Extreme's new one "Saudades de Rock"
First run through right now, but it sure sounds like a tight album. I thought "Waiting for the Punchline" was their absolute best, and loved it. This has a little flavor of Punchline in the toned-down, more straight-forward style, but without being so jaded and aggressive.
Nuno is Nuno, badass chops and he shreds like no one's business.

I remember seeing some show on VH1 a few years back that attempted in each episode to reunite various bands. Extreme was one of them. At the time Nuno, big baby that he is, refused to even be shown on camera and wouldn't discuss any possibility of getting back with the band. Guess he came around.

I wouldn't call this a money grab. The songs are well done, deep and entertaining. And it's not like they were huge either. Just because the chicks latched onto a couple of wet-making songs and it totally misrepresented them to the public, they never quite got the shot they deserved and I hope this brings them a little something they missed, and maybe people will review their previous efforts and see what they missed.

*ETA* After first spin, it's good. But I don't think it's got anything to knock Punchline out of first place for me.
