Thanks a lot Matt. Appreciate it. But you should really check out the list of guys on the left side of that page. They don't bother to put up pics of all their stuff and they've still got me beat. They've all got tens of thousands in game jerseys. One guy just got one of Roloson's blue game jerseys from this year shipped to him from Finland. There are so many connections. One guy had a buddy in Houston at the Aeros game worn garage sale. He was sending him pics every thirty seconds on the camera phone, and picking up all the equipment and jerseys that caught his eye. Get the f*** outta here!
I'm not sure I own enough figs to even be on this board anymore. I've got like five MOMC figs now, about five resealed, and about 25 opened. Ebayed almost all and put the money on the side for customs.
Just can't stay away for long though.
Who is going to be the next Minnesota fig anyway? The only thing I've got on the radar is a Robert Lang for my dad's Wings shelf. Also still wondering what pose I might use for a Brent Burns custom. Yeah, he's got some old style Blue and White Aeros shirts, some helmets, a bunch of twigs, and some gloves, which he already traded. He moves pretty fast.

Josh Harding, by all accounts, is supposed to be a stud. I haven't even seen him play though. Dieter Kochan came up to the big club for a couple games and he looked terrible. Fredrich Cloutier is with Louisiana and no one really says much about him. Mike Smith is with the Aeros, and he looks pretty solid, but he's not ours. He belongs to Dallas along with Erskine.

Yeah, I remember when Manny's catcher and blocker were in the Lodge for $750 and $600, respectively, and some guy bought them both in one shot. They won't lower the price.

Have any of you guys been to Vertical Endeavors in St. Paul? It is an indoor rock climbing gym. I went there with friends tonight for the first time. We spent a few hours climbing the easier ones. It was a blast and not too expensive. They had gear to rent too. I don't think I'll be able to feel my arms tomorrow.

We've been on the waiting list since after the 2nd season. We havent found a set of season seats we like yet so we just wait. We get a chance to buy Single Game tickets before the general public and most of the people at the latter end of the waiting list. There is a limit of 2 tickets per game per spot on the waiting list. That also goes for playoff tickets.

If anyone is looking for the new baseball 12 figures the Toys R Us in Blaine has them. They actually have them to the far right when you walk in the door back in a clearance area. They have a few chase figures in there as well. They have a Mussina in the Orioles uniform, Beltran in White and I think they may have had a Gagne in the Grey uniform but it was in the back.

I'm doing Select a Seat at the Excel in the first few days of August. I figure that since the last time I did it was the summer of 02, there were probably at least a few that didn't renew for 03-04. And they've got a 90% renewal rate for this year. I figure that that means roughly 2000 more available seats than the last time I did SAS. Looking forward to that. My old man wants to be on the blueline so damned bad, when I like the corners. Hopefully there's a manageable compromise.
I'll tell you what though. If there are four in the first row of uppers, I'll be on em like they're the last hohos at fat camp.

Screw ebay...they'll be face plus $4. It costs me $2 per ticket to email them through Ticketmaster. That way I don't have to screw with Will Call. You just print them off and they're as good as the original, with a new valid barcode.
The barcode on the original ticket is in their computer, and it is invalidated, meaning if I try to use the original after I've sold the seats, they take me to a little room in the basement and put my head in a vise.
Seriously, it's the easiest and safest way in the world.

As far as getting autographs, the times I've gone to the Packers camp, getting autos have been pretty easy, except for the elite players (Favre, Butler, Green, etc.) who come over via bus. The rest ride the bikes from Lambeau across the street to the Hutson Center. As they get off the bike & walk to the field, they are all really great about signing autographs. I must have gotten about 20-25 autos last time I was there.

Also, as the morning practice is going on, there are Packers personnel randomly handing out tokens to get you into an autograph session at a table right on the practice field. There are usually about 6-8 players (usually the high profile players) that sign at that time. I haven't been lucky enough to get a token the couple of times I have gone. :(

Just wondering what you all thought of the Wild schedule? I'm curious to know how everybody's ticket hunting has gone. I would definitely be in the market to buy single game tickets for several games, mostly the two games when Columbus is in town, and the Dec.17th game when Montreal is here. Thanks guys.

A much as I like to see the Wild play the Canucks, they should have spaced it out a little better, 3 times in a month, then once in December then done. :cool:

October, January and March home games will be a lot of fun, the other months will not be as fun.

Also, no Pittsburg or Atlanta? lame. I was hoping to see them at least once.

I like Jones in CF and Ford in Right. Flat out, Jones is faster, and has more experience playing the Dome. Sure, He's been playing RF for the last 2 years or so, and Ford has been doing an excellent job as well.... but playing CF in the Dome.... you need all the experience you can have with that dang roof.

