Does anyone know where or what Greg is currently doing? Last I heard there were health issues he was dealing with,a rockie situation with his wife and some a- hole hacking his site.
Havn't heard anything since.

well, his marriage is no more, his page was closed, and i guess that from now on he's going to dedicate himself to do cover for the CaseFiles: Sam & Twitch, he was also said to be in talks to do a Creech movie, but no big deal. Also, he will now do Spawn covers only occasionally, since Phillip Tan has been asigned full-time

Boogeyman, don't worry about it and thank you for the info..
I can't believe that Greg has gone from doing such a wonderful job on the "important"
title from TMP to Covers on the side book...and yes i said this- Phillip Tan in no way will
be able to top the quality of Greg's worksmanship. I'm not saying Phillips not talented , I am saying that it just will not compare.
thanks again,
TK

we're still stuck in the whole "he's not greg" s hit. i like greg's work alot, but just leave him be. if you look at spawn issue 50, greg's work and todd's lookalmost the same. so that makes greg, basically, a two bit McFalane. i'm convinced, if Todd came back on the book, with some made up name, you all wpuld hate it. as i said before i like greg's stuff, but please, shut up about him.

ah jeez, sore spot anyone?
Greg's and Todd's art looking the same? No, you couldn't be more wrong with that.

i said almost the same. gregs style was total different untill he started to draw with Todd. then it became what we see today. read issues 16-20, then read ever other spawn book with greg alone and compare it to some of the later McFarlane art. you will find many simulartes

Greg's style in the beginning was flavors of Jim Lee, of course when you work with someone or for someone over the years you are bound to take away from that persons style which yes Greg did do with Todd.
However Todd is very much cartoonish with loose flaring and yet heavy laden lines...
Greg was somewhat cartoonish with tight attention to detail and a solid eye for design,
his pages for the most part had panels that would blend in and out of each other.

Greg is the man. He did the Disturbed CD art for Ten Thousand Fistsand if you go to disturbed1.com, it's like a Greg Capullo art fest. He is also doing the covers for all of the Baltimore Ravens home games plus helping out on the toy side of things. So he's pretty busy. I think he's aight.

Hi Rachel,
thanks for the info on Mr.G, I was beginning to wonder about him as I hear he will not be doing spawn covers down the road.
On a different note- did we happen to meet years back at a convention in Vancouver..
What I should say - were you there with Al Simmons & Bob for the last convention in Van,
I think it was '98. Your name is familiar- I believe I have one of your business cards.
thanks again,,

Carlitos- thanks man ;)
