them play, "the thrill is gone", like they say.

Dang.... Ive been looking for a Rangers Leetch and a Blues Hull.
*ugh*
Right now all Ive got is an extra variant Delhommes, which makes me mad because I traded for one when it first came out, then it shows up in my case. *ugh*
As for the Packers and Vikes.... I LOVE the Vikes, but man, they backed into the Playoffs. Hell, Im talking gravity is a harsh mistress is and pulled them into the next round sort of lucky. Its going to be hard to cheer them on to be quite honest, especially the way Buffalo and Carolina were playing down the stretch, and they got denied. That last minute possession by the Cats had all the makings of another Saints Curse in action.... Im just sorry it didnt work out. Like the Bills, they were fun to watch down the stretch.
As for the Vikings, Tice and any positive spin.... I love Ted Cotrell, but I dont know how Tice is as a motivator/coach. I just aint paying enough attention, so I dont know if I should rate him on his faltering record down the stretch, year in and year out. Im afraid if they 86'ed him though, the Vikes would end up with Mike Martz, and NO GOOD would come from that. Oh let me tell you that was the FIRST thing I thought of when the Vikes lost.... is who's head is going to roll, and who's going to come in and replace him. I'd bet dollars to donuts Martz is gone once The Rams are bounced, and well.... I cant think of anyone else the Vikes would go out and get sadly if Tice is done.
As for the game in GB.... I would love to see the Vikes win, but I just dont see it happening. The Eagles limped to the finish line, and the Falcons still make me wonder a bit.... Farve and company has about the best shot in the NFC. He's nucking futs, and Green/Henderson can still run the ball. I know I dont want to see them if Im a Def. Coordinator. Lets see, Boogie Man Farve comes to my town, inspired by all his recent personal tragedy and looking to ride off into the sunset. I see another potential Elway ending here. They got nothing to loose, and Atlanta.... I love them, but until they show me otherwise....I still dont believe they cant stop the run.
I love Brooking and his corps, but I still aint sure. Further, with every hit Vick was taking against the Seahawks, I was holding my breath. The one wence, and it was last years Pre Season all over again. He still doesnt know that WCO, and no matter how good an athlete he is.... if the Falcons Offense cant eat clock, The Packers look better and better in the NFC. Philly looked like a doomed team. Sadly, I dont see them even getting to the NFC title game after watching them play today. They looked hopeless, which sucks for McNabb.
Just my two cents.... worth what you paid for it.
But if the Packers get in, I'll never hear the end of it.... right Duane? :D
John- I was up in Fargo visiting some relatives. Did you paint your customs? I am still working on some, but have been a little too busy lately.
What do you want for your Kovalchuk figs?

Pez,
I agree with you mostly. However, I don't see Red firing Tice. He's too cheap. Tice makes less than most 3rd string towel boys in the league. As long as Red is trying to sell the team, he's going to keep costs low. Red will probably look at this and say, 'howdy doody, I got me a reeeeeeaI cheap coach and my team is in the playoffs... YEEEHAAWWWW".
I honestly don't think we'll see a coaching change until the team is sold. Hopefully, it will be sold to someone like Glen Taylor in MN so the team stays here and we have an owner that might actually be dedicated to putting a quality product on the field. (and not just walk around yelling out 'purple pride, purple pride')
Linehan and Cotrell both have to go as well. I've heard some talk that people are interested in Linehan for a head coaching position??? Mr. Run it up the Middle on 3rd and 18 Linehan??? They can have him. Cotrell has actually made the defense worse. I didn't think it was possible, but here we are with a professional team on which a good High School team could score at will.
I can't stand the Packers, but they're going to DESTROY the Vikings on Sunday.

