Hurricane Katrina Victim, 1st time posting since storm + small haul

Well, I guess I'll start out by saying my wife and I ok. I did have my story and evetything typed up but some how it got skrewed up and lost. Too much to retype so here it is in a nut shell. Left Biloxi, Mississippi to Pascagoula, Mississippi. There was a BIG Flood. Everything was trashed, EVERYTHING. Couldn't go back home for TWO weeks to see if anything was left. So we went to Mobile, Alabama (BIG mistake). Finaly got to see home in Biloxi. Could not live there anymore, lost job becouse storm destroyed building, lost car to flood water. I still have some of my stuff, now in storage in Baton Rouge,Louisiana. Tryed to live there, didn't work out. Tried to get job(s) there too, didn't work out. Wife left to stay with her mother in Slidell, Louisiana. I stayed in Baton Rouge to keep trying to put life back together. DID NOT WORK. Now in Slidell with wife and the In-laws after big struggle in Baton Rouge. We're in a two story house with the first floor gutted because of flood water, but the second story is ok to live in for now. And still trying to put together a somewhat normal life again.

And now something for you people that is toy related so you can't say " Why are you posting this here, we don't care and it's not TOY related!" My small haul:
Sigma 6 Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow
4H-men MOTU Hordak Statue
And 3 ML Sentenel Series figs - Spider-Man, Omega Red, And Angel (red)(now just need to find the rest)
Had to restart my collection with something;) .

Alright, it's about 12:45 am right now, I'm going to bed, can't type anymore right now.

I feel for you. I live in Lake Charles, LA and my girlfriend and I rode out Hurricane Rita in our bathroom in our apartment. Our town got the east side of the eye of the storm so we got the worst of it. I couldn't tell you of the things I saw and heard that night....too incredible. I have some pictures I hope to get developed soon to show everything. We left several days after the hurricane hit just b/c we had no power, little water and food, we had to bathe in the apartment pool, and the heat was up to 105 in the day with lots of humidity at night. It was miserable. We stayed in Shreveport for a week. We just were allowed to come back to our home 2 days ago and our apartment held out fine. Although most of the town did not. A lot of my friends have lost most of everything and most businesses will never reopen. I am from Florida originally and have been through a lot of hurricanes but never the eye of one. I am glad to be moving back there next year. Good luck on your job hunt, man. I wouldn't recommend here to find one for a while as it's trashed beyond belief as well. Take care.

Thanks for your kind words everyone. I'm ok on money, I always have it when I need it so it isn't realy a strugle for that. More so for a desent job. Everyone here in Slidell is Hireing but the pay isn't the greatest. We are definatly getting better by the day. As fare a seeing some messed up stuff, I've seen my fare share of it.
And as far as those pics of the things from my haul, don't count on seeing any. My camera was lost. And I just got the blasted thing.
