Anyone else enjoying this comic as much as me? Wow! Go Frank Miller and Jim Lee. Jim Lee is doing a amazing job :eek:

Also the I recommend everyone to get INFINITE CRISIS!

Spawn #150 is almost here! lots of good comics all at once gotta love it :)

All-Star Batman sucks. The art is great, as it always is with Jim Lee, but the writing is horrible. I heard that Frank Miller is being kicked off after issue 3.

really!?!? hrmm I thought it was good.... :) if frank gets kicked (which is shocking) who will take his spot? The only thing I didnt like about the comic is the repeating... "They will catch me!" "They will catch me!" ... its like ok I get it .. stop saying it now.

Jim's art is the same as it ever was, but I like it.

Franks writing is atrocious. I've dropped the book until A) the next arc with a new writer or B) they lose Frank.

I can't recommend everyone get Infinite Crisis because if you're not a DC fan it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

me personally i like All Star Batman boy wonder but found Inifinte Crisis # 1 a bit of a let down hopefully it will pick up in # 2.

I also reallt like All Star Batman, and I'll be extremely surprised if they kick Frank Miller off the book. The whole point of the All Star line was to "re-imagine" classic characters without the constraints of continuity. And who better to reinvent Batman than the same guy who reinvented him TWICE back in the 80s? And so what if this Batman is an abusive jerk? It's a different take on the character, which is exactly what DC promised. And like always, if you don't like it, don't buy it.:rolleyes:

Ghost is right on Infinite Crisis; I'm not a DC follower, so it was all mumbo-jumbo to me! Note to self: stop buying books just because Jim Lee did the cover; gosh, freakin' idiot!

Anybody getting sick of Michael Turner covers? The Aspen/Fathom books have really hot covers, but somebody else always does the interiors! Is he penciling anything nowadays, or is he just a cover ***** now?

Subject change: Anyone see Diamond doesn't have Spawn 150 on its tentative list for 10/25? Would anyone be surprised if 150 doesn't ship this week?

Id take Jim Lee over Turner anyday. I hope they dont take Frank off All star Batman. Do people really piss and moan about Batman being an abusive Jerk? If so hahahahahaha I think its awsome that Frank chose to do that with batman.

personally i dont really like all star batman, if it doesnt turn around and have some sort of basis on it soon then ill probably drop it, i have faith in frank miller

i mean issue 2...a flying car? comon...***

they kind of turned batman into the bad vigilante instead of the good vigilante so far, where as batman would usually go out of his way to save some cops, (even if they were corrupt he would rather put them in jail then murder them) to running over an entire squad with his flying car

i personally would had like to have seen them start it right from the beggining(note the ultimate spider man influence) of both batman and robin, but separate characters before they turned into vigilantes and before they met, starting with a base to build from, but maybe they will flash back or something, i dont know anymore

Yes. After #2 came out, people were like "Oh my heavens! Batman slaps Robin and calls him a brat! This comic has forever scarred my delicate sensibilities! How dare DC actually deliver on a promise and make this Batman different from other versions?"

I find both of them to be pretty overrated. Lee deserves some of the praise he gets. Turner? Not so much.

i like allstars sofar, theres only 2 issues out isnt there?
its better than any of the other batman titles that ive been reading, and im not even a huge jim lee fan. am i the only one that like miller's writing?

Lee no cause he only comes back to do a few issues at a time Like hush and his work with superman. And both were amazing. But Turner he is still doing that soulfire comic i just picked up issue 5 and issue 6 im still waiting for. But i can tell that Turner is the new Tod

i actually like allstar batman and robin. Batman is only being hard on the kid to make him strong so he will be able to take it. i mean this insn't the f ucking 40's. things have to change. plus Frank Miller is writing it. like everything he writes has flaws in it but are still awesome. such Batman vs Spawn. the word punk was said an ezcessive amount of times.

There's a small detail tho....
A HUGE DETAIL I'd say... hehe
when I got the 2 issues of All Star Batman and Robin the wonder gir-- I mean boy.... first issue, well we see Bruce Wayne on a DATE with another Gotham *****. anyway.. next issue we see Batman, (imitating Clint Eastwood?, common!). kidnapping Robin. So.. he is on a date all shaven up and just the minute he puts on his Batman costume: facial hair starts growing.. WOW

maybe you already notice it, whats up with that... thats a MAJOR blooper for me...

Just to let you know that woman he was with has been in the batman comics for a long damn time.

LOL!! Batman slaps Robin and calls him a brat????? Ive been wanting to do that since Ive seen Robin on the pages of a Batman comic. Whats this Batman run called, All-Star Batman? Dude, Frank Miller & Jim Lee, couple of awesome BAtman writers/artists, got together to make my fantasy come alive, I must get this now.

People are complaining about Batman being a ****? Hasnt he always been one? Especially in the trade paperback Venom, he was a total ******, it was sweet, I cant imagine a puffy, happy-go-lucky Batman, grittiness is always cooliness.
