Has anyone heard of this? ..... Women's Entertainment grabbing right to air N&S.
if so have you heard of airtimes?

NED & STACY (FOX)/THE NAKED TRUTH (NBC) - WE: Women's Entertainment has snagged the rights to the short-lived comedies, both of which come from Sony Pictures Television. "Ned & Stacey," which starred a then unknown Debra Messing ("Will & Grace"), lasted from September 1995 to January 1997 on FOX and produced 46 episodes. "The Naked Truth," toplined by Tea Leoni, started on ABC in September 1995 before jumping to NBC the following season, where it lasted through June 1998. In total 55 half-hours of "Truth" were completed. WE plans to strip both series beginning Monday, October 20 with "Truth" at 6:30/5:30c and "Ned" at 7:30/6:30c. Current staple "Two Guys and a Girl" will anchor the block at 6:00/5:00c and 7:00/6:00c. Both "Truth" and "Ned" were previously stripped on USA when the network ran daytime sitcom repeats.

FInally grabbed Ned & Stacey on DVD- they had it for 2 weeks & then went on sale...down from $40 Can. to $20


Just spent 3.5 hrs. on the first 8 episodes.

Pretty good show from what I remember. USA network was playing it in syndication a few years back, but haven't seen it recently.

It was My Favorite sitcom from that year!
My part of Canada never got the USANetwork so I was unable to see Season 2 after
January of that year.

That show was pretty funny. I hated to see it end. I liked it more than Will & Grace. Actually, it pretty much is the original Will & Grace (minus the ga.y aspect)

So so true, this sitcom was so damn funny! I remember an episode where Stacy's boss came to their apartment and Ned had to play up the whole 'husband" role. Thomas Hayden Church (in character) was telling some elaborate story made up on the fly while he was (I think) tickling Stacy on the couch. You could clearly see Debra Messing trying to hold in a monsterous laugh to maintain character and the filmed take. Moments like those I remember so clearly as well as their neighbors that made the show like a modern Honeymooners.

Will & Grace is the homo (TMP won't allow the word "g-a-y") non-funny version of the superb Ned & Stacy show.

HOO-ray.
I've missed a few episodes though So I hope they repeat them!

Just checking an online Episode guide I've missed the 1st 6 episodes from S2.... AAAAAHHHHH :eek:
