:) This is the first of the red cards for me. I always tried to stay away from the red and the reg. green ones (non freeze frame), since I was already into the FF ones. But now it looks like i'm going to try and complete all the sets I can now :D . But just like my other collections I try and get what I like and what is hard to find first, then I try and fill in the holes. :)

Thanks bro. I never wanted to get into the POTF red and green cards with HOLO's since they were the same as the FF set (almost). And the FF set seemed to be the hardest one to get done, and boy was I right. That was one of the first set I EVER started to collect and I'm still not done. :( But all the Star Wars I'm collecting for my kids to have in about 20+ years. ;)

I was slacking big time with with AOTC and POTJ and OTC but Jeff really helped me out big time with those lines. :)

Hi there, thx for the comments.

Ok let's see if I can give as much detail as I can about these awesome trains sets. My son is now 3 1/2yrs old and we've been collecting these for him since they came out about 2 years ago. What you see in the PICS is just about everything that has been released so far (almost everything), and yes it is MULTIPLE (I should just say a ****load) box sets. We have 7 trains all run by remote, and when they are in the remote holder each remote makes a differant sound for the train that it runs (like fire engine siren, steam train, etc, etc.) I'd say we bought about 30 seperate items parts like track, elevated track, buildings, bridge, and lots of extra lil' side decore. Lots of money and lots of hunting sometimes to find these, most stores for some reason don't carry them as much anymore.

The only that really sucks about these Geo Trax is it uses up a boatload of AAA's!!!!! If you ever think about getting these invest in Energizer battery stock or go out and buy rechargeables and a recharger. ;)

My son also LOVES trains and is a Thomas the Train freak :D ! But let me tell you, there is nothing like spending a WHOLE day with your boy making all types of crazy tracks and looking at all the cool stuff each building does and play around with the sounds and controling a lil' town :D . I think I have more fun with it then he does sometimes, lol. One other thing once you get a ton of track like I got and you build a huge set where you got tracks crossing paths and not causing any crashes. You feel like you should of been a friggin' engineer :rolleyes: :) .

Hope that helps, BTW you can buy used sets off ebay if you want a good head start, and look at Kohls stores. ; )

We have been buying Thomas the Train wooden track and accessories for a couple of years now. My son (who is 4) and I can put together a HUGE layout of track and goes up and down mountains, over bridges, etc....I know we both can relate to what I am talking about.
It sounds like this GeoTrax is pretty neat but I am not sure that I want to start a whole new set of train stuff for my 7 month old son to play with in the future. I would prefer that the two boys both play with the Thomas stuff.

One of my friends who lives near me is an AUTO HOUND. One of those guys that goes to every Sports signing there is. Well few years ago at the NYC TRU Todd was doing a signing (when NFL4 was just out). So my buddy got me the Favre and Vick signed by Todd. I was going to go this year for the same TRU signing but things didn't work out.

Y_F - My wife is very supportive of my hobbies:D ; she knows I don't waste money on crappy collectables, lol. And my kids love the stuff (they think they have such a cool dad who will collect toys with them:cool: ;) ).

My wife only lets me display a few things in the living room (like the mini bust glass display case), but most of it stays in the toy room or in storage bins.

She will even hunt for toys for me when she shops without me, and goes to comic cons with me.

lol, the way I collect, I try and get the harder to find figs first then later go after the easy to find ones (by that time they tend to be on disscount)

so I see that one all the time, just never picked it up yet. It's the same fig as the "seperation of the twins" Obi Wan (that I plan on getting soon) but he does look very sweet.

nope, don't think so. I like them better MOC.

I don't play with the toys, so why open them? I think they look like artwork while they are still in package and you have full sets of collections. It looks nicer to me that way. Just cann't wait to get a bigger place so I display more collections on the wall.;) :)
