Oblivion is not high on my list anymore.

I snuck into an open door that is usually locked in one of the Mages Guild halls. Well, the door closed, and I couldn't get out. I waited, and finally the guy appeared to go to sleep. I broke all of my lockpicks trying to escape, couldn't travel - I was stuck. So, I had to try and pickpocket the key from him. Well, he caught me, and it sent me outside of the building automatically. Now I have to find Dragons Tongue and/or something else (redflower maybe?) to get back in.

I had a hell of a time getting promoted to Swordsman in the fighters guild. I went to the ship to get the ectoplasm, and it took about 10 tries.


Bwahahaha.....sounds similar to my first charater I played....after about 25 hours put into him....I did something incredibly stupid on the very last quest for the thieves guild and basically was stuck with never ever being able to complete the quest. So I had to restart another character.

As far as lockpicks....until i get the unbreakable one....I make sure I usually carry at least 40 at all times. Never know when you'll need one (or 20) to open something.

Also Sbells I've had the exact same problem before. During a thieves guild quest I got greedy and stole 2 rings instead of one. Then saved myself into a corner where I couldn't progress any further in the thieves guild. Had to start all over.

That happened to me as well. I was in the cave trying to find that guy for the Skingrad recommendation quest. Well I always loot all the caves I go in. So I was just opening chests that I found. Well I guess one of them was from the dude from the Mage's Guild, so it said I stole from the Mages Guild and got kicked out. I had to find 20 or 25 Dragons Tounge and Redflower to get back in. I hated that, it took me forever to find enough to get back in.

Ah, Elder Scrolls. There were times in Morrowind where you would do something you shouldn't and completely ruin the chance at completing a main quest storyline. Alas, I haven't gotten far enough in Oblivion yet to have one of these opportunities. :D

in my defense i've never ignored an invite. there have been times when i've gotten an invite and haven't been able to join, but i've always messaged one of the participants to explain why i was unavailable :o

actually, its not even a lockpick, its a skeleton key. And it raises your security by +40 Im up to 78. Its one of the easiest quests Ive encountered. easy to find as well. The trolls were a pain to kill, so I just ran past them all. Now, I keep getting arrested for sneaking into houses, so i can pick the locks

I am stuck on a quest for the Mages Guild right now. It is the one with the pillar that you have to use the four spells on. I have a fire spell, frost spell, sever magicka, and fortify magicka, but the fortify magicka doesnt seem to work. I tried the scrolls in the chest but I guess I messed up the order so I cant use those anymore. I somehow need a spell that will work for the fortify magicka part of the pillar. I guess I need to find a spell that casts fortify magicka on someone else but dont know where to get one.

I wish I would've bought Marvel UA when it was on sale for $39.99 around Xmas time. I convinced myself not to, since I got almost all the way through the first 3 acts when I had rented it during December. However, it is still a fun game. I even spent extensive time trying to get the various costumes for characters...even if some of them weren't the ones I would've chosen. Plus, I now have another local friend here who has joined the "360 Family", and he got Marvel UA. Whoa is me. ;)

Now that I'm finally dedicating myself to Oblivion more-or-less exclusively (After overcoming my "fear" of becoming single-minded in my Elder Scrolls gaming, thanks to Morrowind :D ), I have a question. I wish for no other spoilers, but I must know this:



**SPOILERS, OBVIOUSLY**



I was approached by Lucien to join the Dark Brotherhood after completing the Arena questline. I ended up defeating the Gray Prince after finding out the truth behind his bloodline. As such, he didn't even defend himself in the Arena, which counted it as a murder, apparently. After completing my training levels when I beat him, I decided to sleep to level up. Well, along comes Lucien, and I get the offer. I told him I'd think about it for now, but I'm mostly worried that joining the Brotherhood will affect my chances and/or membership in other guilds. Should I be fearful if I intend to continue down the Mages Guild questline (Or any other in the future, for that matter)? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give. I don't want any story spoilers, just whether or not it'll screw me up in the other guilds. Thanks!!

Sorry for not getting back to you the other night Tat.

My home network is kinda complex and right now I have my 360 setup after my Voip router which seems to be causing problems. I'm lucky when I can get 2 games in a row going without disconnecting. I'm gonna do some trouble shooting maybe today and try and get the 360 set up on a different subnet away from the Voip.

Been having this problem for a while, but with all the people coming over to play with the Wii the 360 kinda got put on the back burner. I'm also going through a seperation with my wife which will likely lead to a divorce at this point.... some of you might know what that can be like lol.

