Just have a few questions. Im not knocking anyone at all, just wondering what is the point of reffing people. Is there a prize for the most repped people? I see people that have like 10 green boxes, but i wonder if they are all legit refs.
There is aThread that people just ref one and other for the hell of it. IMO kind of takes away from it. I dont see the point of it.
If I was doing a trade, unless I know them, seen them make numerous successfully trades, or had a common good trader, I would still want some form of a ref check. I would nt go by the green boxed refs.
I have a few points and have no problems reffing lovely so cal, and other good traders. Im just wondering what the bottom line is.
IMO they should just take this feature out, and make more room in our sigs for our refs.

I totally see what you mean. I think at this point, it is not a matter of using the rep boxes as actually having a good rep. People will always still go with how many good trades you have actually done. Personally, for me it is something that is just fun to do especially when I am procrastinating with my studies...actually, if I were starting again from no green boxes, I would actually like to do what Warlord is doing and getting neg rep.

I agree. Good trader/seller/buyer lists are far better for references than this repping system, especially since that repping thread got started. It's totally pointless now.

Man what a great weekend Dodgers take 2 out of 3 from the hated Giants, The Trojans make a great comeback and win against Standford and The Raiders get sweet revenge on the Buccaneers.
