Then, of course, next Wednesday (Oct. 26th) will mark the release of SPAWN (http://www.spawn.com/comics/series.aspx?series_id=1) #150 (http://www.spawn.com/comics/comic.aspx?bookid=1-150-13-0) and while I have a few teasers that I will be sharing with you next week, today I have a look at Todd’s inks for his cover (http://www.spawn.com/comics/SPAWN/monthly/images/spawn_comic_cover_150a_cl.jpg) to issue #150 (http://www.spawn.com/comics/comic.aspx?bookid=1-150-13-0)…

Hiya folks!

It's a big day for our NHL collectors, and NHL Legends 3 photography will be unveiled in our NEWS section. I'm a big fan of this lineup, with Gretzky making his Rangers debut, Bobby Orr getting his first-ever McFarlane figure, Tony Esposito and Frank Mahovlich joining their brothers in the Sports Picks universe, and Don Cherry adding a little grit to the series.

For today's preview, it's the other half of our 12-inch NHL lineup, commemorating recent Stanley Cup victories.

Look for the 12-inch Yzerman figure as well as the 12-inch Martin Brodeur figure to arrive on shelves in late November. You can find detailed photography of both figures today in our NEWS section as well.

That's all for today!

couldnt they just print a blank and white version, no offence to the colorist, he always does a good job, but that streaky glowy effect i dont really like at all
other than that, i think todds art is flawless

I'm always a big fan of the inked version of covers but I really think the colors made this one better. As in it hid what was fundamentally wrong with Spawn's anatomy, or at least distracted you from it. The spikes are one thing (which have been bugging me since I saw this pice) but the incorrect proportions on his left arm really get to me now, I don't know why his left bicep is so angular. Don't get me wrong I love Todd's work, but I just wish he put more time into this one.
