Yes they had all series 12 figures, at least the regs, there is at least 1/2 dealers selling sportspicks. Al, Brandon, Dave and Ken are the big 4, IMHO, for the most part the prices are below "regular". $10.81 w/ tax is what I consider regular. Good luck , may see you there.

14lalo, I was at F&S last night. I picked up the Series 12 LT, and a Series 10 LT (white jersey). The Series 12 LT has the striped socks. All they had there were the striped sock version. I was looking for the solid blue socks, but, noone had it.

I couldn't find a Brees at all. I was told they were selling, even at a higher than average price ($15), because they were coming, at most, 1 to a case.

As for the socks, I thought the stripes were supposed to be the one's in lesser quantity?

They are. First cases will have striped (error) socks, then according to Mark (as he said "hopefully"), the later cases will have mostly (corrected) solid socks.

Just got back from the Xbox 360 Zero hour party at Palmdale. I manage to get a 360 at 9pm and got some free goodies t-shirts, sweatshirts, beanies, memory cards and got to play all the new lineup games. I can tell you that it is light years away from the original xbox. great graphics and if you are able to I highly recommend you get one.

Yeah I go there often as well only because its the only place I'm aware of in Tustin/Irvine/SA/Orange to buy sp's. And they NEVER have a thing. I went there when NFL 11 came out and the toy manager brought out two cases for a "friend" who grabbed the Elam and Ben chase. By accident I crashed their secret meeting in the clearance aisle by the back door. They then both started speaking spanish to each other(unfortunately I can't) and said there was no room to put them out so he took them back to the stock room. I guess you've got to know someone to get anything there.

So... any OC sightings? I know TRU in Mission Viejo had them, and somebody on the inside took every single decent figure, and they had only a few on the pegs shortly after opening last weekend. Since my company is moving, I don't have time to run around searching right now. :(

I went X-Mas shopping, and I saw some new NHL at Tustin TRU, don't ask me who they had, because I don't know any of the players, the only player I remember was Rick Nash. They also restocked on some NFL12, including 3 solid sock LTs.

ANSWER #7: NFL 14 won't be finalized until just after the Super Bowl. As for Magic, we own the rights to make a figure of him and we are sculpting/painting it right now. We have been told that approval times regarding his merchandise can be lengthy, so while we're optimistic we can get approval in time to include him in NBA Legends Series 2, we can't guarantee his inclusion at this point.

A boardmember said the set was $35 and the Kobe $25, but when I went the cheapest for the set was $40 and the Kobe $35. OK Guys. NHL Legends 3 is out. This is the one I've been waiting for. The NHL 10 release was so disappointing for me, and it wasn't even important. I need your guys help in getting the complete set of 3. I really need your help. Because I work M-F, I can't go check in the mornings except on weekends.

Yes, complete set. That would make it 12 figures. I'm not into other sports, and this has the first figures I really really want. Once I get all 12, I'll go back to getting NHL 12 and older. And Gretzky and Dionne are the top of my list of course. But I want every single one of them.

Hey everybody, haven't checked in for a little while. Hope everyone's doing well. Happy (belated) New Year to all the SoCal boardies, and hope everyone had nice holidays. :) Had a nice time visiting with family and friends in the Toronto area over Christmas. I did a bit of "hunting" when I was there as well.

I really wanted to find an "In the Crease" goalie 3-pack (WalMart Canada exclusive), but no luck. I did buy one of the new Gretzky Team Canada 12-inch figures (the regular Red figure). Other than that nothing but a ton of regulars. Only minor bit of success... found a Rick Nash NHL 10 chase. :D As reported on the boards back in December WalMart Canada received a lot of NHL Legends 2 cases last month and put them on sale for $3.92 (Cdn) each -- this was before they started popping up at "Dollar General" stores
in various eastern states in the last week. No chases whatsover, no Fuhrs or Esposito regs, just a lot Gretzkys (Kings & Oilers) and a few Bossys. I did buy a Marvel Legneds Purple X-23 variant (bought it at a hobby shop though, so probably overpaid for it -- $23 Cdn with tax, so about $20 US). It's weird Canada seems to get Marvel Legends first.... :confused:

King Smokey -- so while no luck on the Fuhrs, I did find and purchase a white Bossy REG for you. It cost about $4.60 Cdn with tax, so that's about $4 US. Drop me a PM, we’ll figure out how to get it to you. I can send it, you can pick it up or we can always meet at F&S at some point. Bought a white Kings Gretz for my girlfriend as well.

Another note about cheap SPs... my local Big Lots in Hollywood (near work) had one 12-inch Kings Gretzky and one 12" Oilers Gretzky when I was there the other day -- both marked down to $10. :eek: I won't be able to get back there until next week (I'm off tomorrow and Friday), but if anyone wants either one let me know. If they're still there next week I can walk over there on my lunch hour and pick one up.

On another note, wasn’t it stupid that the Kings-Ducks shootout thriller wasn't on local TV Monday night. :mad: The game was only available on OLN, which is only available on digital cable in SoCal. What a joke! The only good thing about that is that I was able to watch "24" uninterrupted and some of the Canadian election coverage on CSPAN too!

Went to the Pond on Saturday to see the Ducks-Panthers game. They had a Niedermayer brothers bobble head giveaway for the first 10,000 fans - it’s pretty nice, came packaged in a nice box too. They're already on eBay :rolleyes: I'm going to the Kings game tomorrow versus the Oilers and Saturday afternoon versus the Ducks. Saturday's game is a Luc Robitaille puck giveaway. :D
