I live in Indiana. Yeah, my wife likes my collection... she has a hugh MLP collection too, I just took the one pic of it... there is a lot more. :) Sometimes she says it's getting too big but most of the time she is super cool about it. When we got married I told her we must buy a house with a basement... this is why. :D

Yes, I have 2 'closets' in the basement that are filled with boxed up figs... repaints, old marvel stuff, batman figs, etc... they are the closets behind the Spawn poster above the Mandarin Spawn display and behind the Movie Spawn poster.

I think it's like 24" X 36" or so. Blown up from a pic about 5" X 8" or so. The guy had to do several runs of it to get it to square up right... wasted like 8 sheets trying to get it right. I don't think they are supposed to do copywrited images like that, but the guy knew I wasn't gonna sell it or anything.

Much like the Football Spawn in the Alexander package... I just haven't gotten around to redoing his package for that Arnie custom I did. Good questions.

1) Thanks. :D I actually bought all that vintage SW stuff from a friend for $500!! :eek: Included were about 110 loose vintage figs including a rare blue snaggletooth worth about $95. ... so yeah, needless to say I got a good deal. :)

2) I'm 28. No kids... End of story. :p :D I started collecting back when Spawn came out... bought everthing at retail pretty much or below so if you buy a little at a time you can get quite a lot.

3) Our basement has never had a problem with water, the previous owner was there about 15 years and never had a problem. There is a drain right outside the basement door on the outside and we are at the top of a hill so in big rainstorms all the water runs down the hill so we are very lucky. ...Insurance..??? What's that? :D

4) I have a spread sheet that I log everything into... not including all the loose stuff you see and not including comics, all MOC stuff is roughly $20 grand. That's also not including the 200 + PS1 and PS2 games, 700 + cds etc. Or some of the stuff like the vintage SW stuff that I didn't buy at retail but bought in big lots, their cost is not figured into the cost.

5) Yes, I have a life outside my basement... but I like to hang there mostly. I'm married and have a lot of close friends. Totally not the "40 year old virgin" type. :) Yeah, I have people stop by to see my toys from time to time. A couple boardees have been over a few times, Justice151 and JMGist. JMGist and his friend Plummer stopped by one day and Plummer got a call from his girlfriend as swoon as he got there and he answered and said, "I can't talk now... I just got to Toys R Us..." and hung up. When his mom called a little later she asked if he was gonna be home for dinner and he said No and that he had just gotten to my house and wouldn't be home in time.. she asked how long he would be and he said... 4 or 5 hours... and they were there about that long looking around and stuff. even made a date to come back. They are stopping by again soon. Most people even if they are not into toys give me much props and respect for my collection and think it's pretty cool... I like it.

I don't have any other real hobbies so Toys are all I spent my money on. Don't drink, or smoke so I don't waste $ on that, have a crappy stereo, one car, no kids, wife works too and we pretty much split the bills. I did however manage to ring up about $8,000 in credit card debt when I was collecting and starting college... but have since paid that all off. So I have no real debt other than house and car payments. I'm also a cheap bastard. :) I buy a lot on sale and hardly ever will pay twice retail cost for something... I always wait til I find it cheaper.

Nope, no kids. Hence all the money for toys. :p If we were to ever have kids the basement door would be blocked by a shelf with a hidden doorknob and the kid wouldn't know we had a basement until he turned 18. :D Yes I have a job, M-F 8-5. Play in the basement after work and on weekends. Just add stuff as I buy it. It's not like it needs fed and watered...:D

Well, we moved in about 4 and a half years ago, so when we were moving in I set what I had up. As I buy I make room for the new stuff... it's ever evolving in it's set up as I add new things and run out of room here and there. Quite a bit has changed since the last collection pics I posted a year and a half ago... more shelves, MKII machine, stuff moved to the ceiling, vintage SW... still have no real place to put it... it's in front of my cd collection. :o

Ha, that's great. As for her comments:
1) That's not wallpaper... it's some kind of cushioned fabric that lines the bottome of the stairs (the stairs above the basement stairs that go to the upstairs bedroom) I guess it's there in case you hit your head. It was there when we moved in... I agree, it's pretty ugly. But I guess it looks better than if it wasn't covering the bottome of the stairs up... I guess. :o

2) Yup, Happily married for the past 4 1/2 years. ... My wife has a HUGE My Little Pony collection so she can't say anything about mine. :)

3) What can I say... I'm out of room. :o But, I did get the idea from here so there are a few others that have figs on the ceiling.

1) Not sure... Spawn series 28 for sure. (MOC and loose set) Maybe the next Dragon and Military lines but I may back out of those lines... Tom Brady 2, Marvin Harrison 2, and Johnny Unitas Sports pics to go with my Colts and Patriots collection.... The two Star Wars Battle Packs I need, and the next Unleashed wave... and a few more new ROTS figs coming out.... not sure what else. Maybe a Marvel Legend here and there.

2) I don't have any DC Super Powers... I wouldn't ming having a few though like Superman, Batman etc. I bid on a lot someone had here on Ebay but got outbid. Oh, I do however have the Hall of Justice Playset! It's boxed up. Used to have the Batmobile and Batman ( I think Supes too) But my brother got rid of them.... Batman may be still floating around though somewhere.

I buy pretty much everything at retail or below too.

1) Don't really know... some of the Force Fx Lightsabers are worth a bit. Transformers Jetfire, Blue Jersey Brady, Urizen, CC Lotus, Black Mandarin Spawn, and full transformed Werewolf are some higher end pieces.

2) I would chose this for sure: My old Monchichi that I have had forever... my mom threw it out like 3 times but I kept digging him out. He's been through a lot with me....and it shows. :D

3) My wife is going to be building a big glass cabinet display for her My Little Pony Collection. My stuff is always in constant flux, these pics are so different from the ones taken last year. It is always evolving as I get new stuff. Stuff gets pulled down and put away as new Spawn and SW comes out. If we ever move we will for sure make customs shelves and display cases.

I just finished scrolling through all 500 pics and am just amazed.
I like the shear size of your collection (MASSIVE). Great display ideas and use of space. Very nice mix of ...well freakin everything. There is something for everyone to appreciate in that collection. Much respect to you man and thanks for sharing it with the board. One last question - does TRU call you in case they run low on stock?

:D I think it's 263 pics. Thanks for the comments. I like adding loose figs here and there for display...like the Aliens and Preds floating around. That's one thing I love about my collection is setting up the way it's displayed and stuff. I think I may mix it up a bit soon. I have a ton of older stuff in boxes that I need to get out and take pics of... Wetworks, Youngblood, Repaints, old Marvel and DC stuff, lots of goodies stashed away with no place to display. If ya saw my collection pics last year they were a lot different in terms of what was displayed this year.

tynin , everything is in my basement, stays pretty dust free with no effort.

ogie , My wife is cool. We specifically bought a house with a bsement so I could display my stuff. She has a huge MLP collection that fills our guest room and we're gonna be making display cases for some of it in the basement where my Metal Gear Solid and Alien/Predator stuff is.

omegavolt I do have TMNT figs, they are just boxed up with a bunch of other stuff. Old Marvel, Dc, Batman, etc.

Afkamm Videos are opened on the bottom. We do have a dvd player and dvds. We bought a large VHS collection right before dvds hit it big. :(

I've answered that question somewhere throughout this post....basically I've been collecting for 11+ years, no kids, have no other hobbies I spend money on, crappy stereo, one car, wife works too... Read through the posts and it's all there. Thanks for your comments Danny. :D
