OT: Name the 5 worst commercials you've seen this year

Seeing as how I enjoy watching and Futurama and CSI and what have you, there is a LOT OF BAD COMMERCIALS ON TV! Name the 5 worst you've ever seen

1. The cel phone commercial with all these "hip" people break dancing. Why is it bad? The commercial could have less to do with cel phones and more to do with some moron who thinks his cowboy hat is in style. Also, the guy at the end that says some unintelligable word, followed by "yaa-owww!". Just lame.

2. Lifestyles Condom. Here we see some guy and some chick standing in front of a green background (a green screen!), After some stupid sound effects, their heads catch on fire whilst holding the condom and corny 50's movie screams are heard as they smile at each other and the word "Dramatization" goes across the screen, as if we thought the Diablo 2 graficced fire on their head was real.

3. That Much Music cel phone commercial with the "adult meeting". What the hell does it all mean? An old guy talking about music leading to dancing, then dancing to touching while a man sarcastically says "Save us". So they're trying to advertise their product with a bunch of boring parents protesting the damn product, and a guy at the end saying "Uhh...it's a Much Music phone!". Wow...just...wow.

4. The SUV/car commercial in which a man runs out of his house and jumps only to reveal his house on a high up cliff, a few thousand feet, only to show him parachute down and get into his car. That's all fine and dandy, but it has less to do with a car, and how he gets back up to his house I don't quite know..

5. All the Budweiser commercials that try to do the "Never-lies friend" or the "always-makes excuses friend" or "the forgetful friend". None of them are funny. No one has friends like those at all.

That's called FOX. Any beer commercial, or Much Music/MTV commercial is just bad. Plus when I wait for the SLOW AND SHlTTY tv guide channel to go through like 6 channels a minute (by the time i find out what channel a good show is on I have 5 minutes to watch it), there's this preview for "Rome" thats been going on TWO MONTHS!! And the horrible music, one liners, and the "awww-ing choir" PISSES ME OFF!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

i hate the ones that try to be all artsy fartsy and you can't even tell what they're selling

or the commecials that are so friggin' cutesy they only appeal to old housewives

i especially hate the ones that are just a bunch of people dancing with some crappy music playing,then at the very end they show a quick shot of the product

I hate all the ringtone commercials where they have Baby got back and like 2 other things at a time. The worst is that thing called Jamster which I think also goes by crazy frog or something. It was really bad on the net too as when the page would load and it would, at 400 decibels, scream DINGDIHDING DING DINNNNNGDING WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I finally blocked the site it was hosted on and that was the end of that mess.

There was also some loan company commercial where they repeat the phone number about 15 times while it shows a blue background with same number displayed. Y'know, if I didn't catch it the first 5 times the guy repeats it or see it on the screen, I could probably catch it one of the other 56 times a day the commercial airs.

There's also one where the screen is black the whole time with a phone number, but you can hear a)a guy snoring b) some bad saxophone music and c) a land lord screaming "open up, gimme da rent... hey I know ya in dere, c'mon gimmee da rent" etc.. This is probably also for that same loan company mentioned above.

Also a carpet commercial where a baby is screaming raw and shrill for a good 20 seconds then the father lays the baby on the oh so luxurious carpet which causes that darling child to shut the #^&* up.

I'm also tired of seeing the girls gone wild commercials which also play all the friggin time. "Watch these 2 sleazy guys and a camcorder make tons of money while these hot honeys throw their sense of self respect and reputation out the window for not one thin dime!"

I'll probably think of more later but yeah those are the first that come to mind.

That sour Skittles commercial where some kind of milking machine is attached to a fat human guy... what the **** is that? Is being completely revolted and disgusted supposed to make me want to buy some Skittles? I like Skittles, I will buy them now and then regardless of advertisements, but making me tempted to lose my lunch with a gross commercial doesn't make me eager to buy more Skittles.

Those "Text JOKE to 187398725" commercials or anything like it. I don't know who actually falls for that crap. Yeah, let's text your number, get some godawfully bad ringtone or joke or whatever every day, and end up being locked into some unbreakable contract for $40 a month for that crap.

That new Taco Bell commercial where people bite into a burrito and then pull back and there's this giant string of CGI cheese hanging off of it. Maybe it's just me, but that looks disgusting to me, like the burrito is full of gross inedible cheese.