D.... if the Packers win the Super Bowl again, I think I'll be getting a call from the Lake Elmo Police, infoming me that I have to come bail my drunken buddy Duane outta jail.... Something tells me Amy would deny knowing you, especially if you were partaking in the wearing of the Royal Cheddar Wear. *Who knew they made a crown of foam cheese* Lucky for you, I know the bail proceedures inside and out.... and the last time I checked, Packers fandom was admissible as an insanity plea. :p I know this because I cheer on the Cubs, Bills, Vikings, and Falcons, plus I actually enjoy grits. Go figure....
What's a Masochist anyways? :D
As for Moss.... Anyone who knows me KNOWS Im not a fair weathered fan, but the Vikes.... especially Moss.... well, only the Eagles have played with less fire in the belly than the Vikings, and that includes the 49ers.
I think he's still limping, and hammys dont heal well, especially running on turf one week, grass the next. *I know from experience* Its like stretching a rubber band half way one second, then half the way the next.... rince, lather repeat. It never quite gets right because your thigh doesnt know what surface your pounding on.... *thinking that made sense* Thats just the best way to describe it. I had to start running on turf in college, and I was NEVER the same player once I got injured, because your body is constantly yo-yo-ing thru the different surfaces, no matter how many old tires they cut up and claim its just like dirt. *Plus the Eden Prarie facillity is turf too, they dont have a grass practice field for when they're playing in REAL stadiums*
I think he should have sat at half time, especially with the Panthers score the way it was *Yeah, they came back.... but it was ugly early on* You were up against the Skins 2nd overall D, and you werent going to get healthy playing against them.... You should have worried about getting healthy and playing the next game. While I do appreciate he was trying to shake the whole *I mail in a play from time to time*, he hasnt been healthy in a while, and you WILL need your big guns against the dread lock crew in Green Bay, especially if its cold. *That Hammy will be tight, better double up on the Utillity shorts*
The more I watch and read about Tice, the more I like him as a person, but dont like him as a coach. It appears he's a player's coach.... which is great, but when you need to dig down deep and get your players to check their ego at the door *ala Billy B in New E* you cant get it done.... its always Poker Night with the boys.
Its hard to balance being friend and coach. I had to do it when I was a Junior in High School, and my baseball coach got cancer. I can ONLY imagine what its like with money on the line, not to mention all the other traps of the professional life.... Its one thing for Tice to be an understanding friend, but he also has to right the ship.... and I dont know if he can do that. It just appears to me that he's too bi-polar when it comes to friendship and management, but this is me armchairing it from the sidelines.
And Duane.... it was something you ate. GRITS !!!!! The official non-alcoholic corn substitute of Brett Farve !!!! Yeeee HAW !!!! :D

I found another Rags Leetch this morning at TRU, but it was definatly an opener. The bubble was pretty bad on the side. I was curious on what the other chase was, probably a Blues Hull, the 10 others were regs.
Cool Joe, I'll send it when I get it.
Why the hell aren't the Gophers on tonight? Damn that pisses me off. Radio will have to work.

MAKA - Which TRU?? You should discuss getting rid of the Leetch to Todd (Pez), as he is an opener anyhow. Just a thought!! :D
I left that Leetch there, I figured I didn't need another one since I decided to get rid of the one I already had. I usually leave most chase figures I see. I'm sure the "Scalpers" get them before the real collectors get them.
It is possible for you guys to give me a heads up on figs you are interested in, and if I see them I could pick them up for you. Just a thought, now of course I can't pick you guys up a full set, but maybe one or two figs.

Hi all in Minnesota!
Sorry this may be a little off the current subject, but anyway...
I'm down here in Omaha, Nebraska and was thinking about coming up for the Twins fanfest. I've never been, but thought I may make a weekend out of it. I'm not too much of a Twins fan, but more of a big autograph collector. I noticed some old timers and some HOFers are gonna be there. Do you guys know the details? Do the autos cost or does your admission cover all the autos you can get?
The Iowa Cubs are having their fest this weekend and it runs $8 to get in and $30 an auto for the HOFers. Puckett, Brock, Winfield and Molitor are gonna be there. I'm only able to attend on Friday so I'll be able to get Puckett and Brock.
Just curious if the Twins is set up similar.
Thanks
Twins Fest (http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/min/fan_forum/twinsfest.jsp)
I went a couple years ago and got some autos. It's a good time. If I remember right, it's like $5-10 a table. or was that Wild fan fair? I don't know, it was cheap.
Wild v. Nucks game 7 is on FSN right now. Bertuzzi just scored giving the nucks a 2-0 lead. I can't wait for the comeback, that was so fricken awesome!.

Uh.... and yeah.... dont buy it for the Game Cube. Duane. *hint hint*

Oddly enough, I finally found a Retro figure at retail! I realize a lot of people are pretty down on Hockey right now... but, I found a retro Brett Hull at the Target that's just north of downtown Minneapolis off of 35W and New Brighton Blvd.
I picked it up to give to my brother. He's a Hull fan, so he'll really like it. The odd thing is that there were only a total of like 5 sportspicks there and this happened to be one of them. Apparently, their McFarlane & Hot Wheels morning scalper didn't notice this one.
I'm glad to see my Target is carrying sportspicks again...

Todd - Do you need the Cap?? If not, I most likely will just return it. As far as the NHL - BIG DEAL!! The Wolves should play some games at the X, so my drive would be shorter!!!

