Official petition for TMP to make a FULL SIZE SPAWN STATUE & Mini Bust!!!

As you guys know I'm an avid statue and bust collector and I have always wanted to have something cool of Spawn made. I think TMP (with the sculpters it has) could make some killer statues. I would rather them make statue then bust cause I'd love to see the details that could be made with the capes and chains. :D


Well I was just at the statue board and seen someone ask what I've always wanted to know, if anyone has made a fullsize Spawn statue. Only kits were mentiond and someone brought up this post.

Figures.com had an ineterview with Larry Marder, McFaralane Toys President. Here is his response on statues:

I'll stick with the action figures....they're almost statues anyway but I like it that way.... and they're affordable....
but I wouldn't complain if macfarlane starts making statues too....I just probably wouldn't buy them....

I have been dying for Spawn statues for years...I dont think its economical for him to do though - it would have to be in a different scale since Todd does 6" and 12" - so its gotta be some other size - maybe something in the middle.

I would rather have Busts of Spawn characters, like the newer Star Wars ones where they have arms. I would buy a statue as well, but dropping that much at once could get costly if they do too many full size statues. The 12" figs satisfy my "statue" need for Spawn, but as far as if they made Busts if the $40-$55 range I would get them all.

On a side note, make a 12" of Spawn V already!!! Remake the mold if you have to just get it done!!

Since the Spawn vs. Batman statue was a let down in some peoples eyes, it looks like the masses are demanding a much needed well crafted, limited full-size statue again!!:spawnorb:

Not that this thread had anything to do with it but it's great to finally get some kind of statue. It could have been a bit bigger and a cooler sculpt but I really hope this is the start of things to come for a statue line.
