View Full Version : Best boxset ever! -which one was it-

To be honest with you Mcfarlans box sets have never really blown me away.... so what are your guys favorites...

I own the cygore vs spawn box set- which kind of started this whole madness, but as time rolled bye, it has fallen to one of my least liked pieces.

One the otherhand I LOVE my Creech boxset even though hes really just the same size as everbody else, I still like it and at least hes solid plastic.

Overtkill III Deluxe Boxed Figure from Spawn Series 20 is my favorite. :)

But I also like very much the Spawn 7 from Spawn Series 21, the Bride of Chucky Deluxe Boxed Set and The Creech Boxed Figure.

The Alien Vs. Predator boxset was amazing but my absolute favourite was Crow Vs. Top Dollar with the Crow Reflections right behind it.

I don't think Crow vs. Top Dollar or Reflections boxed sets counts as a McFarlane boxed set, although they really were nicely done, when you can find sets with good paintjobs.

The Alien and Predator, Alien Queen, and Neo in Chateau boxed sets are among my favorites.

The Metallica boxed set is the best ever. It's the only music boxed set that actually has sound and flashing lights.

The Jaws boxset is my favorite McFarlane figure ever. Actually I have like three favorite McFarlane figures ever, but the Jaws set is definitely one of them.

PS: Do you like my new sig? I was getting tired of looking at Our Great Leader searching for weapons of mass destruction in his nose.

You know, I'm also starting to think it woulda been alot better since they didn't stay entirely true to the cover and the way his head is pushed into the collar, you can't really appreciate the ham-head.

I gotta go with my MM 5 AVP box set. The JAWS boxed set is very detailed though so it's hard to say.

Hoarding Alley Vipers is the ONLY way to appreciate them fully. :D

And if not for Alley Vipers i'd probably be hoarding Night Vipers.

Speaking of that devil, Hasbro used his entire mold minus head for the new convention figure.

Why the hell haven't they done a repaint then!?!! :mad::(:cool:

That's funny. Those are my 2 favorite Vipers of all time :D. They havnt dont a repaint cuz there to busy with Smagma 6 ;):D.

but of course, i'll always have a soft spot for the kaneda boxset ever since i lost kaneda(but not the bike) when i moved. and in my missing and remembering him, my fondness has grown to the extent that i think i'll always think of him now as the best boxset.