In the future if I don't reply its probably cause I'm already with some friends or family. This system is great for keeping in touch with people you know that no longer live in the same postal code. And these days I haven't had much time to play the 360 which sucks cause I have a lot of games now ;) ...but when I do play I usually reserve it for them. But for sure sometime I'll hit up some gaming with you guys.

I haven't found that doing the dark brotherhood has affected my other guilds. Now if you are going to be a mage and then do the thieves guild do the mages guild first since one of the thieves guild quests is to steal something from the mages guild.

Pyro...it will not stop you from joining any of the other guilds...including the thieves one. Your "infamy" will rise with each bad act (murdering your targets) you commit turning your character to a more evil sided one. That's all.

I finally got Gears. I played it for an hour or so till my daughter got home and I had to shut it off (I'm responsible like that :D) I'm sure I'm in the minority but my early opinion is that I prefer Lost Planet. Though I'm sure Gears will grow on me.

The Dark Brotherhood will not hurt your chances in any guild what-so-ever as long as you don't get caught doing anything you do. You can murder 50 people and never face any reprocussions as long as doors were closed behind you and no one heard.

My best advice to you is to boost up your fame before you start taking on a ton of infamy quests. Infamy is something that can hurt you in the long run (mainly being able to not heal diseases at churches - but you can if you have the vile lair expansion)....it's always nice to be more famous then you are hated. So I personally went Arena, Mages, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves, and now I'm finally on fighters guild. Arena and Mages allowed me to have a nice pool of fame, DB and Thieves basically evened it out completely and now Fighters guild is giving me more and more fame.

Also nothing says you can't join the dark brotherhood then just not do the quests until you are ready...remember theres no time limit. Just remember don't do 2 quest lines at once...crossing the streams could result in a very bad thing....1 at a time like I've done and I didn't run into any problems what-so-ever.

If you rise to the top of the mages guild you can always create a strong charm spell to offset some of the personality issues.

your console should come with a free trial month of Gold

but several boardies here should have some 48-hr trial codes to give you to get you started. I would offer you some but I don't have any at all. Trust me though, once you go gold, you won't want to be without it if you plan to play games online at all.

What Tat2 said... I initially just signed up for Silver as my free 3 month trial hadn't arrived from MS yet (part of the premium bundle at the time). It automaticially bumped me to a month of gold. :)

Playing on Live with buddies is so much fun. I'm lucky enough to have a couple of distinct groups of friends on live (one being these bunch of boardies). Playing the games themselves is fun, but adding the online just adds that much more to the gaming experience IMO no matter what system you're on (360, PS3, PC)

I am addicted to Crackdown. Definitly buying it when it comes out. I find it very entertaining. Just the other day I bought Lost Planet to hold me over. That's been pretty fun. Everyone should give LP and Crackdown a chance.

but several boardies here should have some 48-hr trial codes to give you to get you started. I would offer you some but I don't have any at all. Trust me though, once you go gold, you won't want to be without it if you plan to play games online at all.

Anyone have some top 5 lists for 07? IGN just did theirs recently, and I think it would be cool to see what everyone here is looking forward to. Not to mention, who knows what the latter half may have in store, as usually there are a few surprises.

Mine's like this, with the recent announcement of UT3 going 360...

5. The Darkness - Still not much out there on this but it is by the guys who made Chronicles of Rid**** - should be awesome.

4. Halo 3 - Shocking, I know. But while I loved Halo 1, I've once again become incredibly bored about halfway through Halo 2. The multiplayer has just never grabbed me, for some reason - Maybe H3 will change that. I'm still a huge fan of 1 though, so my hopes are sky high.

3. Unreal Tournament 3 - Yeah, I know, I don't like Halo 2 multiplayer but then this is here. Consider this just mad respect for Epic. Gears of War Online has already grown a bit stale to me - Too many ******s on my team, so I only want to play with friends. Now with UT3, I can just do some good old fashioned FFA, and do it on the beautiful Unreal Engine 3.0. Count me in!

2. Bioshock - The original reason I bought a 360 in the first place. I'm a bit nervous, now, though, as it looks a bit more basic then I had hoped. More FPS then RPGish, I was hoping for an innovative combo. But its more of a minor concern then a major drop (hence why its at 2).

1. Mass Effect - It looks just grand. Huge scale, awesome sounding design elements, visually stunning - and has Bioware EVER disappointed? This has easily shot to #1 for me.

