Has anyone ever sent off a comic to be cgc graded?

im think about it but im scared in case i do something wrong and get it lost in the post

yep sure have 54 of the buggers and has you can see i'm in the uk well i haven't sent them all off myself.
local comic shop owner is doing it now he charges 15quid a comic that's postage out grading and postage back works out cheap if your sending more than 5 comics.

here's a few tips for you
i always taped comic bags to pieces of cardboard to give extra rigidty and put layer of bubblewrap in between two comics.
so i had cardboard, comic in bag with backing board, bubblewarp, comic then cardboard.
i then tapped the whole thing so it looked like a brick then put that inside another box with polystirene bits in so no movement.
when you post it out make sure you've got insurance don't cost that much extra but it does if you go through DHL or one of the other big companys.
i used a little air frieght company never let us down yet.
your insurance at cgc and postage back is included inprice cgc give you.
don't send it to the P.O.box number on cgc website it will get sent back (security)

if youre afraid of it getiing lost have a delivery confirmed or get it insured.

ive had lesser protection with comics in the mail, which ended badly. better safe than sorry
