We all have those guilty pleasure songs in our music collection. (You know you do).
Let's hear what you got. And you have to inlcude if you copied it from a CD or if you downloaded it from iTunes or something. Reason is, you deserve a little more ribbing if you paid for a crappy song. :D
I'll kick things off with a few on mine:
(All are from CDs)
Mr.Roboto - Styx
When the Children Cry - White Lion
Wait - White Lion
From iTunes:
Humpty Dance - Digital Underground
Bust a Move - Young MC
Shamrock

You have nothing to be ashamed of by having Mr. Roboto on your iPod. I will proudly rock out to that song.
I'm most ashamed of the Bob Dylan tunes on my iPod. Not that I really have anything against Dylan's music. I just hate hippies :D

Nothing which embarrasses me, just my friends. Even most of my metal friends, all the power metal stuff sets them off into a frenzy of embarrassment. it doesn't help that I try to sing it all the time.

Dear lord, way too many to list! Here's a sample:
Unbelievable - EMF
Too Shy - Kajagoogoo
You Spin Me Round - Dead or Alive
Everybody Have Fun Tonight - Wang Chung
Come On Eileen - Dexys Midnight Runners
Here Comes the Hotstepper - Ini Kamoze
Let's Go All the Way - Sly Fox
etc., etc.
The thing is, personally I'm not "embarrassed" to like them.... though I do realize that, objectively, many people find them ridiculous! :p

I don't own an ipod simply because...well I drive everywhere. That being said in my car cd player, and downloaded onto my computer I have "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera....many of you probably remember this song from Karate Kid.
That being said I'm not embarrassed about the song what-so-ever....it's quality music. But I'm pretty sure someone will make fun of the song so I figured it's worth noting. Oh and I have the essential journey cd burned into my xbox360. So when I'm killing nazi's in Call of Duty 2 I'm generally listening to "don't stop believin". Weird part is I like r&b and hiphop...but Journey crosses all musical boundries.

If you drive everywhere, you should buy an Ipod! I've got a car adapter, and it's great. No more lugging CD's around and having to switch CD's, all of your music is in one place.

I spent a heck of alot of money on a sound system for my car so I've got the disk changer in and everything. I only need so many songs in the car at any given time anyways. I don't know I just never saw the need for an ipod....seems like every christmas I'm asked "so you want an Ipod"....and sure it always sounds great but I really honestly could never use it....I'd get like 15 minutes out of it and it would never see the light of day ever again

Nothing Embarassing to me. Mostly Final Fantasy music. If no one thinks that is cool. I could careless. The guy that makes the music for the Final Fantasy games and movies is awesome. He makes some of the best music.
I also have the Sound tracks to Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy, because I like that song the Dophins sing. The Stealth Score, becasue BT makes great music.
I have various Lacuna Coil songs, Iced Earth cd, the new System of a Down cd, and the James Bond song for each movie.
I also have a bunch of the Pillows, who are a Rock/Pop band in Japan. I love the stuff they have on the Fooly Cooly cd so I got some of there other stuff. Some is good others bad.

I would say the most Embarassing thing I had on my Ipod was R Kelly Trapped in the Closet chapters 1-12. It was on there so I could listen to them then I took it off. Now I have the DVD for his commentary. Oh my god that commentary is a riot. I couldnt stop laughing.

You ever hear KoRn's version of that song? Not bad, if you like the original. I have Korn's version on my iPod, and I too liked it back in the 80's

dont have an ipod... but anything close to embarassing in my cd collection would be purple rain- prince. Just because its not my typical KISS or 80's hairband cd. :D
and no warrant, whitesnake, white lion, or no hairband is embarrassing unless its Nelson.. then we have a problem. :P

You're not alone on that one. I just read something the other day about how that album is one of the best selling albums of all-time. Sold something lile 20 million copies, or something. So there are quite a few people out there with it too.

I don't know why I'm telling internet strangers this top secret information, but I guess if others share their 'shame songs,' then I will, too.
All are iTunes downloads:
Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood
Careless Whisper by George Michael:rolleyes: The sorrow in his voice sounds so convincing imo
Promiscuous by Nelly (Someone)
Owner of a Lonely Heart (after I saw the hilarious scene from Break-Up )
Final Countdown by Europe (inside joke with my best friend)
Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguilera (because I like the way she says "bad@$$")
I can't think of any others, so I guess that's the lot of him.
For the record, Mr. Roboto is awesome. Yes, I have that one too, but not embarassed about it.

The part that Wacko Jacko sings is the only reason that song is any good, imo.

Okay, I'll fess up. This is so embarassing that I was too embarassed to list it the first time I posted here. I've got The Carpenters Greatest Hits on my Ipod. I know the songs are sappy, but I've always had a thing about Karen Carpenter's voice.

Down Under
Traveling in a fried-out combie
On a hippie trail, head full of zombie
I met a strange lady, she made me nervous
She took me in and gave me breakfast
And she said,
"Do you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Buying bread from a man in Brussels
He was six foot four and full of muscles
I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"
He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich
And he said,
"I come from a land down under
Where beer does flow and men chunder
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
Lying in a den in Bombay
With a slack jaw, and not much to say
I said to the man, "Are you trying to tempt me
Because I come from the land of plenty?"
And he said,
"Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)
Where women glow and men plunder?
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You better run, you better take cover."
I have the whole Justin Timberlake CD (which is pretty good), Maroon 5 CD, Mika CD (Verizon commercial). Probably missing some...
