I picked it and would have to disagree, i loved the issue, mainly because i love ninjas. And this Ronin guy just kicked major a**. But yeah i like finch on NA, good to have him back.

That'd be an interesting twist to have it be elektra, but of course it could be "obvious" to throw us readers off. I really don't know who it is, but it doesn't look like a chick in the Ronin costume.

Ronin actually stands for a masterless samuria warrior but they can only become ronin if there master has been killed/murdered; so i wouldn't expected whoever it is to be brownbread.
and the story line could actually refer to daredevil or the avengers being ronin something to ponder on hey?????

it seems marvel is bringing its older characters back to the foreground again.my thought on ronins identity could be shang chi.marvel brought cage,iron fist,spiderwoman, and ghost rider back,hell even dazzler is back.so why not shang chi,master of kung fu?

At first I though Ronin was just Daredevil in another costume... Murdock suddenly said he knew someone that knows everything he knows, right after Captain America said he temporarily stopped being Captain America, and the whole "knows everything that I know, same training, same fighting styles..." speech wasn't that convincing IMO...

But the guy in the meeting definately wasn't Murdock... And Murdock says he didn't know if Cap knew him... Murdock didn't say "he" or "she", so I suppose Elektra is possible (also with the Kingpin connection), but I think Cap would know Elektra.

Shang Chi actually sounds about right now that camm said it IMO... Marvel is bringing back older characters, he also has black hair like Elektra, dunno if he has the same fighting styles as Murdock but you can't tell in a comic anyway...AND Shang Chi is one of the "warriors" in the current story in Ultimate Spider-Man...

He gets my vote too :)

It was just an assumption since Dare Devil said (in the previous issue) he knew someone that could fill in for him. We then see Cap talking to someone with long black hair, but it doesn't show their face. It was assumed that this person was Elektra and that she was Ronin.

Why are you surprised? It's Bendis, he stretches everything out longer than it needs to be. That's why we're on issue 12, and the team still isn't formed.
