Don't feel bad, Scott---I can't go above "Normal". Once you bring the 5th fret in, my fingers always go beyond my control. I have had the original PS2 GH for some time, and even with practice, I never got comfortable going to "Hard" mode. It was even worse with my co-op on GH2, as none of my buddies that come over were even good enough to co-op with, even if they were on Easy. :mad:

Not all of the glitches were fixed in the new GOW patch. I super jump is there and the A button run and shooting with the shotgun is still there. I know because both were used against me today.

They didn't fix most of the glitches. They just made them harder to do. That doesn't help much because they'll figure out how to do the glitches in a short period of time. Weapon sliding still works, but the timing is harder now. How is that a fix?

I still can't get over the new wall sticking that was added in the update. I only got stuck to a wall on accident once every few games. Now, I get stuck all the time. Of all the things that needed to be fixed, why this? Anybody else having this problem? My whole team was having this problem when we were playing Mausoleum and trying to rush to the sniper.

i had that problem last night well sorta i kept sliding to each wall while tring to run the thing that was pissing me off last night was the run up and shoot you with a shotgun and the one shot kills with the shotgun. i do like the fact that the lancer seems to be a bit more effective. Annex is fun but not with a bunch of whinny people who keep saying "get in the **** ring!" over and over

R6V DLC street date and cost announced

April 9, 2007 - Instead of searching for Easter Eggs or drinking Bloody Marys on Good Friday last week, IGN spent time killing terrorists in the upcoming Rainbow Six Vegas Player's Pack Red Edition. We've got nothing against a day off, but when it comes to playing new maps and modes in Rainbow Six Vegas, we're there.

For those not unfamiliar with the Player's Red Pack Edition, Ubisoft is following tradition by giving gamers more to play on their Xbox 360s than just a single retail copy. This new downloadable content, the "Red Edition," includes two new multiplayer modes and five new maps, and is solely downloadable via Xbox Live on Thursday, April 18 for less than 1,000 Microsoft Points (about $10).

The two new modes are Assassination mode and Total Conquest (a mode most recently revived from Rainbow Six: Black Arrow). The first mode pits two teams against one another, one of which is an escort team trying to deliver a VIP to one of two extraction points, while the other tries to kill the escort and defend the extraction points. While characters on both teams look like militants and mercenaries, the escort himself is a bald, be-speckled business man, armed only with a handgun. He stands out big time. Total Conquest is a team-oriented control point set-up that's similar to a standard Battlefield game. Players vie to control three satellites and win by holding satellites for the most amount of time at the end of the allowed period or by gaining possession of all three satellites for 30 seconds. By calling this new DLC "Red Edition," one must wonder if a "Black Edition" might come (Ubisoft wouldn't comment on it). The new maps are Marshalling Yard, Roof, Doscala Restaurant, Border Town -- Redux, and Killhouse -- Redux.



These powerful guns provide heavy recoil and require a steady hand.We've already covered the basics on the Red Edition in our exclusive reveal, but our recent hands-on unveiled killer details we wouldn't know by just looking at it. Starting with Assassination, Ubisoft's new mode has the potential to be a highly tactical gameplay experience compelling players to handle themselves with care and precision. We could only gather six guys to play simultaneously, but with as many as 16 on-screen, snipers can find sweet rooftop points to force choke points and eliminate the opposition team. This is more crucial than you'd think because, unlike Total Conquest which offers options for re-spawns, Assassination provides only one life per player. Oh yes, indeed. Like Steve Martin used to say, "That's what I'm shooting for; one shot, goodbye!"

Like all MP maps, Assassination works best if you know the map. We played it in the Marshalling Yard, a map that comprises open train yards packed with smartly placed cargo cars, ladders leading to second story snipe points, and a tough-ass shortcut that enables players to rappel right down the middle of the map. The two extraction points in this map are placed in the open train yard relatively close to each other and all extraction points are indicated by flashing yellow flares so they're visible from a good distance. Since we were new to the map and playing defense, we initially just camped by the flares. But that quickly became boring as hell. On three sides of the yard are basic doors and garage openings, so in our first match, we caught the escort team in a choke point at a garage door and used flashbangs to kill off the two escort militants. The VIP, however, quickly caught wind of our defense strategies, knew the map better, and snuck around the opposite side, skirting all three of us and winning the game. Thwarted!

Capture a satellite and then sit in wait.When I joined the VIP team we made it through a good portion of the map until I turned a corner and took a cold hard headshot. Since there are no re-spawns in Assassination, once you're dead, you'll get a seat from the bleachers, i.e. looking at the game from another team mate's perspective. A few minutes later, my cohort was killed off, leaving only the VIP himself. Before I knew it, he burst out into the open and, using his single handgun, blasted the two remaining enemies! Diehard suckers! One last really cool thing about Assassination is that if you do die you can still talk to your cohorts from the dead. That means you can warn them of oncoming enemies. (It can also mean you can harass and annoy them from the dead, which may not be so rich.)