Missed the cut - Guitar Hero 2 (only because I know exactly whats coming), Turok (since its from a brand new developer, I'm skeptical - but I love killin me some Dino's), Alan Wake (next year?), Forza 2 (not enough info), GTA4 (series has gone stale), and Half Life 2 - Orange Box (definately going to get it but we know exactly whats inside).

5. SpiderMan 3: Wide open NYC to sling around :D Plus Venom should be cool.

5) Forza 2 - Closest thing we'll get to Gran Turismo. May even turn out on par or better if the info is correct.

4) The Alan Wake Project - It just looks beautiful. Resident Evil meets Silent Hill.

I know that the Blitz series has never been anything I'd call a "great" sports game, but they've always been fun, at the very least. I never played the version for the regular Xbox, but, would the 360 version be worth $23? It's on sale this week at Circuit City:

I played the original Xbox version when I gave you the recommendation. Now that I bought the 360 version, I see why it's $23. I couldn't tell the difference in the graphics at all except for that they now support 1080i, but they still look like Xbox graphics. Really, the only differences would be slightly faster loading times and the addition of Romanowski. Wait, there's more!!! These Xbox graphics still find a way to slow down at times, ouch!! With all that said, I still recommend the game as long as you don't own the original Xbox version and can get it for $23. It's fun, but not more than $23 worth of fun. By the way, Lawrence Taylor a.k.a. Quentin Sands from the New York Nightmare is back to a Tecmo Super Bowl level of dominance. It's almost cheating to use him.

The Nyko adapter will be out soon so that you can play Guitar Hero and DDR on PS3. It's pretty annoying right now since I gave my PS2 away and can't play Guitar Hero.

I don't think it was the chainsawing....but moreso the means of the chainsawing. Lets face it....dvinny is not very sneaky....he pretty much runs in a straight line right at you. It was getting frustrating that he could do that....run straight at you...with his chainsaw going.....you shoot him a few times (which is supposed to lower his chainsaw anyways).....and not only does he not go down.....but he gets to chainsaw you as well. But I had no problem with dvinny chainsawing....to be honest...and I'm sure chugga can vouch......that might have been the first time I've ever seen dvinny lead a side with kills. He was seeming to enjoy it....so it's all good.

It's going to be hard to place some of the games off of the list, but here is my narrowed-down "Top 5":

5)Assassin's Creed---Welcome the next-gen version of Prince of Persia's gameplay to the Xbox360, as well as to the era of the Crusades. Ubisoft has not let me down with their PoP installments on the Xbox, and I don't expect to be letdown here.

4)Fuzion Frenzy 2---I loved the first one, and now I can play this one against people online, as well as the people who come over to play? Sign me up.

3)Halo 3----Is there a need to say anything?

2)Grand Theft Auto IV---The next installment from Rockstar. Let's hope the game keeps adding new innovations...and I don't just mean graphical improvements, which aren't important in a GTA game.

Tat, don't worry man. When I started playing with the fellas I felt like I was in slow motion. I got waxed more than a hungarian stripper. Now, after a few games I feel like I can at least compete. The two biggest things I learned were to remember to get the active reload and aim for the knees. No one sucks, thats the point. There were rounds when I had no kills, but played well for my team, keeping people busy until chugga could decap them.

Last night the team I was on had GREAT communication. We worked together very well, except for Dvinny and his chainsaw massacre. Hard to cover a guy who charges the crowd, but his evil laugh was killing me.

Yeah dude DVinny had quite possibly one of the funniest evil laughs known to man, basically because it was his regular laugh. In classic dvinny voice "dude I think they're mad I'm using the chainsaw" and then for like 30 seconds straight he busts out in this deep I'm going to rule the world type laugh and the rest of our team couldn't help but to laugh too.

I mean you just knew it was a strange night when DVINNY was ruling the leaderboards. Chainsaws were definately in full effect last night....I remember before we switched teams DVINNY caught me with it like 3 times. I remember in the clocktower map someone almost made my head explode because they started chainsawing me WHILE I was shooting them with the shotgun and WHILE they were looking in the complete opposite direction. I mean you were looking at someone else and beep-beep-beep- it was locked on.

And in defense of the sniper rifle, it takes some true patience to make that weapon work. I'm not one of the active reload guys that wants to down you with it. I go for heads only....and heads in comparison to bodies are so tiny.