*thinking* I think Ford has a better arm though, but I could be wrong.... I really havent paid attention as of late. Wow. Im gonna have to get hit up Elias and get me some stats.

I hate to say give up now, but maybe its time to fold up for the season, bring up some youngin's, maybe make some low level-back burner trades and saddle up for the run next year. I dont ever think you should give up mind you.... Hell, Im proof of that.... but unless the Twins can somehow talk their way into moving into the NL West, it doesnt look good. Im still waiting for the Chi-Sox typical yearly swoon into oblivion, but so far.... it hasnt happened. Even though it looks like they've lost Franky TE for the year, there are three things Ive come to rely on:

The Twins wont trade for Soriano, or any other bat.... for better or worse. They're gonna keep their talent. I cant say as I blame them. Sooner or later, theyre hopefully going get a new stadium and they'll need talent to fill it, or they'll have to leave for Vegas sadly. :(

I know I'll draw heat for this.... but the Twins deserve new digs more than than Vikes for many reasons. Flat out, they bring in more money. More games equal more money, not to mention all the revenue collected in 1987 and 1991 from Twins/World Series product sales, both local and everywhere else. *I dont have the numbers in front of me, but I gave a speech on this subject like 5 years ago. Grandma made me do it for my class, and she had MORE than enough information.:) *She recites this stuff like recipes.

Lets not also forget that their winning of Two World Series helped attract the NFL to have a Super Bowl here in 1993. *Seriously, what can I say.... Minneapolis can throw a party and contain the mess MOST of the time.... Dinkytown riots aside. :p*
Besides, the Metrodome is more suited for Football anyways.... not that I wouldnt like to see both teams get new digs. Personally, while I think its kinda neat living so close to the Dome, I hate looking off my roof and seeing the HHH roof from my house. He seems to be offense oriented.... ROY in his league. If he lives up to his potential, why not. I dont follow minor league hockey all that much, but he's a 6 footer with speed and it seems he dishes it out *assists/scores* as well as scores, so yeah.... Why not?

Looks skinny though from the stats I read. Gotta feed that boy some Brats or something. :D
Im sure once he gets called up to the show, and gets his meal per diem.... he'll bulk up a little like all Rooks and he'll be fine.

BP put on 30 pounds in the last year, from 150. He's 6'3" and he'll fill in soon enough. The Wild will leave him in the OHL for another year before sending him to Houston.
He's good in the corners and in front of the net, shields the puck well, has a huge reach, good vision, great speed, superb hands. Basically, a big fast guy with world class skills who also has the ability to play like a power forward should the need arise.
No mean streak...100 pim, mostly attributed to frustration (growing pains).
Has drawn many comparisons to Vinny Lecavalier. Let's just hope he doesn't take ten years to become a star like Vinny did.

First place I went was to 204 to take a look. If I'd have seen some in the first row, I'd have been on them like my high school girlfriend on a chocolate-covered porkchop.

The zoo is cool. The Como Zoo in St. Paul is cool and it's free!! There is the Science Museum in St. Paul, along the with Children's Museum, if you have kids. There is Block E in downtown Mpls.

If youre into artsy sort of things, You can hit the Walker Art Museum *I think its opened again finally* in Uptown, about 25 mins. from you. Check and see if the Paddleboats run on Weekdays in St.Paul, and you can go down the Mississippi River up to the Ford Dam and Locks *very cool* Its the Jonathan Paddleford. My cousin had his wedding on one, and it was VERY cool.... plus no one killed anyone. A plus. :D

*thinking* There are also some trolley tours of Downtown Minneapolis near my place, over the River and will show you some other REALLY cool Dam/Locks.

And the White Sox are in Town on Tuesday til Thursday. Will be a tough ticket, but you should be able to grab some still. I dont think the Thursday Tickets are sold out yet. Just call the Ticket Office if youre interested.

Lots of great places to eat around here if youre interested.... Im sure Duane can give you directions *he's good at that* and I can hook you up if you tell me what you like.

hey i live about 10 min away from (hold your tounge and say) apple (let go of tounge) valley. just to let you know there is a EB Games if you head south on ceder ave. in a little strip mall on the right. if you pass wal greens you went to far. they might have some sp's or any of the gamestops or eb games in the burnsville mall also the tru sucks so don't waste your time but if you want the sps are behind the Star wars wall when you walk in by the clotheshehe yeah, I asked and that's where we are! actually their house is in Rosemount, but I guess the only shopping nearby is Apple Valley .. it's a nice little area :)

Now for the FYI: Ive heard there are TWO Prowls.... I know there are two of the BinalTech Variety. *dont ask, just think more expensive and metal*

One Prowl has Police Car Apps, the other one WITHOUT. *for entrapping the Stunticons into speeding tickets? :D*

Im a fan of G1, and I have the entire series on DVD. *coughsImageekscoughs* So yeah, Prowl is Police Car as far as Im concerned.