Since Assassination mode didn't capture well on video, we switched to Total Conquest. We began on the Roof Map, which is the least distinctive of the five new maps. The entire map takes place indoors at a coffee factory near the Mexican border. The interiors are dark, the corridors are mostly tight, and the map takes some time to get accustomed to. It's also quite vertical, so once you get to the top of the old rustic building, a big beautiful vista of Mexico appears in the background with reddish brown hues.

Total Conquest mode plays like Battlefield at its core, but the way in which satellite spots are gained is a little more interesting than what we're used to. In previous Rainbow Six games this multiplayer mode was won by holding the most satellites at the end of the allowed time -- or if you gain possession of all three satellites for 30 seconds. To prevent matches from being too short, Ubisoft changed their system to one of cumulative points. Every second a team holds a satellite, it gets 5 points, two satellites get 10 points per second; and all three satellites gives them 25 points per second. With three satellites held, your team gains points extremely quickly, nearly three times as fast as holding only one. The number of points needed to win a match is set before the game starts; for instance, it can be set between 1,000 to 8,000 points. An 8,000 point game is challenging because killing the other team gives you no points, but the excitement is drawn out and the extended time adds another layer of strategy. The key thing about Total Conquest is gaining satellites, not necessarily killing enemies. So dying isn't much of an issue because you'll simply re-spawn and go at it again. Holding satellites is more important than anything.



Is that Sam Fisher's skinny younger brother?The "famous" Italian Doscala Restaurant located on Freemont Street in Las Vegas is a new multiplayer map and it's one of my favorites. There is a good balance between outside and inside environments and the inside areas are harrowing. For instance, I spawned just outside the back door to the restaurant. I picked off an enemy guarding the entrance, and then sniped an enemy hiding inside the door. The door opens to a small hallway that runs perpendicular to the entrance and a glass booth sits inside, from which players can pop up and snipe. Just inside and to the right is a stagger point in the hallway, creating a small corner about five feet long and a cubby spot where a satellite rests. This way, there is just enough room to hide and switch the satellite to your side. But it's still an open spot with little room to escape if someone throws a grenade your way. And since the grenades in Rainbow Six Vegas are so quiet, well, it's best to keep moving! A little further inside is an opening to the kitchen, filled with several long waist-high cutting and prep tables and all sorts of knives, hanging pots, and moving objects. The kitchen is a real obstacle course that's guaranteed to provide serious fun.

Chalk up one more for the good guys.Then there are the last two maps, Border Town - Redux and Killhouse - Redux. Border Town is based in the city of San Joshua Mosquiera, a small village where crime and gang violence have overrun the place. Here, the map is essentially a small square with houses and porches and such along the perimeter, car-strewn streets inside them, and a church planted in the center that can be climbed using ladders. Up top, the roof of the church is perfectly designed with a wall to prevent instant kills at the top of the ladder, a large dome in the center to prevent long-shot snipes, and the satellite at the end with two bell towers on each side to hide in. My first visit to the top featured a sneak grenade toss that blew me into chunks, and my second visit included me gutting a few enemies in vengeance. This is a great map, and though it's rather smallish, it's nothing like the free Crash Site map in Gears of War, which is just a mad rush of death. It's a good, solid map. Killhouse - Redux, however is a remake of a level from the single-player campaign of Vegas, but it's also a remake of a legacy map. I'm not sure, but I think this map is actually a remake of the original Rainbow Six games, perhaps the first. This is a symmetrical, vertical map three stories high that leads players through the middle, which is riskier but more satisfying (if you succeed), or around the outside. It's a tough, crowded set of hallways and it's super fun with the right guns (i.e. shoguns and short-burst machine guns).

In all, the new maps and modes make the perfect addition to a title that's still one of the very best titles on Xbox 360. While everyone is still playing Gears or War online (for some strange reason), come April 18, Rainbow fans will be sniping from the grungy, beautiful maps of Las Vegas and Mexico. The maps aren't free, but given the two new modes and five maps, and all the options they bring, they're well worth the price.

UK, April 10, 2007 - Bungie and Microsoft have announced that the Halo 3 multiplayer beta will be gunning for Xbox Live on May 16, with three all-new maps and fresh vehicles to try out.

From 1pm (GMT) on May 16 any Xbox 360 owners who managed to secure their admission to the beta, either after buying a special copy of Crackdown or through the Rule of Three promotion, can don their Spartan helmet and get ready for some full-on Halo 3 action. The beta lasts until June 7.

Once downloaded players can sample three different maps - Snowbound, High Ground and Valhalla - which represent a mixture of large and medium scale combat environments. Previously these maps have only been demoed to journalists by Bungie, so there's no chance you'll be unfairly gunned down by someone who knows the battlefield better.

