But sweet Lord, 2,400 MS points is quite a bit. :eek: However, pound for pound, an Elder Scrolls game (Morrowind, Daggerfall, Oblivion) is absolutely worth the money. I can't think of a game on the platforms that each of those games came out on that gives more gameplay than an installment of Elder Scrolls. $30 is well worth another 40 hours of gameplay.

Yep you do get an achievement for beating the THs on single player. I just did the normal. I guess it is time to tackle the realistic. Those might take me a few days. I suggest putting the Enemy Density to Low. It makes it pretty quick and painless other than the Research Labs and Library. Those two are just a pain.

I was playing TH last night by myself with the Terrorist count to low and kept dying at the very end with 3 enemies left.

They arent that hard. For the Kill House I got to the steps on the 1st house and killed everyone. For some reason they just kept coming until there wasnt anyone left. Just sat right under the door so I could watch it and the hallway. Now realistic is a *****. I beat Boarder Town on Realistic but keep dying in the Calypso.

I haven't beaten level 6 either avs... I tried 2-3 times last night.

I've had the most success at that point with shield orbs on 2 and homing missiles on 3(max)

Have you tried the online survival mode yet? It's a blast with 4 players... you can hardly see the background after the 13 minute mark with all the enemies and your weapon fire. :D

Level 6...lol..you ain't seen shlt yet.....I've made it all the way to lvl 19...the last level. Now 19 is downright impossible. Those big planes that drop the red nukes....well.....one comes from each side at the exact same time....I cannot get past it.

As far as upgrades......I spent all my early points on the defense orbs and the homing rockets. Then I went to regular rockets. I left the laser, lightning, and the anti aircraft one for last. I maxed the orbs, rockets, and homing rockets before even spending a point in the other three.

All I can really suggest is to pay attention to the patterns. And do not continuosly shoot at one target. For example....when the tanks come out from the side....it only takes 5 shots to beat them....I would aim at them and count...once I fired 5 times...i moved onto the next target...about two to three seconds later...once the fifth shot hits them, they are dead, meanwhile...I am already taking out other enemies. Constantly move from side to side...do not get comfortable just sitting in one spot....cause they will pin you down. Also....if you haven't noticed...when you die...all nukes you've acquired disappear. So....I watch my shields....when my shields are totally gone...and I know the next hit will kill me.....I keep playing until I see that last shot that I cannot get away from and quickly use the nuke....then I keep playing again until I either get shields...or I use another nuke when a shot is likely going to kill me. That is key in the higher levels. You are going to get hit no matter what.....save your nukes until you have no shields left and you will die from the next hit...you'll get farther that way. Also...once you get the three defense orbs...you can time the enemy hits so that your orbs will take the damage instead of your tank or shields.

Not too sure, but maybe when that guy in the sewers that drops the mousers. Just keep killing the mousers. Also keep letting Shredder multiple and kill only 1 maybe.

i did that as well but nadda...oh well i've also heard the turtle soup achievment has a glitch where some get it and some don't something about you can't die fighting shredder. and not get turned into a regular turtle.

and for those who don't know the secret achievment is fall into a manhole 5 times while it's the easiest achievment to get you also don't get any points for doing it.

OK, just played my first game of MLB 2K7

I was hosed!!!!

Went 18 innings. Lost 2-1

Got robbed of a HR in the bottom of the 12. Edgar Renteria hit the gametying HR in the bottom of the 9th.

Couldnt figure out how to make my guys get extra bases, so that was my main reason for losing. I hit what shoulda been back to back doubles in the bottom of the 18th, but couldnt get my guys to take their extra bases.

The batting thing is hard as hell

Man I had an intense game of NHL 07 last night. I was playing the Flames of course I was the Avs. Well for some reason every shot they seemed to take went in. I was really getting pissed. Well I was down 6-4 with about 30 seconds left in the 3rd. I proceed to tie it up in those 30 seconds. Then we go to OT. Hejduk nets one for me about halfway through the OT. I couldnt believe that I pulled that game off. I was just like Holy Shiot I actually came back and stole a win.

