Next Sat at F & S there is going to be an orange county chapter of Star Wars that is going to be celebrating the upcoming epidode III movie. There are supposed to be a lot of people dressed up as characters from the Star Wars movies in case you want to take your kids or yourselves :p to take pictures.

Does your local GS get all the Cooperstown and Legends lines?

The reason I ask is because my local GS sayd that a case has to be preordered in order for that store to get a case in. If it isnt preorederd, then they will not get that line.

They do recieve all the regular MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA lines without preorders.

Whats the situation at your local GS?

According to all the GS I contacted in the Valley that is their standard procedure right now.I live right down the street from a GS and the manager always grabs all the hard to find figures. When he told me this I thought he was BSing me so I checked a few more and they all said the same thing. One store did get a case of Legends in my area, it was marked reserved but nobody reserved it so the manager let me take some figures.

GS charges $12.99 per figure. Times 12, plus tax, you're looking at around $165 per case.

Odalis is one of my favorite Dodgers, he is such a good signer and very nice. One time at Dodger Stadium, before a game, I had a Braves card for him to sign and he jokingly refused to sign it, then giggled and signed it, and also took a pic with my son.

Going to the Dodger game tonight....nice seats at the far end of the visitors dugout, about 12 rows back in the field section(last season they were only 3 back or so). Hopefully Penny pitches well again...it will be a good sign for the Dodgers. I know we can't count on a Hee Seop Choi slame every night:)

BTW, has anyone seen a regular Ruth in stores in the part few days? I've hit every TRU in the Valley and a few KB's and cannot find any Mays or Ruth's....and apparently Stargell is limited prodution as well. I see tons of Schmidt, Ripken, and Hunter though.

I was able to get email confirmation at 1pm, after about 3 hrs going back and forth trying to refresh. But in my order status, it's shown that I've ordered 20 :confused: and my credit cards were authorized (not charged) 5 times. So check your credit cards, because even you didn't get the email confirmation, they might have contacted your credit card company. One of my friend didn't get email and was authorized 2 times. At least I got the email (only 1) with the order number. Hopefully they'll correct it by Wed. Good luck.

They carry alot of SP's there also, but i'm sure they are marked up considerably. If I remember right I think it was $60 per auto (on a flat piece). but dont quote me on this, i just took a quick glance at the poster.

Managed to score a couple of clone commanders, clone pilots and AT-TE gunners. WOOHOO. Now gotta get the ones above 40.

Managed to find some of the Target clones this morning. Foothill Ranch had none, but RSM had a case. Got myself the 2 I wanted. Also snagged an operating table Vader, Jet Pack Trooper and a Vulture droid, along with an AT TE Gunner. Oh, snagged a 12" Shaak Ti from the Foothill Target.

Heard from one of the guys that the Wal Marts have started getting 41 and higher, hopefully they'll be everywhere soon.
