Since we have a thread asking about comic artists...

I'd suspect they'd get a decent amount, same as artists.

And Writers have bugger oportunities... example: many writers from Marvel have gotten to work on story and script for Marvel Games.

I'd imagine writers don't get paid as much per comic as artists. They don't have to put nearly as much time and effort in, and they can work on more than one titles a month.

comic writers get PAID?!?

wow.

i'm gonna have to look into that ;)

so far, producing comics has only COST me money. hopefully that'll change with Runes of Ragnan.

SERIOUSLY: My guess is around $20-$30 a page of script. That could be way off, but I seem to remember that # from somewhere. As someone mentioned, a lot less than the artist. that gap is made even larger due to the fact that the artists also get to sell the original pages of artwork (unless some other deal has been made).

notes on napkins, oddly enough, don't sell. trust me, i've tried to trade them for alcohol with devestating results.