Thats how I feel about the bow chugga. The last time we played before last night I had 3 kills with the bow in the first game. Then you hear someone from the other team say that using the bow is weak. He then immediately goes for the bow in the next game and can't get anyone with it. chased me around missing. Sniper rifle is MUCH easier then the bow though. The sniper rifle makes no sound....you can hear the bow from a mile away and the second you hear that thing winding up every single person on the map quickly puts their head down and hides. With the sniper rifle most people never even see it coming. A few times in canals it worked both ways....me and oaktown would rush the snipers and so many people had their heads exposed in the fight for the torque bow that sniping became a huge portion of the game.

I think it helps the game a bit...you see the sniper icon show up in the bottom left of your screen then you know "hey maybe I should keep my head down this match"...and then the minute you focus on keeping your head down and taking cover you've got a maniac dvinny running at you with a chainsaw.

You're supposed to take them with you. The whole challenge of frag tagging is tagging and actually getting away. I can only get away about 50% of the time. You have to make sure you have a clear path for escape or a barrier that you can roll behind. If you tag people online, they'll cry about it and call you cheap even though it's a lot harder to tag now. You actually have to get really close.

That's what I thought. It seems like with online play any way you get a kill is cheap to the guy you killed. Same goes for any online shooter I guess. That's why I am enjoying playing with the fellas from here. Most of the time no one gets upset, and when they do, it's usually a valid gripe, like bad lag or a super chainsaw.

My only wish is that the games could start a little earlier. I look up and it's 3 am, and I gotta be up at 7. It's worth it, but man it hurts.

Yea, I have found this to be true. My first online multiplayer game was halo2. I was all sports and role playing stuff before that. If a guy kills me 20 times he is a super stud, if I kill him once I am a motherless son of a goat.

That's true, it does seem to happen less often. Was it you that got tagged and dove into me last night, taking us both down?:D :D I don't know man, they make these amazing games, and then the people come along and ruin them. It seems like it's every game too. In madden, it's hard to find a guy who will actually play out a loss. I have sat through poundings, simply because I was not afraid to lose. If I ever have a lead, the guy quits right after his first possession of the second half if he doesn't score. Hell, I will stay in a game of gears when my other 3 guys have quit simply because I don't really care who is the best.

Dude I got stuck. Someone tagged me and I went to go roll down the stairway out of everyones way then all of a sudden someone chainsaws the guy who tagged me and I got caught in the animation and couldn't move.

That's one detail of the game I think they got wrong. There should be a "cover" button....and then a "roll/run" button. Not both using the same button.

Doubt we're that lucky... personally I'd still like to see the lag issues resolved, but I'm not sure if that's a game issue or a LIVE issue.

What I'd REALLY like to see is random placement of weapons thus elimating the rush to grenades, boom, sniper, torque, etc. I think that would help change up the game play quite a bit.

Indeed. I know that all online games suffer from some sort of lag, but, aside from certain sports games, I don't think I've felt/seen the effects of lag moreso than in Gears of War.

I'd like to see this too, but it's not likely. What can happen, though, is the host can mess with the available weapons in each map. I've thought of doing it sometimes, just to see how people react to not having certain weapons. :D

Unfortunately...I don't really think it's an "issue" that can be fixed. When you have 8 people who are connecting from all across the country, and Canada, to one specific place, there's going to be lag. For example....even on an incredible connection....a signal being sent from New York to Washington State (host) is going to take longer to travel and register on the hosts game then someone who is in California and sending a signal at the exact same time. Simply sending, receiving, and processing the signals take time. Granted....that time could literally only be half a second. But when you try to snipe someones head while their moving....give or take half a second and thats the difference from a kill and missing them by 2 feet. Same thing goes when it comes to shotgun battles.....the host and those closer to the host will always have an advantage. Theres really nothing that's going to change that....unless we all decide to take a "Gears" vacation and meet up at someones house and connect all our Xboxes. Then you would have a completely even playing field.

By the way...if we're tired of the mad rush for the same weapons...play Assassination instead of execution or warzone. In that mode, only the leader (1 per side) can unlock weapons. And then...he has to drop it for others to be able to grab it.

Out of all of those...the only online one I played was COD2...and yes...it happens there as well. It actually was even more apparent because of the "kill-cam".

Basically, when you are killed. You get a little replay of about the last 4 seconds of your life from your enemies perspective (the one who killed you). Now picture coming around a corner.....firing your weapon....seeing it go off...getting killed....and then watching the replay only to see on his end...your weapon never even went off.

