Also, I mentioned a while ago that I would have some Wild games to sell. I can send a list of the games to anyone interested. I can't make like 20 games, so there's a lot there. They're 12 rows up in 115. $72.50 tickets, so 145 for the pair. I'll have them in-hand in a day or two.
Here's something that I've been wondering about that affects these seats: Goalies will keep the same net in the shootout as they had in OT, right? Has anyone heard?

Picked up another blue Aikman today, although the corner is a little dinged. Pulled it right from the case too!!

Sweet! I picked up NHL 2006 today however when I put it in I realized my only controller stopped working, so I won't really get to mess around with it until tomorrow.

Yes, Sanders is a very nice figure. The case I cracked yesterday had:

2 Francos (both with a "Pittsburgh" sticker on the insert :D)

I just spent the last couple hours messing around with NHL 2006. I liked the gameplay, it seems as if they tried to make the game like the way the games will be this year. It seemed more open, defense seemed harder to play than on 2005, maybe its just me. I used to dive and slide with my d on last years and I haven't figured out if you can on this years. Overall I like it a lot. My main gripe about it is in international play they don't have the countries real jerseys, they have generic ones with the teams flag on the front of the jersey. Anyone know a good reason why they'd do this? I can't believe they just got lazy. If anyone wants to play online let me know.

In case any of you care I FINALLY found NFL legends here in Roch. Gamestop said they weren't getting any in so I went back to TRU who told me they'd be in today. I got there and they had no LTs and no Unitas'. They did have 2 Harris, 2 Elway, 4 Sanders, 1 Aikman reg, 1 Aikman chase. I bought 2 Harris, 2 Elway, and 2 Sanders. I'm happy for now! Now if I can get some Wild tickets tomorrow I'll be very happy!!

I just sat in them for the first time at the Phoenix game and they're awesome. I'm calling everyone I know that might be interested about these cause obviously they need to go quick.

I agree, he should have been fired a long time ago. The way I look at it though is players on Minnesota have this feeling of losing from the last few years and the Red years, firing Tice now would send them a message that they mean business and want to win. It'll shake everyone up a bit. You could plug about any monkey in as coach and do about as well as Tice did, yes he knows the system but thats about it. I think it would do more good than bad at this point.

A press conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in Blaine, near the site where new owner Zygi Wilf plans to build the structure with a retractable roof, a Vikings team official said.

Wilf and the NFL plan to combine on a $250 million contribution, while Anoka County will provide $240 million through a county-wide sales tax.

The Vikings and Anoka County will ask the state for the nearly $200 million in infrastructure costs.

There is always Swindlers....err.... Shinders. Theyre everywhere. You'll pay a bit more, but sometimes you'll find some real gems. I found an opener Edge James for 11.00

The Maplewood and The Roseville ones seem to have the best selection of SPs in my opinion. The ones over in Bloomington and Edina *NEAT store* are pretty cool too/

The crowd was awesome. It was one of the loudest times I've heard it. The player announcements were pretty cool, everyone cheered loud for the guys we've had for a while, then when it got to the healthy scratches like Robitaille, Tjarnqvist and Nazarov it got quiet, the expressions on their faces were funny, It was like, I guess were not good enough for you, eh?

We sat in suite 40, under the horn, every time we scored you could feel the vibrations from it. The chairs in the suite were very nice. I can't wait for the 12th when the Canucks come to town.

There were a lot of them a month or so ago on ebay. Scott Sarkis, the manager at the lodge was selling his collection. All the Opener pucks, the holiday pucks, the playoff pucks, etc, hit their all time price low, as he was listing a ton of them in a short span of time. Jerome and all those other scalpers hated it because everyone filled their puck want list and didn't have to pay the monster prices. Ebay is definitely the place to look. One might pop up again soon and be at a resonable price, as they were so recently going for $10-15. If I see one, I'll let you know.
I have a question for you too, Matt. My Bouchard (Eddie20 custom) is pretty much finished (had to wait for the St. Louis for an Itech helmet small enough to fit on a Bure head), but it won't be here within the next 4-5 days. I'd really like to get the base signed by Butch at Wild Unplugged. I'm thinking about making a custom base just for the signing. I remember a while ago somebody posted a very simple way to get a better looking, more realistic custom base. I know he said "light flyby with light blue spray paint" but I can't rememeber anything else specifically. Wondered if there's anything that you do.

