I haven't been able to post much on the boards for the last few months. Lots to catch up on! How's everyone been doing lately?

What does everyone think of the moves the Kings and Ducks have made? As you can tell, I'm very happy that Jeremy Roenick is now a King! Always been a fan of his. Did anyone hear him on KROQ (Kevin & Bean) the day after the trade?

No sign of MLB 13 at the Targets in Pasadena. Target near Madre and Colorado doesn't have SPs in the new reset nor does Duarte. The Pasadena near Lake and Colorado has some remaining MLB 12 but that's it.

had a good time at Knotts today, even though it was my birthday, my kids had more then enough fun for all of us !!! :D

guess it was my lucky day also, won at a baseball throwing game (won a giant cookie monster and elmo plush) and a basketball game (won a pink and blue giant monkey that you hang around your neck) :)

next hit TRU, a while bunch of mlb11, mlb12 and nhl legends2. also saw 12" mcnair, 12" yao, smith/theodore 2 pac, and naascar harvick all green tagged (50% off)

finally hit target, no SP's at all in thier toy section, last time the had 6-8 pegs dedicated to sp's

then took the kids out to chuch e cheeses for dinner (aka play time) :)

I already asked Mark about this a couple weeks ago and he said they are considering it.

The Target in Pasadena that I'm training at had MLB 13 and NFL 3" series 2 today! Walked in this morning before opening and picked up a Manning and an O's Sosa (opener and up for trade.) The 2 Randys and 1 Pedro were gone before my break at 3pm, leaving 2 Larry Walkers on the pegs. No Moises were out so there is more of that case in back I'm sure. All NFL 3" were there though.

Hey LA County, have you found SPs at Target? Here in OC, I've only seen them at Fullerton and nowhere else.

One thing I've found out in training is that stores have already completed their toy reset so if you see a Target that doesn't have SPs on the shelves, chances are they aren't gonna have them. Not sure why we are seeing some with them and some without. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Well despite that, it looks like they are moving well. Not one dealer at Franks on Sunday had any, save for Dave who had 1 Pedro and 1 Alou. The Target I'm at isn't a big SPs store, as evidenced by the Dr. J chase I got that sat there for almost 2 weeks, and those MLB 13 were gone within a couple of hours. All that was left today was 1 Alou.

I scored the last 3" Ray Lewis today. Only 1 Favre and 1 McNabb left. The 3" NFL cleared out quick.

I went to the Game Stop in Cerritos to try to pre-order an X-Box 360 and luckly that Game Stop was still taking reservations, but anyway they had NFL legends but no MLB 13. The Toys R Us in Fullerton had no NFL legends except for one Harris and only Moises Alou and Larry Walker from MLB 13. On Saturday at F & S they where only selling sets of MLB 13. If anybody finds a Pedro Martinez and Randy Johnson please let me know. The one's I found at the Toys R US in Signal Hill were in bad shape.:mad:

On Wed the NFL hosted a celebrity PPK competition and the office I work was invited to take kids to participate. We took over 1,000 kids. NFL stars on hand Moon, Brian Mitchell Sehorn, S. Sharpe, Thurman Thomas, Jamal Anderson, Roger Craig, Eddie George and coach Carrol from USC...They treated the kids great.

I went on a mini haul with my baby son tonight and found all MLB13 at Fullerton TRU, and they had lots of 3" NFL(all tri), Picked up a 3" Tomlinson and an Alou. Only NFL Legends I saw were regs of Elway, Unitas, and Barry.

Then went to Fullerton Target and all I saw were MLB12 and NBA Legends and they had all of the 3" NFL so I took the only Sapp.

I completely forgot that I had bought tickets for the KROQ's Inland Invasion Show on Saturday at the Hyundai Pavilion. :o I bought them on the KROQ presale last month, but unfortunately I can't go. :( Does anyone want them??

They are two lawn seats (general admission) for the show Saturday at the Hyundai Pavilion.. The artists playing on the main stage are: Beck, Weezer, Oasis, Cake, 311, Madness, Live, Jet, Garbage, The Arcade Fire, The Bravery and Travis Barker & DJ AM. And on the early stage: Kasabian, Fishbone and Bloc Party. I saw Beck at Universal (or Gibson Amphitheater as its now called) last month, and his show was great! The regular price for the tickets are $35 each plus TicketMaster charges (so about $80 total). I only paid $60 for them (the KROQ presale was $25 + TM charges), so that's all I want for them. They are hard copy tickets (not TicketFast). I can FedEx them (for free from work, shhhhh! :D ) to anyone so they would arrive tomorrow. Or if anyone is in the Hollywood or Westside area today or tomorrow we could arrange for a pick-up instead.

Thanks, man. That KROQ presale was a great deal! Have fun at the show. No luck so far... it's probably too late for ebay (and I'm definitely not a ticket scalper!). Though someone here at work recommended Craig's List. Probably too late for that too.... Actually the girlfriend's why I'm not going. She was the one who stood in line last month for the free tickets to the Kings-Ducks preseason game Saturday night at Staples. So we are definitely going to the hockey game tomorrow night! I have no choice in the matter! ;)

And speaking of hockey, for those interested regular season tickets for both the Kings and the Ducks go on sale on Saturday morning (full details at both team's websites). But in a nutshell, Ducks tix go on sale at 10 am at the Pond and all Ticketmaster locations. Kings tix go on sale at Staples only at 9 am, then through Ticketmaster at noon.

Actually the Kings are making a whole "“Hockey Day in LA" day of it with free practices and a futures games between Kings and Ducks prospects, plus a surprise for the ticket sales. Check this out: Kings players will “work the box office” and distribute sold tickets that morning to fans... tickets “sold” by various Kings players at the window as Kings front office employees, alumni and broadcasters serve donuts and coffee to fans in line. I plan on being there!

Do it online. I went to get Ducks/Wings tix one year at The Pond and it was an absolute disaster. I was the 3rd person to arrive that morning. Stood there for a couple/few hours and then as a crowd gathered, Pond personnel came out and said they would be handing out wristbands!! Mind you there were less than 100 people so that was BS in itself. Well then they got everyone in order based on wristbands and put you in one line. Well that one line spilled out into 5 individual lines at the box office, so right there the point of the wristbands went out the window. I was sent to the line to the far right and got stuck behind someone buying tix for multiple games and debating what seats to get for each. I watched nearly 15 people who were BEHIND me get tix before I did because they were in other lines. I went ballistic and the guy in charge came out and when I explained the whole thing to him he was visibly disturbed that it got handled the way it did out there. He went back in and tried to see what tix they could find for me for that particular game since all that was available once I got up there was the upper deck. All he could do was get me 4 tix in the front row of the small level just above the luxury suites. It was better than nothing at that point but I told the guy they really f-ed up. My advice: go to Ticketmaster.com or eBay. I've gotten some greats seats for cheap on eBay.