One night I played against a guy on my list who I met from COD2....he lives in the UK and hosted a match...1v1. LOL....it was so bad. It literally was like 3 full seconds behind. I would shoot him 3 times with a shotgun...him kill me....and then watch the replay and I had never even fired the shotgun once.

Put it this way...even in Co-Op....pyro and I couldn't get past the part where you drive the vehicle and use the UV ray. He was hosting and my "UV Cannon" shots were always behind the krill. On my screen...it looked as if it was going right through them...on his...he was telling me I was missing them. If lag can happen in a 2 player Co-Op...then it definitely is there in an 8 player match.

I came back from Seattle sunday morning. But while I was up there, i was helping my brother with his TV mounted above his fireplace. I was standing on the fire place, and when I came down, my sock slipped off the wooden chair. Exactly. I remember exactly what Oaktown is saying about the lag in the co-op mode, but I've had nowhere near the same amount of lag when playing any R6. And Tat and I aren't exactly in the same state. And I don't think all of the online multiplayer games I've had were against Californians, either. :confused:

So I've been playing some Gears lately, as has my roommate, and we've basically agreed on a few key points.

The Single player needs revamping in 5 major areas.

- The first is squad AI. Playing through on Hardcore, I watched my roommate (who is no slouch at Gears) constantly die too often due to the fault of the squad just rushing out in the middle of intense combat to try and chainsaw. You try using the commands to regroup, but they just run right back off to fight like tards. Rainbow Six AI blows this away.

- Enemy AI. We're on Insane now (we played on it before as well, but our game got erased due to a crash), and the patterns of enemies are as predicable as we remember on our last Insane try - run right at you as they get lower on health, and then usually just die via chainsaw or some up close shots. How about some flanking? some better grenade throwing ideas? (IE, 2 Locust throw grenades giving less options for dodging). Something, anything has to be better then this predictable nonsense. Again, look at RS3 for better enemy AI.

- Better/more boss fights. IIRC, there are what, 2 in Gears? RAAM and the Corpser? The RAAM fight sucks. Sorry, but it does. It feels so tacked on, its not even funny. In single player its "unload as much into him with Dom not needing a revive and the Kryll killing you" mode, and its pure luck. My friend got frustrated after 10+ tries on hardcore, so I co-oped it with him - we beat him the first try and I don't think either of us even took damage. The corpser fight was like a Zelda fight - and I'd love to see more of these in Gears 2.

- More varied/new level design. I remember in my review I said the same thing - make this a more open ended style of game. Have "missions", but have a central hub to leave from (the last city mentioned in the art book is perfect). Make the game 20-30 hours in single player. Make single player what draws you in, and have multiplayer just be icing on the cake.

- Figure out a way to get the universal A button to work better, or change sprint to something else than cover. I can't tell you how many times I'm trying to sprint, but 1/100th of my arm hits a part of a building and I stand up and end up either taking cover, trying to take cover, or dieing cause kryll/raam/random locust got me. This seems like a very, very easy fix.

Basically, on a now 4th (well, 3.5th) playthrough, its pretty obvious there was alot in Gears that was merely a testing run. I liken it to how Doom3 was a test of the Doom3 engine; many things just clearly seem like "well, we've got this level running, lets make it work". Now that groundwork is laid, its time to really beef things up.

Multiplayer, I'd love to see more of a UT style brought in, that is, more, more, more of everything. Bigger maps, more people, better weaponization, vehicles, basically, again, BUILD!

I know I was redunant on alot of things I mentioned a while back, but I really think they bare repeating. It also sounds like I hate lots of things in Gears - I don't. But once again, the potential of what it can be is simply through the roof.

I'd say Epic should aim for an early-mid 2009 (yes, 2009) release for Gears 2, have maybe a small additional add on style single player romp or 2 to hold us over, more maps and whatnot of course, and then we get something that will literally redefine the "cover" shooter only 3 years after its debute.

Hey Tat, just got your message this morning, don't sweat it dude. When we were playing a small group of people showed up out of the blue and in the chaos I handed someone the controller to finish the game, but they ended up jumping out and starting a different ranked game.

If I'm ever quiet or vanish again suddenly, its cause my house can be a zoo sometimes since I'm working from home and have people dropping off and picking stuff up often, not to mention the phone. I also often have a computer next to my couch that I'm doing repairs on, I like to game while I wait for stuff to load.