I'm thinking of getting a piece of 1/4 inch lucite as a wall-mount base cut to size for 4-5 figs. I'd still like to have a base signed though as I like to at least have the ability to repackage customs and have them look great, and a custom signed base would help.
Everytime I hear someone say they saw them I feel more lucky that I got them. I went between warmups and puck drop and couldn't believe that they could still be there. Easily the biggest retail price memorabilia score ever for me.
That is a bit strange, or you've just got a very good memory. I mention in the description of the mannequins that the last Lego in the castle is the Butch gloves. I fully expected one of my friends to grab them and scalp them on me. I've taken most of the money that didn't get spent on tickets the past year and blown it on stuff that looks better autographed. Butch isn't the biggest one in the list, but he's in there. I've got a Team Canada jersey of him, a Wild #46, and a Chicoutimi in the mail that could all use a Han****. Hey Hotwire, how was the club seats? The game went from decsent to fricken sweet in the 3rd. They played the 3rd Like I play NHL06.

Club seats were pretty cool. Turns out we had the 'rail' seats, which worked out a little better because we could kind of mill around. We weren't stuck in our seats the whole night. Game was awesome, we had a Sharks fan with us and taunted her unmercifully. They couldn't stop anything in the 3rd. Plus, the goal they got was actually off a Wild player - so, they never actually scored.

There was one shot, in the first period, that it looked like the puck went in and out of the net. The whole place stood up, but they didn't call it a goal. Did anyone see this on TV? Did it go in???

Headwaters was actually very good, however I would never spend that kind of money to eat at a buffet again. You're much better off just hitting the bar across the street for some appetizers. Plus the Beer Tub girl was OUTSTANDING. I could have spend the whole night at the bar and skipped the game!

As for my love of the Wild.... They are my 2nd favorite team. I will cheer for them EXCEPT for when theyre playing the Flames. I grew up in Georgia, so Ive always been a Flames fan. The first game I EVER saw was the Flames and the Stars here in Bloomington one Summer. My Grandparents took me.

The Minnesota/Atlanta Franchises have always been my favorites.They were in a tie until Green moved the NORTHStars South. What happened to the Flames in Atlanta.... Well, Why you would put a Hockey team in the South really has never made any sense to me, except near retirement communities. Ive always had an extra soft spot in my heart for the Flames though.... they named the team after the burning of a city. I just thought it was pretty funny. Seems it pissed off a lot of local historians though, they thought it was in bad taste.... so I think I liked them even more during the proposed boycott back in the early 80s, right before they relocated. :D

I STILL have TWO 1991 NorthStars Campbell Conference Champions T-Shirts in my closet I wear from time to time. *The good thing about essentially NOT changing sizes since I was 15 is that all my old T-shirts and jeans still fit. :) Ive put on all of 20 lbs since I finished High School, as Baseball was good to me in some ways....

I love the Wild.... I just feel like it was a consilation prize getting another team, like going on the Price Is Right, and only winning a years supply of Rice A Roni. Speaking of rice, the team colors make me hunger for Wild Rice, no pun intended. Now the Logo is as COOL as hell, but didnt they learn ANYTHING from the old Jersey Devil colors? And the name Wild ? Lets go Wild? In this state where Apathy is the Official State Emotion ?!?!?!

Further, and I know this isnt true of you MAKA, and most Minnesota fans on the board.... but if the fans here had fought harder, the STARS might have stayed as an organization.Im not completely sure on all of the business politics, as I wasnt here when it happened.... but Im sure there was more than just a busted stadium deal in play.

See, Minnesota fans are the WORST fans ever. They practically give homefield advantage to the opposing team. They leave 6 innings in during a PLAYOFF game. YOU CAN HEAR ME BOOING against the Yankees on TV!!!!

With the exception of the 87 and 91 World Series, the fans here for the most part.... theyre wishy washy. They get mad AFTER you take the team. Look at the interview in the paper or on television.... "Oh golly gee, I wont care if they take the team. Let them go."

I like Wild, Im just set in my ways a bit.... wish they were the NORTHSTARS, and Im still not sure on the lighthouse in the Xcel. Makes me think of the Islanders for some odd reason, which leads me back to that old Gordons Fisherman Logo they had for a couple of years *cringes* Yeah, lets never revisit that logo in a retro figure. :o

speaking of mn fans (gophers suck) actually MSU sucked. I do however have to say Kessel getting his first goal against one of my buddies (Chris Clark - Goalie) for MSU Mankato was good stuff. Now I can give him crap now. I honestly thought we had a shot after watching us play in the 1st and 2nd periods...
