CaseFresh and Figures Direct are both great. Figure Mania is alright, I've bought from there before. Depends what you are shopping for, Figures Direct and Figure Mania often have stock of items left over that CaseFresh sold out of long ago, plus CaseFresh often forces you to buy whole waves of figures if you want a Stormtrooper, mainly because of all the army-builders out there.

FigureMania has a much better selection of McFarlane, Neca, Sota, etc. Casefresh are good for Star Wars,Marvel, etc. They are both are good shops but FigureMania has more of a selection that appeals to me.

As said above, apparently they buy some of their stock from other stores, which is crazy.

I thought it was funny when something they had was $10 cheaper at Minotaur :P But I have gotten a couple of things there pretty cheap. I tend to just drop through and window shop if I'm there.

Classic Comics at the Spring st end of Bourke st is good price wise, I hear good things about Alternate Worlds on Church st (number 78 or something) but haven't been there, Minotaur on Elizabeth is alright however over priced. There is also a place called Modern Icon in HighPoint shopping centre in some suburb I don't recall the name of, they don't have much range and can be over priced, but will have new stuff in generally.
Ummm.... am I forgetting any guys?


While I'm here, I saw ML 11 in minotaur today and was thoroughly disapointed in HulkBuster IronMan. Face change from the reference pics and dodgy paint. Still gunna get it tho :P

Btw useless piece of knowledge: my dad's friend created the phantom zone franchise, shame he was forced into being a silent partner and eventually kicked out :( or at least thats what i was told, used to love getting everything free when i went to the parra Phantom Zone

this bargain toy store, had no name, had piles of The Batman, animated figs, wrestling classics and, suprise suprise NBA sportspicks for $9.99. nothing there I was interested in though.

dropped into collectors edge today to check it out. picked myself up frank the bunny.

several things i noticed:

-not the cheapest place for new stuff, but some good stuff on clearence
-sports figs, yay, the first place I have seen that stocks them. won't have to order OS now


probably will become my third port of call after the net and some local places (classic comics, alternate worlds) for figs i may miss picking up.

great place though, nice and tucked away so things probably don't sell out so quick.

hmmm, hard to say. may sure you make a worldwide listing.

I'd recomend looking up origianl art and the like on eBay and see what's selling for how much.

also, in the auction listing make sure you list EVERYTHING, this is the sort of listing people won't be able to understand just from the picture.