Multiplayer, I'd love to see more of a UT style brought in, that is, more, more, more of everything. Bigger maps, more people, better weaponization, vehicles, basically, again, BUILD!

The whole premise behind Gears is to not have a bit run and gun game like UT or Halo. IMO in order for the multiplayer to act out much like the regular game you can't have tons and tons of people in it.

I really hope they do build on the game much more with Gears 2... I'd personally like to see two streams to the game... one play through as Cog and one as Locust.

Well my xbox gave me the rings of death and said goodnight to the bad guy. Went to best buy and had it replaced with the warranty I bought for it. Whew...All is good now. This new one has a manufacturer's date of 06-2006. So we will see.

Errr, I wasn't clear - I meant more like UT in the size and scope of multiplayer - maybe make it 8v8. But certainly not run and gun. But add new game modes as well.

How exactly does the soul trap spell work. I use it right before I kill someone and always seem to get the message that I dont have a soul gem big enough to hold this soul.


Find a bigger soul gem....maybe a Grand Soul Gem. You can find some at the arcane university that you can steal.

So in Oblivion do the shops always have the same Gold limit? I mean selling stuff that should get you 2000-3000 gold for 1200-800 sucks. I almost always go to the 1200 people of course unless I stole it.

I just didn't like the play style (FPS with a sword...not really me). Not a BIG fan of FPS in general.

and just to throw this out there, for anyone that has Rainbow Six Vegas, there are a few of us who are on nightly or darn near that it would be easy enough to get some Terrorist Hunt or Sharpshooter going at the drop of a hat.

And for all of my regular Gears crew, if you don't have R6V already, go get it. If you like Gears you will be all over Sharpshooter and T-Hunt for R6V. Dave, Smokis and I can all vouch for that. If you don't believe, next time you're on LIVE, check out Smokis... $20 says it says he's Online "Eliminating Terrorists in LVU Campus."

If you see MPCanes online in R6, its my roommate - he is freaking nasty at T-Hunts. Was telling me how one time his whole team went down in the first 5 minutes, leaving him to eliminate 30 by himself (not impossible but it does require some skill) - by the end of the match, MPCanes was a god. Yeah.... I'm seriously hooked on RSV. Its all about the rank lately. I think I have an addiction. Funny thing is, I have about 6 other new games I've got in the past week that I haven't even touched yet. Same thing happened to me with GRAW, but my play time was limited to a desk job working for the man. Now I work for myself :D

Anyway, I got enough ranking today to get the Raging Bull pistol, now I'm taking a break to do some stuff in the real world.

It took me a half a dozen attempts but that how I beat him too. You can also hang around on the ledge in the center of the area and dodge most of his ice attacks by running around the corner.

Not sure who I was talking to about the sniper rifle yesterday....think it was hurricanes but I kinda got cut off. Basically practicing during a live game is a good way to get yourself killed. You're just asking for DVINNY to flank you and chop you in half or more importantly get your head taken off by someone else.

What I did was I constantly had friends over who wanted to play Gears of War but we had already beaten the co-op so we'd just do 1 on 1. Mainly Gridlock (since it's the most manageable). But anyways they weren't really all that good so they constantly said "anyone can shoot a shotgun, lets do snipers only" and thats when the birth of canals sniper matches started. 1 on 1, you can only use the sniper rifle and neither of you can go past the center bridge. Doing a few rounds of this and you'll get the hang of the weapon. You'll get down the quickest path to the sniper rifle with minimal jogging, all sprinting. And you'll get the timing down for when a person JUST picks up the sniper if you are there first 9 times out of 10 you can cap his head before he gets a chance to take even 1 step. Hell even if you have to have your 1 on 1 matches online with a friend it's a good way to learn a weapon. All the other weapons don't take too much practice, shotgun, pistol, lancer, boomshot, etc all pretty straight forward....but sniper takes a little more work. I mean to this day I have about a 1 in 100 chance of hitting a moving target with it (probably less then that).

Yea, that was me asking about the sniper chugga. I guess I am just too slow with it. If I ever do hit someone it's in the shoulder or arm. I have gotten pretty decent with the torque bow lately though.

I may be up for some gears tonight, depending on what time everyone is around. I might play some halo2 also. I won't pay $60 for crackdown just for the beta, but if they want to give it to me, I would surely accept it.

So when you go to register on Feb 5th, does the registration start at 12:01 am on feb 5th? Anyone know?

It would suck to put the time in only to find out that when I registered at 8 am I was 8 hours too late.