I know that, but it would be nice!! I just forgot to add the :D to the end!! Considering the amount of CA$H that Taylor has poured into the Target Center, there would be NO WAY he would even consider playing an exhibition game there, much less a regular season game.
Yeah, it would be nice, shorter drive (for me), free parking (on streets it's safe to leave an unattended vehichle), Nicer arena, Streets are easier to find your way out of downtown.

Below is just one of numerous stories coming out of Philly. (and not just from this game) Obviously this is a problem there, or they wouldn't have the only stadium with a court and a JAIL in it. Why don't we hear more about the assault and battery going on in the stands of a football GAME?
...and Randy Moss is the one grabbing national headlines with a fake mooning. The media has it's priorities, I guess.
From the Startribune...
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper's wife, Kim, apparently was the target of vociferous and profane heckling Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field. Eventually, Eagles security official intervened to protect her.
Monday, the quarterback was visibly angry about the situation and said: "They are lucky I wasn't up there."
"Fans everywhere have to realize that the fight should be on the field," he added. "Nobody should have to go through the stuff my wife did from the fans Sunday. ... Yelling at players is one thing. When you start throwing beer, spitting on people ... that's how people get hurt.

If Ive said it once, Ive said it a zillion times.... Philly is the WORST place to play if your an opposing team player, a home team member who's doing poorly, or Santa Claus.
Again, if MLB warns you that Philly fans are the most militant, and they did when I was in the minors heading my way up many moons ago, then you KNOW that Philly is the WORST place to be.... I mean, these guys just admitted the dangers of steriods, so to admit to its own players that Philly is a war zone almost a decade ago, you KNOW it has to the American Equivelant of the Gaza Strip.
And why was she there? Why wasnt she in a luxury box? Most of the "franchise" player's wives sit in the owners box, or another luxury box of some other well to do citizen ?
From what I understand, The Link has a jail on site.... not a small 6 to 10 man holding cell like most stadiums, but a full on jailsite. I could be wrong, but either the Linc or the new Baseball stadium has one.... or maybe they both do.
Gotta love the City of Brotherly Love....

I agree with the Spree comment and from reading the paper, so does Taylor. I think Taylor feels that unless they are going to get a REALLY good deal for Spree, he will hold on to him. I would still like to get a younger PG who isn't so shot happy like THud. What about Troy Bell?? Isn't he playing in Spain or something right now?? Given the Wolves soft spot for local players (Jacobsen, Winter, Thomas, Rickert, etc.), it wouldn't surprise me to see them bring him in.

I don't think the latest woes are Spree's fault, except Toronto when he seemed to be disinterested and only took 4 shots. Hudson took that many last night in a span of a minute it seemed. They are really missing Sam's 4th quarter control & his ability to hit the midrange jumpshot.
They need to do whatever possible to get Sam's hamstring healthy.

Johan has to be made, I don't see how they could ignore him. Then again, out of all the series I've been the least impressed with the choices for the MLB series.
Pez Pirate
01-21-2005, 05:44 PM
Yeah, I'd be willing to bet money Mr. Santana WILL be in MLB 13. I dont know what those guys are thinking when they pick people.... :D
I mean, I understand they have to pick players that will sell in a variety of markets, plus you have to meet the various retail chains demands for players.... Hence why you very seldomly see a glove man make the series, but a guy who can hit 50 hrs with a fld. pct of .930 already has TWO figures....
I'm surprised they have three series this year. But I'd willing to bet you'll see LOTS of variants in all three series.... Maybe even an Ortiz in a Twins Uniform, as he was a media darling for awhile, plus Manny in an Indians Uniform, which why they havent put one yet is beyond me. Im sure the guys in licensing and what not have had PLENTY of time to research the figure and get Manny's signature.
I wouldnt be surprised to see a Pedro in either a retro Dodgers uniform, or a new Mets Uniform come series 13. Same with Jason Kendall, or Randy Johnson.... Im guessing they would use the second mold, what with the pin stripes and all from his days with the D-Backs. I'd also expect a Ritchie Sexson somewhere in there, only because if you remember correctly, there were TWO different uniforms put out last year in Brewers attire, and only one saw the light of day. *See Lee's Collectables from last year for confirmation* So I'm sure you'll see another Sexon pop up in a Mariners Uniform.... or maybe they started to retool the figure, and will end up putting out a D-Backs uniform too. Maybe even a rookie Sosa in a Texas Uniform? Only a handful of people know for sure....
If I were a betting man though, I would bet you will see a LOT more variants/chase pieces in the MLB series this year. I dont know if y'all noticed it, but most of the MLB figures arent warming the pegs. One or Two from 10, Maybe one or two from 9, and one or two from 8. They''ve sold a lot better this year, because I'd be willing to bet the production went down and/or orders went down, but then again.... what do I know?
As for this years choices, Im pretty impressed so far.... but I LOVE MLB. Obviously another A-Rod does NOTHING for me, but I understand why they had to do one.... The Piazza is VERY cool !!!!
The Griffey has me scratching my head, but before he hurt himself *again* last year, he was putting up solid numbers, so I can understand why they chose to do another one. The only one that REALLY has me scratching my head is another Nomar. I can imagine it will sell well in a few areas, obviously because he's a Cub.... but they have it listed as NG#2. Its actually NG#3, #4 if you count the 2-pack version.
Eric Gagne #2 makes sense, because he's a great pitcher, and the first one sold well at the retail level.... I mean, you never really saw him warming the pegs for any length of time.
My only question so far.... From the NFL.... LT #3 ?!?!?!?!?
Why ?!?!??!?!?

