Nah, the manga is in Japanese. There is a company that is translating the manga into English but they are only up to volume 8 so far. The only info I have for the dvd that's coming out is because there was a little piece on the outside of the manga that shows it. It does list www.guyver.jp though on there.

I've heard the job they've done on the translations is so much better than the translations that Viz did when they had the license. Sooner or later I'll pick them up....it would be nice to know what it is I'm reading.

This is a picture from the next chapter following volume 23. Most of the chapter looks to be Agito's recollection of how the Gigantic armor came to be and then cuts back to the present with the armor pulling itself off and him realizing that Sho took it from him and that's where it ended.

I don't have a link to it, I got a little promo thing when I got volume 23 of the manga that says it's coming out on February 24th and it just says to go to www.guyver.jp for info but it's all in Japanese.

The one that do have a good translation and are being made are just too much of a pain in the a s s to get ahold of....

Max Factory has shown pictures of Alkanfel, Imakarum Mirabilis, and Purg'stall. Other than those 3 they haven't given any news and there isn't anything shown on their website.

yeh it has quitened down a bit, I usually use another guyver forum aswell, that forum seems to be more about the new series than the figures.

I don't think you're gonna have a lot of luck with Murakami....HLJ might be your best bet but I don't think they have him in stock right now. All the stores have been sold out of him for awhile.

it was really good, I think it was one of the best eps so far.
zx-tole has amazing fire power and guyout does quite a cool attack,where the green orbs on his body fire at that alkanphel (dont no how to spell or pronounce it lol) guy, but then it ends :(

if you go to www.theguyer.net/guyverboard (http://www.theguyer.net/guyverboard) you should find some files called srt files which contain the subtitles but you have to use media player classic to add the files in yourself i think.
I think they have them for every eps up to 20, 21 hasn't been done yet i don't think.

so i've watched up to episode 20 of the anime. i was rather surprised by how different the story was from the original TV series. in particular the Lost Numbers and the Hyper Zoanoid 5. i really like Murakami, i don't see how he's going to end up switching sides. he seems like such a nice guy. i also can't wait till Aptom starts teaming up with Sho.

someone contacted maxfactory on another forum I'm on and they said that it will be released on the 2nd or 3rd of Feb I think, so hobby search having it in stock should be about right, HLJ still don't have it yet though, or maybe they haven't updated their site yet.

I've noticed that Hobby Search always has new items in stock before HLJ. I don't know why it takes them longer to get things. They seem to be getting a little worse when it comes to that and getting things shipped out in a timely manner. I had an order that was processed and ready to ship and it took 2 weeks to ship.

ebay's quite a good place to look, and if you contact the people selling them, they will usually give you some discount if you buy more than one figure from them, but to only actually pay for 1 of the figures through ebay.
They won't ahve to pay the admission charge for the item and so can charge less money.
You also save on shipping if you combine your order

wow it's been a while since i've been on here.... i've collected every figure they have released thus far and i can honestly say with each one they just get better. i finished my collection earlier this week with my guyver gigantic : ) i cant wait till they release the zoalords!! i also purchased BFW's thancrus, derzerb, elegen, and gastor to display with my zxtole. i'll post pics tomorrow so you guys can see the size ratio and all. i know i was wondering before i bought them if they would look good to display with my BFC's, so i'm sure there are some of you out there thinking the same. i also got BFW's evil aptom and zerebuth on the way. and just so you guys dont think i'm some spoiled little rich brat, i sold all of my previous figures to collect these. and i mean ALL (spawn, gundam, gundam fix, armored core, the list goes on). but it's all good cause these figures are def worth it.

also, guyverfan do you know anything about the dvd release this month? what site i could find it at? and also if it's actually with englished dubbed over it or just with subs. i havent had any luck with tryin to find it online. everytime i do a search, the engine i'm using will pop up with old guyver dvds. and i get nothing but bootleg stuff on ebay. thanks

seeing as it says DVD-BOX1 I doubt its the entire season, probably episodes 1-3 maybe, like they did with the old series.
There's a few bootleg versions on ebay that go up to episode 18 or roundabout there.
they only have subtitles though i think

Mine don't look anywhere as nice as that, lol. My newest hobby has taken over most of my interest for the time being...Bandai S.I.C. Kamen Rider (and Garo) figures. I'm still waiting for my Gigantic to arrive so I haven't had anything new as far as the Guyver goes for a little bit, maybe that'll jump start things again.

thanks! :D i can honestly say that while the quality and articulation is nothing compared to the bfc's, i like the way the bfw's accent my zxtole. i cant wait for my evil aptom and zerebuth to get here. much anticipation. i won't however, be getting any of the other bfw's except for maybe the future release of human gyuot and the remaining aptom forms. i have no idea when they are comming out though :confused: i guess the reason i dont want to get anymore is because you cant really pose them which gets kinda annoying.

i just noticed how cool it feels to be addressed as guyver1. never thought about that when making my board name. i have way too much free time on my hands...

