The conclusion to the "Ancient Chinese Secret, Huh?" storyarc - written by Marc Andreyko and illustrated by E.J. Su - hits shelves and the mystery of the "immortal" Chu Lai is finally brought to light. Sam and Twitch, come face-to-face with a "vampire" queen who definitely isn't all she appears to be.

Please share your thoughts on the events of this issue and the series as a whole...

not bad...sets up a good rear window type arc...I noticed there was no letters page...there will be another issue right?

Frankly I'm quite glad this arc is finished. Art was very poor, I filped through these pages faster and faster as the issues came out. I really did'nt dig the Vampire story and S&T, it didn't have the normal S&T feel like all the other issues had. I hope the next arc will be a lot better, I liked the pin-up the new artist did in Spawn #149. And I still don't know why McFarlane rejected Andy Lee as and artist for this book, he would have done wonderfuly after Morse.

Previews has Solicitations for the next storyline entitled "Fathers & Daughters", written by Marc Andreyko with are by Greg Scott. This issue is listed as part 5, it doesn't mention how many issues this storyarc lasts for.

They should be, the first arc done by Scott Morse is by far the best, issues 1-6. If you were to go for any Case Files issues go for those.

I must admit that I thought that the storyline was too long... 6 issues! I'm fairly sure it could have been half as long. Then again, if this came out as one TPB it probably would be a nice fast read. Sometimes that can be a lot of fun as well.