There is a Decipticon called "Decipticharge" or something like that. He's a Yellow Honda with a monkey funkey Paint app.

Swerve is a Red Corvette, and he's one to a case. Ive got one, and going to try and trade for the two rare ones:

Meister *Better known as JAZZ from the Series* They cant call him that anymore because there is a real car known as a Jazz. Goes for about 40 bucks on epay.

Tracks *Blue or Yellow, Blue is the more in demand* Still a Corvette. Same mold as Battle Ravage *Ravage* and Swerve. Books for about 45 to 50 bucks on the bay.

If you just feel like blowing 20 bucks, and want a GREAT buy, Toys R Us has a 2 Pack of Smokescreen and Windcharger. Now the Windcharger is cool, but the Smokescreen is one of the best Transformers theyve done. The Paint apps and advertisements are AMAZING. Its 20 bucks for something most of us dumped 40 plus on....

There is also a Wheeljack *Mustang GT* thats getting harder to find. Very cool.
They made Grimlock into a Mustang GT. I will NOT buy this, nor put it in my house. A friend of mine gave it to me, and I gave it to my brother *who owns a 1967 1/2 Mustang*

The Battle Ravage is getting harder to find, and I think was one to a case. Shockblast *aka Shockwave* was one to a case, and uses the same mold as Jazz/Meister. *sans the head* A VERY cool car. I ALMOST put a Decipticon in the house, thats how cool he looks. His eye has a light pipe, and the gun is purple/clear.

The next ones are Sunstreaker *Sideswipes Brother* and Broadcast *aka Blaster* He's like a Honda Element or something similar. Same goes for Skids, who for some reason was VERY Popular in Japan.... so they made an Alternator version of him.

Yeah, Ive been PADI certified since I was 12 *1985*, but Im going to my Doctor to see if he'll clear me to dive again. *Neck Surgery, 3 inch incision on the side, plus a tracheotomy proceedure.* I dont need to tell you about pressure over 15 feet deep.

Anyways, Im hoping I get cleared one of these days to dive again..... I know Im HALF the diver you are, and havent really dove since 1998, but Im pretty sure I'll pick it back up again. Maybe I'll bug you one day to recertify me or something. *not sure how entirely that works, but Im sure you do.*

Man, I wish I was going with you to help.... Right after Katrina hit, I called my Doc to see if he'd clear me again. I was going to call my buddies back home with the GBI to see if they had a crew going. Ive dove in some of the nastiest stuff *better known as the Ogeechee River and the Savannah River* I can ONLY Imagine youre going to have zero visibility in that crap, even with whatever halogens their pimping for underwater use now.

Its a very noble thing youre doing MAKA. I cant imagine what youre going to see over the next two weeks, but I cant think of a better gift or donation to help alievate the sorrow of this tragedy than to give of your time and your skill.

If you need ANYTHING toy wise while youre gone, Im sure someone here on the thread will give you hand. I know I will.

Do you have DSL or dial-up? I have a cable modem and just unhook it and take it to my room and hook everything up, kind of a pain but I spend enough on internet with cable, wireless router, etc. to spend another 60 on a wireless PS2 adapter.

Like I said, its kind of a pain but I have a bunch of extra ethernet cords and cable wires so I keep one extra of each in my room with the PS2 so all I have to bring upstairs to my room is my modem and power adapter. Not that big of hassle really, I think its worth it.

Hey Yall.... Other than Roster Updates, whats the skinny on 2006? Clicks, Whistles, etc?

I havent finished 2005.... and I have a TON of Madden to go. Is it worth the price of admission? Is it any different than 2006 ?

I never played 2005, I've heard that ultimatley there is not much different between 05 and 06. but I have 2004, It is way different. Updated uniforms, players look better and more like themselves. Cloutier is still a sieve. More realistic gameplay, (You can run your offensive plays better) Arenas look better. I've heard that ultimatley there is not much different between 05 and 06. I like the Skill Stick addition, it makes for some nasty goals,
I'm sure I'll find out more differences the more I play.

I usually buy new sports titles every other year.
I guess if I were you I'd either stick with 05, or rent/ borrow 06 to se if you like it better.