OK then, EGM are idiots. Heavy Weapon is one of the best games on live. especially multiplayer. It has more depth to it than the TMNT game. Root Beet tapper is no biggie, its just a rehashed arcade ROM.

I loved the game but I was never a huge fan of the boss battles...the combat system was 100% perfect for a zombie killer game....but when you had to fight things that weren't zombies it wasn't so much "hard" as the controls were clunky. I would have liked more of a God of War type fighting system for bosses.

You walk into the gun store and instead of having to deal with that awful cover and firing system all of a sudden you go into a button sequence. Press A to grab a hand gun on the counter, press the right trigger quickly to fire a bullet through the enemies knee...rotate the stick to jump over the counter, press x to grab the shotgun, and right trigger again as you watch his head fly off as you shoot him with the shotgun. Boss dead.

To me thats alot cooler then the hope and pray you are standing behind the item rack perfectly or else you're flying 10 feet.

another thing is how they are trying to split these games up even more.

well, last night I finally beat Heavy Weapon. Level 19 only took two tries. Then started doing boss blitz. you have to beat all 19 bosses in a row, without dying. I got to level 10, then started chatting with oaktown, and ended up dying. Thanks alot, Keith!!!

I would give the game 7.5 out of 10.

game play was fun. after the first 9 bosses, 10-18 are repeated, but with extra attacks. Boss 19 was crazy difficult. dropping nukes out of his butt

multiplayer is crazy and hard. Ive noticed I have the longest time in blitz, out of all my friends list

Is this game any fun? Condemded is a good game worth a rental although you should be able to find it cheap by now. TMNT looks good i don't really have a must buy until GTA 4 although i am going to eventually buy GH2

I actually brushed the dust off of my system & Saints Row last night, since I hadn't played my 360 in 3 days, and Saints Row in months. It felt good to play SR again, especially since there's so much more to do than in Crackdown, and playing GTA: Vice City Stories makes me want to smash my PS2 (Since the controls are more similar to GTA3 & Vice City than San Andreas---Regression sucks! :( ).

Holy crap, that's expensive. I would've wanted it to be around 400 or so, myself. But then again, I never bought the game. I convinced myself not to when it was last on sale for $39.99, because I had made it almost 3/4 of the way through after renting it.

I saw it posted earlier...but I just wanted to re-affirm the notion. Do not buy the new TMNT movie game. It is way too short/kiddy to warrant a $60 pricetag. Put it this way...I rented it last night, already beat it, and got 985 out of the 1000 achievement points already. I believe I actually should have already received the full 1000....but one achievement might be bugged...as I know for a fact I did it...I just didn't get the achivement for it. Anyways...I did all of this in the span of about 6-7 hours. Definately a "renter".

Now onto the game......it's basically a button masher. Each turtle has his own attacks. On certain stages...you are stuck as a certain turtle. On others...you can cycle between all 4. On the stages where you can cycle....you can also do CO-Op moves and attacks...where you hit a button....and two turtles perform a move together. Again...each turtle has their own Co-Op move. Fighting is very basic. 6 or 7 boss fights (which are very easy to figure out the patterns to and beat). Oddly....most of the game is jumping, crawling, scaling and trying to manipulate your way through cityscapes and sewers. It's a fun game to kick around for a couple of hours. Even for being cartoony...the graphics were surprisingly good...especially some of the movie cutscenes. If you have kids younger then 12-13...it'd be a good pickup for them to play. okay...my fingers hurt...im done.

Last night I sent Oaktown a text message over Live. Asking him about the prospects of TMNT, because I Was going to buy it. And seconds later he sent me a voice invite telling me its a definite rental. Fun games but easy. I was surprised he beat it in one night though. :D

I'm actually just getting into these and got my first one two weeks ago. Now I have 5. They are pricey....but they look awesome. Kinda hard to tell the scale....but for example...the Hulk stands 16" tall.

I like the sideshow statues....the life sized busts they have are absolutely ridiculous. I've wanted the thing one for a while but I can't see spending $500 on it.

