I hit about 6 TRU's last weekend and saw these.

I only saw regs of Francis, Iginla, Roenick, Shanahan and Smyth.

None of the "better" figs (Kovalchuk, Richter, Salo and Thibault) were there.

And they were still priced at $9.99 each!

Ah, I like it. It's cool. I have a crap load of CD's so that's why it's ideal. Yea, might as well go w/ the new 30gb photo...I got the 20gb for christmas, and the new 30gb is $50 more.

Regarding the celebration...the limit is based on the amount of days you attend. One per each day, but I think if you get a two day ticket, you can buy your two on one day, but zero on the next. So the max would be four b/c the celebration is only four days long.

yes jorge it was this past saturday surprisingly there weren't a lot of people around so there was time to chat with mr parker and maywe. The R2D2 unit was unbelivable, it was fully functional no pun intendent. ;) It must have taken a lot of money to build it but it could have been mistaken for the real one. It even had a built in fire extingushier that by the way scare a obese man that was carrying a very small dog when he found himself getting spray. Man I swear I never seen anyone move so fast in my life :D

Hit 3 Gamestops at lunch today. Santa Ana (Bristol and Segerstrom) hadn't received any Cooperstown 2 yet. Irvine (Barrancha/Culver) got a case in, 10 figures were left, No Mays. South Coast Plaza got 2 cases. There were 2 Mets Mays figures. I picked both up, one for me and one for Mospawn. The figures look great, can't wait for my case from Kim to arrive.

I found out today that a local UPS driver buys up all the chase/retros at the local GS's he delivers to, and has his buddies buy up figs on GS's that the deliver to.

thats the second lowest price i've seen SP's for (a WM a couple years ago had them for $1 each).

The Lava Vader is a Target exclusive available April 2nd. Managers have been instructed to lock them in their offices to prevent employees grabbing them as they will be handing out tickets for the figs on the morning of the 2nd. It'll be $12.99 and I believe it's 1 per person.

I can't wait for the 3 ROTS Unleashed figs, I just need to clear a space for them.

Actually the GH were one of the first ROTS products to leak. They've been all over So Cal at Target stores. I found them a couple weeks ago actually (pretty sure I posted it in here.)

From what I've read on the various SW sites, plenty of people found basic figs, Unleashed (I found those), vehicles, Force Battlers, deluxe figs, etc. early but now they are all scanning as "do not sell" so your chances of scoring early now are very slim. Either Lucas or Hasbro got angry. Best thing to do if you find basic figs is to keep them in your basket/cart and have the cashier scan a preview fig, as this will obviously scan, times however many figs you have. That way you avoid seeing the "do not sell" on the register and get the figs.

Bust ups are tiny busts of Star Wars characters. And yes they have a Boba Fett, actually two. One regular and one chase silver one. They have all sorts of characters from Star Wars. Series 3 just came out and that's the series with Boba.

My opinion will be bias since I used to be hooked up quite often at my local TRU.

A little background first. I used to be a regular customer at the Brea TRU until I found out they we're opening one in Anaheim Hills. Once they did I visited that one pretty much 5 days out of the week. Now because of my frequent visits you start to get to know the people in their and just talk to them. They end up being more aquaintances then employee/customer. With that said, they had no problem helping me out if I ever needed anything. You know its pretty funny walking into TRU with some friends and all of them look at you when the TRU employee greets you by your first name.

Unfortuantely a few things have stopped this from happening. First is that I moved out of that area and the employees I knew their have either moved on to another job or have been relocated to another store.

Too bad I wasn't into SPs back then or else I would have a lot of stuff like I do with my Star Wars stuff. Oh well. :p

I used to work at a TRU before.

A bunch of regulars would come in and ask me to "HOOK THEM UP". I would always say that we had nothing in the back.

But there was this guy who I didnt mind helping out. He wasnt like those other guys, this guy was a real "good guy". I've helped him and his wife get "hard to find toys" for thier son on many occasions.

If there were SLU's in the back I would take out the ones I wanted and he would pick out the ones he wanted. He then would put them all on his CC and I would give him $ what my figs cost later on. I wouldnt accept an extra penny from him. I thought that by doing this favor for me was enough on his part.

I just didnt want other nosey employees seeing me buying figs and labeling me.

We even car-pooled to a SLU convention when it was in Anaheim, way back in the days.

Yup, series 3 is the bounty hunter series. Boba, Jango, Zuckuss, Bossk, Dengar and 4-LOM. Unfortunately, in the case of 12, 4 are Boba (3 reg and 1 silver), 2 were Jango, 2 Zuckuss and 2 Bossk, 1 each of Dengar and 4-LOM.

My buddy Jamie is in town for a few days and we found some more Ep.III product (all the lightsabers and Grievous & Obi1 Force Battlers) today, but it all scanned as "see associate for assistance" on their price scanners so we didn't even bother trying to get it.