One thing I noticed is that they redesigned Imakarum's head sculpt from the original promotional picture that came out awhile ago. In the manga as he changed from Murakami to Imakarum the basic shape of his face never changed but the original figure's face was very different from that of Murakami so I'm really glad that they went back and fixed it.

I just can't wait for Imakarum...he's like my holy grail character from the manga. I still haven't had a chance to open my Gigantic....poor thing is probably all alone locked in his box separate from all the others, lol. When I get home tonight I should have plenty of time to open him (and all the other stuff I've acquired over the last couple of days) and see just how cool he is. Even though I like Guyver III's design more than Guyver I, I find that I like the look of Guyver Gigantic more than that of Gigantic Dark.

That's what I meant about the spikes....how Gigantic Dark was different. I have both of the ZX-Tole figures but the regular one isn't nearly as good as Neo is and if money is an issue then I'd say you could probably go without ZX-Tole and you won't regret it....unless you are trying to be a completionist with this series like I am. Aside from Guyver I, Imakarum is the reason I enjoy the Guyver manga as much as I do. They resculpted Imakarum's head so it resembles Murakami's alot more than it originally did which I am very pleased with. I don't know if the new Guyver I is a gashapon...I think Max Factory realizes that there are only 3 Guyvers so they are trying to be creative with their releases. If that's the only new thing about that Guyver I then I may skip him as I don't think it would be worth paying $40 just for a new head sculpt.

Did that just get put up? I was on there 20 minutes ago and nothing was new. Anyway, I plan on skipping that one...I already have a Guyver I figure and don't feel the need to dish out $40+whatever shipping will be for the same figure. I was really hoping it would have been Imakarum.

My Guyver Gigantic FINALLY arrived today. The figure itself is beautiful, which is only natural since it's Guyver 1 (my all time favorite), but it's missing a hand :( . I'm a completionist, i have to have every figure with all its accessories, so this is really ticking me off. If it was Guyver Gigantic Dark that was missing a hand, i dont think i would've been that ticked off, but this is Guyver 1, the Guyver i love enough to get the original AND the version with the extra head...

If the figure you're talking about is the new Guyver I figure I believe it's the exact same figure as Series 5 Guyver I. As neat as it looks like that I'm not going to be getting it, not unless it comes with some all new accesories which I seriously doubt it will.

Episode 26 Is when Sho emerges from the cocoon as Giigantic guyver.Neo ZX Tole gets the crap beaten out of him and sacrifice himself to blow up the new gigantic guyver by overloading some kind of hyper beam from his belly using the sun. But of course Gigantic uses the big hyper mega smasher to blow his ZX Tole beam to the next solar systems. After that it ends with Sho naked in the arms of Miski crying for she happy to see him alive.

Yes Skull Shine there is a new series, A new ova anime 1-26 episode of guyver. I mostly watched it in non subtittle due to waiting for someone to fansub it would take too long. And last Ive seen was they only sub it up to ep8 only. But like I said judging from what guyverfan said in the comic books and some other website of guyvers continuing stories I was able to pickup the pieces of what the anime was talking about.

The new series starts from the beginning of the manga and stays alot truer to the manga than the old series did.

I don't think it's available in the US....at least not right now. I haven't seen it anywhere except Yesasia which has it for like $200.

The series is not bad at all. The char that has not shown up is marillbis, and gigantic dark. I believe the 12 zoalords have made there apppreance. But its finished at episode 26. so i finally ordered a Guyot. i am now slowly catching up. have Guyver's I-III, Murakami, Aptom IV, Neo ZX-Tole, and now Guyot coming. i guess that just leaves the gigantics as i won't be getting normal ZX-Tole.

I dont know, Guyot is a bit too ugly for my tastes, so there's no point in putting him on display... but that unit remover is perhaps the slickest piece of hardware i've seen... I'm going for a complete collection (I have Neo ZX-Tole coming, and i'm planning on getting ZX-Tole and Guyver Gigantic Dark later on, but im missing Murakami) but i'm not sure about getting Guyot... Can anyone who actually has him tell me if he's worth buying or not?

I think he's a pretty cool character and really like the figure. I just wish he, like Murakami, had more articulation throughout his body.

I looked on ebay and it does say they are for the new anime. I'm not sure if they are bootlegs or not because they don't even look like the individual volumes that are inside the boxset. Maybe that's just special art for the boxset though.

I would assume it is 1-26 episode is the newer anime..engish dubs they would not have.