Sideshow does put out some really nice stuff.....but they are too sporadic for my collecting habits. Fr example...so far...they've only put out like 4 of those life size busts...in a couple years. And now...they're already moving on to a new product...legendary scale busts...which are like 1/2 scale. They seem to put out a few things of the most popular characters...then move onto another type of collectible. I like Bowen for the simple fact he only makes Marvel statues and mini-busts...none of that other crap. They are all in the same scale and you get a much wider variety of characters from his company then you would sideshow. Check out his new Thor statue coming out soon....friggin incredible. Already have it pre-ordered.

The Venom is easily my favorite...for right now.

The Bowen Magneto is really nice....so is Sideshow's Magneto Comiquette if you're just considering getting one piece.

The detolfs are nice and perfect for statue displays.....but I have plans a tad bit bigger then detolfs ;) When it's done.....lol....in a few years...I'll put up pics.

Right now only statues I have are danbury mint although I've been tempted heavily by the game greats series....shame they seem to be shut down already. But anyways yeah the comic statues are pretty amazing.

But back on topic....can't wait for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance patch....I'm just wondering what costumes they are going to have for Hulk...will there be a Grey Hulk skin? That would be cool.

did you play the other marvel games that were semilar to this? I am more of a x-men fan so i totally skipped out on this game... im debating on picking it up now because of this update...

I never played X-Men Legends, but I did play X-Men Legends 2. In my honest opinion X-Men Legends 2 set the bar. It was more of an RPG then Marvel Ultimate Alliance is. Alot of the leveling up that is popular in RPGs was stripped from MUA making it somewhat weaker. With that being said it's still a fun game but there was just something about XL2 that I liked more. Obviously they are all button mashers but putting every single last one of your points in strength and strike for Juggernaut in XL2 proved to be one of the most entertaining things known to man. I remember on the normal difficulty we finally got to the last boss of the game with pretty moderate levels and all me and my friends did was sit back as Juggernaut grew to take up basically the entire screen as he beat the living crap out of Apocolypse.

If you can get it for cheap then I'd definately pick it up. The cast of characters is pretty impressive. With the Hulk and Venom now being added you've officially got basically everyone I could have cared for into the game.

Don't skip it just based on that, because in the game....you can still be Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Iceman, etc. You can make your own X-men team.

The X-Men characters in the game are kinda boring though. Storm is a dumbed down Thor....Iceman is a dumbed down Human Torch...Colossus is a dumbed down Luke Cage/Thing. Wolverine is really the only original/fun to use character of the bunch.

You'd have a lot more fun trying out different characters anyways....Captain America and Spiderman are 2 of the more fun and original characters to choose from.

Not true. It all depends on what powers you decide to use. Storm has a kickazz whirlwind power that's very useful against multiple enemies. Iceman's attacks will slow enemies down (no one else can do that), Wolverine is....well Wolverine...he's bad azz. Colossus is pretty much just the Thing and Luke Cage...but there's only so many things you can do for a brawler character.

By the way...I'm now in the market for a used copy...hey someguy6000, you wanna sell me mine back :p

The brawling character thing kinda scares me about the Hulk because I mean when you think about it I could definately see him being a clone of the Thing...it would be cool as hell if they encorperated a rage meter with him (kinda like Wolverines) where he does more damage the more he's jumping around pounding crap.

Well im now on level 12 on TMNT and it may not be the longest or most difficult but its aweful fun. I should have it finished pretty soon seeing that it only has 16 levels.

so you cant power up your heroes in this game?? that was one of my favorite features of the xmen games...

No...you can. Although you power up each heroes special attacks instead of strength, agility, etc....those level up automatically.

At last, your review! So it is true, what IGN said---it's merely a kiddy game, and easy as Hell. :( I noticed you had gotten most of the achievements in your first 4-5 hours (The same night I messaged you), and then I realized that the reviews saying it might be one of the easiest games ever to get achievements in were true. Too bad, because with the Ubisoft Montrèal team working on this, I had hoped they could give it at least some of the depth the newer PoP games had in it.

yeah that wasn't as hard to do as i thought it would be. the corpser is hard when you have a boomshot and shotgun yeah that sucked. boomshot didn't do as much damage as you would have thought.

BTW if anyone wants to co-op on insane let me know i need to finish acts 2-5
