Sorry man, just now saw your post. My buddy said the trout derby at Irvine Lake is some time this month. I'll post a date when I hear one. Where abouts do u go in the Sierras? My family used to go to Convict Lake every summer, and now my spot is June Lake. My best friend's dad owns a cabin up there so we go fish June, Grant, etc. Fun times!

I've got a question for you guys. What do u all do for a living? I'm at a rough spot in life where I'm making a career change. I graduated last year and got my BA in Communications, interned at Fox Sports and wanted to work in sports TV production. Well, I've found out how BS the whole entertainment industry is, and seen some friends of mine get out of it, so now I'm in job hunt mode and it totally blows. A lot of the stuff I apply for as just a temporary solution I never hear back from because I'm over qualified. I'm pretty open to anything at this point in terms of career potential. I don't need to make a ton of money to be happy. I just want to feel like I'm accomplishing something. So basically, it's suggestion box time. :D Thanks for reading.

Thanks for responding. Have you seen any at F&S if so what were the price "ranges"? The reason I am asking this is because I want to know if it is cheaper to buy at F&S or on ebay. I got both the 12"and 6" Kings Gretzkys for $48.00 total(w/shipping). I need the Owens 49er chase and they are going for about $40.00 total(w/shipping). Have you seen or do you know anyone who will have it for less? I would really appreciate if you or anyone in this thread has any info. THANKS again.

Yeah, seems like Target (once again) has stopped carrying SPs.

Joseph: Try twisting the legs as you push in. In all honesty, it took me all of 5 seconds to pop the legs in my Gretzky today. No problem whatsoever. The only problem I do have is that the Kings Gretz is too tall for my shelf set up. He'll have to go on the desk.

Hi guys. I am looking to trade for some NFL 10 regs, but not have to pay for shipping. Sorry to do this on the So Cal thread, but I thought it might be the best way to accomplish this.

The regs I would like are (they definitely can be openers) : LT, Roy Williams, TO, Moss, Vinatieri, and maybe a Dante 2 or a Gretzky Kings.

The chase figs I am willing to trade are: Peppers chase, Favre 2 chase, a Dante 2 chase, and Kevin Brown chases.

Some of the regs (would be willing to do all four for 2 NFL 10 regs) that I am willing to trade are: Ahman, Peyton 2, Jamal Lewis, and Steve McNair.

The articulation is great, the loose Boba next to the repackaged one is the VOTC fig, and from my counts has 14 points of articulation.

I went wednesday to F & S and I saw a Yao Ming from the new nba and it is huge compared to the regular mcfarlane figures. Having the legs attached does make a difference plus the hunch pose helps the figure fit in the regular clamshell.

woot woot... was waiting in line, at Best Buy since 12:00 am. I got a digital Camera retails at 300.00 for 150.00. 256 MB memory card retail at 56.00 istand rebate of 37.00, 19.00 after rebate. I was going to buy another one, but they said one would be enough. 160 GB HD at 119.00 with a mail in rebate of 30.00 + 60.00, 29.00 after rebates. Also, picked up X box and Gameboy advance games for younger cousins and nephews.

Going to the Laker game tonight. I am so excited. This is going to be my first time at a Lakers game. Ill see if I can load up the pictures later. Ill be at F&S tomorrow. Ill take your 12" Manning , Jason. I picked up about 12- 12" figures this week
