The Gamestop in St. Paul checked their computer & it had NFL8 as hitting their warehouse on 7/22, meaning it should be in the stores sometime between 7/26 - 7/28. Just an FYI!! If anyone finds an Ahman Green variant, please keep me in mind. I know that none of you Vikings fans would want one anyhow!! ;)

Ya Santana definately deserves an sp. I was at the game and that was one of the best pitching performances i have ever seen. Since he became a starting pitcher only Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling have more strikeouts.

Anyone go to Vikings training camp? I heard that they practice on the second field so you have a whole field in front of where you watch from. I also heard because of this auto's were very hard to get since they were a football field away practicing. Anyone else have anything to add?

I liked it better last year when the Chiefs and Vikes scrimmaged in River Falls. It's closer and I was able to go down and see them play. It was a great time!

Now it looks like the two teams might not even scrimmage in training camp next year...the Chiefs aren't too happy with us... :p There was an article in the Trib about all the fighting...That crazy Brock Lesnar... :rolleyes:

The Timberwolves havent changed while all of last years western conference playoff teams either got worse or stayed the same so this year if we can stay healthy it should be a NBA Finals season or a bust. I think if we had either Cassell or Hudson in the series against the Lakers we wouldv'e won.

I don't think they will be too hard to find since they will be packed like the nolan ryans were or maybe even more. I have a 12" moss coming tomorrow and another coming sometime next week to add to my moss shrine. Anyone find anything good from nfl 8 or cooperstown? I haven't found anything but a white tim brown but besides that I havent been looking much.

Personally, I think the 12" Gretzkys will hang around for a while & like lj25 said, I would expect him to be packed like the Ryans were in the Cooperstown cases. I wouldn't be surprised to see solid cases of Gretzky's like you saw of LeBron James.

I agree. I would bet money we'll see whole cases of them like the James pieces. Everyone and their mom's gonna want a Gretzky. He transcends the sport.... Rush, Backbacon, Molson, Bob And Doug MacKinze.... and Gretzky(Hockey). They're the first thing you think of when you mention Canada. Even my Mom, Mrs who knows NOTHING about sports knows Gretzky. Its here answer to EVERY Trivial Pursuit Question on the matter of Hockey. :rolleyes:

Nope.... I want to get back into diving, but I had neck surgery in 96, and again in 98. *Long story, errant curve ball.... lots of hospital fun* Anyway, I have traecheomoty *sp* and a three inch incision on the side of my neck, plus the internal stuff that they had to do. To make a long story short, I wont be diving again until 2008 it looks like, as my doctor felt a 10 year window was the safest.... It left me dead on the OR table, so Im gonna listen to the man. I dont need to tell you about the difference in pressure at 50 feet under. Heck, I can still feel it sometimes *a little tightening* on a cold day at 12 feet still in a heated pool.


I miss it like mad Bud. I grew up in Georgia, and use to dive all over the place.... now, Im a landlubber. *chuckles* Oh well, I got an agoraphobic pet turtle bent on global domination out of the deal. :D

Woodbury TRU put out 3 cases this morning, but there were only 25 figures left. The guy said that they had four Culpeppers & 3 Ogdens, but they were gone by the time I got there. He also told me that the only variant that they got was a Priest Holmes in the white jersey, but as I was looking through the figures, I got a blue on blue Urlacher!! :D

I also noticed that they had C. Johnson with both color nameplates. Which is supposed to be the error??

Also, in case you stop in a Shinders & they have a bunch of older SPs, it's because they bought a LOT (if not everything) from Josh at Galaxy Collectibles. I went to the Maplewood Shinders & they had at least 3 dozen older figures - some marked as low as $4.99. But, at the same time, they had a regular KG from NBA1 marked at $29.99 and a chase Gaborik at $59.99!!

MAKA - I went to the game with a buddy that I play hoops with a the Lifetime in Woodbury. They were his seats, but they were awesome!! 8 rows behind the visitors bench!!

I really like what they did with the new seats & rearranging the seats behind the baskets. You can tell it's now the home of the Timberwolves as soon as you enter the seating area.

As far as the trades, I'm not so sure about Kidd until his knee is completely healed, Mourning until he can play a full month & I like Wally!!

What section were the 3" singles in, so I know where to look??

As far as the arena goes, the only thing I thought was wierd was the black and green chairs. Also did you happen to notice they have side entry for hockey now? just like the X.

Target has the singles in the Christmas candy area. Target Roseville didn't have any Moss', but they did have all the others.

The black & green chairs match the ribbon around the neck & arm holes of the jerseys. The black is the ribbon & the green are the pine trees.

By side entry, did you mean the entry behind the hoops?? That was definitely a needed change, as I have been to a few games & sat behind the basket & you couldn't see much of the game.

KG is bigger than his first one, and for some reason he now has a tattoo on his right forearm. he's missing his finger protector he always wears. other than that it is a nice fig.

I thought most of you guys probably knew about this. Sorry. Oh and by the way...the site is just weird as hell. It'll tell you that their out, and five minutes later, they're back in stock. What I did was set my account up for one click buying, and when the refresh comes up that they're in stock hit that badboy and wait for it to tell you that you got one. then go to your account home and adjust the order for quantity.

Yes, NFL2K5 is good. If you watched the Spike TV video games last night, they showed a clip of Madden 05, and then they showed ESPN NFL2K5 because they were both nomiated. If you saw it tell me which one interested you more. Definately ESPN. That's my opinion though. You should try it out if you haven't had the chance.
