Very impressed by ROTS. Very dark, very sad at the end. Great movie and a great end to an era. I highly doubt you will ever see Darth Vader the same again after seeing this movie. Before he was just the big bad villain in black, and now he's much more of a tragic character.

I think my friend using MIRC.com to download all his movies, music, etc. He posted it on his FTP site. But when I tried to download it to my computer, it said the file was too big. The file itself is around 1.4 GB. He said I needed to have a DVD burner on my computer too. Since I don't, guess I just have to have him make me a copy. eBay's selection of Angels/Dodgers tickets aren't that great.
time for plan D. what I think i'll do is just buy 4 of the cheapest individual tickets, just to get in the stadium, then try and find 4 seats together. i'm sure there will be 4 open seats together somewhere in the entire stadium.

thereturnofthefiend5, sounds like a good plan.
the only game of the series we can attend is the Friday night game, because Saturday I work all day and Sunday is a 1pm game (if i'm not mistaken) and I stoppped going to 1pm games (because of the heat).
I have a friend that hasnt been to Angel Stadium yet and is huge Dodgers fan. So I want to take her and watch her beloved Dodgers get the tar get kicked out of them by the Angels in beautiful Angel Stadium!
So i'm going to eventually need 4 actual seats together so we can watch most of the game.
Let's see if J3-M8 is down with this plan! :D

Here's a look at the Angels 2005 draft:
--------------------------------------------------------
37. Trevor Bell, RHP, Crescenta Valley HS (La Crescenta, Calif.): Good all-weather pitcher who can handle the pressure. Mid 90s fastball, Major League curve, good mound presence.
58. Ryan Mount, SS, Ayala HS (Chino, Calif.): Can get around on 93 mph fastball; hit eight balls out of Angel Stadium in workout.
71. Patrick Phillips, SS, Redan HS (Stone Mountain, Ga.): Brother of Brandon Phillips. Has power. Reminds me of Enos Cabell. Attended same high school as former Angels standout Wally Joyner.

Kent signed 2 baseballs for me, and 2 photos which they had there. the rule was supposed to that he would sign only the items available. no personal items. he was late getting there, so i guess he decided to sign whatever the people brought him. the macy's workers would tell the people only one item, but when i got there he just signed both baseballs, and signed 2 photos for me, one with a message to my cousin. jeff kent is a great guy, very nice.

Just wanted to give a shout out to JayLoc. I don't think this is news to any of you but just in case, here goes. I had the chance to meet JayLoc at F&S on Saturday ... absolutely the nicest guy around ! Funny thing is, even my 3-year old son said "I like Jacob, he's cool". That was so cute and funny to hear but it did speak the truth. JayLoc went out of his way to help a fellow SoCal member (me) out big time and I wanted to be sure to give him his props for it. Thanks a million Jacob - you're awesome ! Hope you're 100% satisfied with that Emmitt and hope we get the opportunity to hook up again in the near future ! Big shout out to you for your kindness !!!

Finley? What happened? :D
Just imagine there was indeed a variant for Vlad Guerrero Angels and you had the opportunity to buy it for about a $100 but decided to pass. Then you find out it is extremely rare and that there are only maybe 5 more in existence and that it is valued at say $500.
If you do this, then you have successfully pulled out the manuever known as the "Jacob". Just messing with you man. :D Take care.
(J3-M8...if you would like me to explain it to you again on the board, please just ask ;))

This was me when I was replying earlier "C an't make joke...musttt resssisstt." But I just had too.
On a serious note...there was a SoCal member selling a bunch of items earlier in May. After the board wiped out my PMs, I had no idea who it was. I was supposed to meet them sometime @ Frank's...but I know it involved a Dorothy thong variant and perhaps another figure or two. If anyone can help, please let me know! I dont' want to let the SoCal boardie think that I'm avoiding him!
Thanks!

Looks like Gagne is done for the year and possibly next if he has to have Tommy John surgery. Dodgers should have traded him.

Anyone feel the earthquake today? Shook pretty good, not one of the nicer "rolling" kind.

So if he's caught with his fourth offense is gone for the year like steroids? :p
Jason, I felt it. Although it seemed more off a jolt than rolling to me. I was at the parents house in Yorba Linda so a little closer to Yucaipa. I just hope none of these past earthquakes are a precursor to a bigger one. I better make sure all my toys are secure. :p