I agree giving away Sam would be crazy. That's why I suggested packaging he & Kandi together to get a younger PG and/or picks that can be used. Sam seems to have gotten a whole lot OLDER in the past 6 months. I agree that he is still a clutch shot in the 4th quarter, but those shots could also be hit by Wally or Freddie!!

If there was any merit to the Spree and a couple of bodies for Baron Davis rumor we should have jumped all over that deal (think that was a month or so ago). While it might have been risky it sure has a whole lot more upside than 9/10ths of our roster right now.
I still say we should hold Spree simply for the cap room we'll get next year (as i cant see getting enough in return that would turn our season around) and focus on dealing off one of our 'PG' (i say PG loosely as both Thud and Cassel seem to have no clue on how to run an offense) and Khandi for anything....and seriously i would take just about anything for any of those three and just call it a year and retool this offseason.
Sorry to be so long winded. Not like me ....
TWolves have hands down been the most disappointing team in the NBA this year....
Wow the Wolves are terrible latley.
Where are the 3" NBA and NHL figs?
I thought I'd never say this, but I think G. Taylor needs to fire Flip. I heard Phil Jackson might be available.
~~puffypurplefan~~
02-02-2005, 09:14 PM
I really think at this point of the year a coaching change wont fix whats wrong with us (although Flip should take more heat then he does). I dont think anyone, even Phil Jackson (who wouldnt be worth the money we'd have to pay him) could motivate Spree, Hudson, Cassel, and Khandi.....
If they are going to make a deal/trade i think now would be the time, 'cause really can things get worse?
Look at Denver, they made a coaching change that I think will work, maybe they won't get into the playoffs, but they might if the Wolves keep on struggling.
G. Taylor is willing to overpay for the football team, why not overpay for a coach.

02-02-2005, 09:29 PM

I went to the Gopher game today thanks to my aunt for getting me tickets for my birthday. It was my first college b-ball game. It was really fun, and the crowd was really hype. Oh yeah...the cheerleaders = hotness, haha.

Hey MAKA, who do you need 3" NBA wise.... Ive got some Target Singles here.... I was going to use them for trade bait. Ive got like Iverson, Pierce, and Wallace v1.
I'll let you have them for a song.... no chorus even if you need them Just LMK

Anyone see any of the NBA 3" Series2 around?? I am still looking for a couple of the 3" KGs!!
I just have to believe that the rest of the NBA knows how desperate the Wolves are to make a trade and are trying to get the farm, which McHale won't do (hopefully). Hey, maybe they'll miss the playoffs & get the first pick in the draft?!?! :D (just kidding - kind of)

I was only looking for the KG 3" as well, As for the NHL 3"-2 there are a few I would like. I saw some at swindlers for 7$, I'll wait for those to hit all stores.
What is the draft looking like for players? Maybe they need to play the game. I still won't give up on them completely- although it is tempting.
The Wolves won a game! Maybe they can win two in a row, or is that pushing our luck?

I come on here and always see you guys talking (or crying) about the Wolves. I really feel sorry for you guys, this must be a really disappointing season so far. Good thing I'm not a Wolves fan! :p

It's in Block E, right across the skyway from Target Center, you know where the Wolves won tonight!! :D
Maybe McHale can get in touch with the Raptors and try to get Alston for Sam!!

Well, I just found out there was an EB Games in downtown. Downtown is so packed, is there free parking spaces close to it?
It's so crazy, there's actually a Target in Downtown?

Free parking in downtown Mpls?? Are you serious?!?!? I don't think so, but I don't get downtown much.
I have never gotten free parking in Minnepolis. If you do find a spot please share the location with me.