In addition to the maps several new vehicles are available in the demo, including the Mongoose all-terrain vehicle, as well as brand-new weapons like the improved Assault Rifle, Brute Spiker, Spartan Laser and Spike Grenades.

For those without a Gold Live account, which is needed to play the multiplayer beta, you can take solace in special behind-the-scenes videos that are now available on Bungie's website.

If you want to take part in the beta and haven't enlisted already, special copies of Crackdown, which include the beta key, are available until May 16. They're easily recognised by the handy sticker on the front of the box.

Chugga and I were just going 1v1 in the new Annex mode and since we were both on different sides...we opened private chat so we could talk smack while killing each other. Chugga had said he invited way back when we first got on and you didn't join till literally an hour or two later. Which by the way...you scared the crap outta me when you showed up....cause I had just killed chugga...and like 1 second later...i see you running up from behind and at first I thought it was chugga. Sooooo......if you were trying to chat with us and didn't get a response...that's why. We were hoping more would be on....but there wasn't. Hey....at least we weren't yelling "get in the **** ring1" over and over at you.

I thought annex had the possibility of being real fun with a few more people. Like oaktown said something like 2 on 2 or MAYBE 3 on 3. 4 on 4 would just be messy and kamikazee missions. We had a bunch of really close games last night....I won by 10 points once, oaktown won by 11 once.

I thought the funnest part was taking a node then completely running away from it and taking a defensive position. A couple of times I took a node then stood no where near it and just sniped. And a couple of times oaktown would take a node and then laugh at me for missing and saying he was going to give me a moving target and I'd pop his head right off. I know he's at work right now and he's probably still a little bit impressed with 1 of the shots I made. I never thought a game masters head could fly so far off.

LOL...I know exactly which shot you speak of. That was an impressive snipe....your awesomeness was in full effect with that shot. But I also remember just running side to side and running in cirlces without taking cover, taunting you, as sniper shot after sniper shot went by, with little barbs like "good one", "boy that was close", "nice shot", "should I just stand still".

But yeah...a 2v2 on annex could make for some really fun games.

Well a couple of times it made more sense for me to just sit back and have fun sniping because you'd get the node with like 11 ticks left and there was no point what-so-ever for me to try to get down there and get those last 3 ticks to be mine. So I just sat up there shooting you, most of the time aiming for your feet because of the stupid bridge blocking your head.

I really like annex but I did see one major problem with it last night. I was doing stuff I'd NEVER do in a normal gears game. Running directly up to you while your on cover knowing that if you blow me away I have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chance to have it work. Knowing that you're going to respawn certain changes thing alot. And I'm not sure that new mentality will carry over very well when you've got 4 guys rushing a defense position because they know they'll be coming back.

While we played entirely too many Canals games last night I'd like to give clocktower a go on Annex. imagine being able to take a defensive position on the sniper spawn...that would be amazingly difficult to break through on. Or holding down the grenade spawn all boxed in, or even the boomshot spawn under constant fire.

Needless to say they were doing a great job for not having a clue how to play the game. They still couldn't figure out what to do when we would take a point and why we weren't attacking.

Epic just can't seem to get updates/patches right. Instead of fixing the crab walk glitch and the super jump + the other glitches, they just make the **** harder to do. Then there are the losers that lack the skill to play with honor that will find ways to do the glitches again. Thank god for the power to kick people.

ok the craziest thing happened on Gears i was trying to finish Act 2 on insane. i've been stuck on the driving part for awhile so i gave it another try tonight. i get almost to the end with most of my health. but the last kryll raid i totally lost it had about 2 or 3 kryll swarming me and i eventually blew up and as i was saying "***" outloud. i heard the checkpoint chime and i bam next chapter. what the hell happned?

Did you ever register your console on xbox.com?
I wondered the same thing... how do they know where to ship it back? Then I remembered I registered my console and it's there with my email address. If you haven't registered your console, I would do so now. I think all you need is your 12-digit console number/serial number on the back.

My UPS store took mine the day I dropped it off at about 5:45 pm and the tracking number indicated it went to the sorting facility about an hour later and was on a plane to TX by 2:35 am the next morning.

I bought Guitar Hero II yesterday.

It is without a doubt the coolest game ever!

I started playing at around 8:00 pm last night and by 11:00 I had the game beat on easy level. Now I'm going through medium. I can't how much tougher it is just adding that 4th fret. My liitle finger wants to drag all the rest with it when it goes for that blue note. I'm going to have to do some kind of finger excercises I guess :)

I got a couple of encores...one was Shout At The Devil by the Crue and the second one was Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You, Tonight by Spinal Tap. Cool surprise at the end of the Spinal Tap song.

(Hopefully that will change sooner than later) But my question is, is there still a huge difference in graphics from current-gen XBox to the 360 even if it's on a non HDTV? Obviously it won't look as sharp, (I'm not an idiot) but will I be at all disappointed?

Oh, and one other question. Does it make any sense to purchase a 1080p and spend the extra money, even though no one broadcasts in that resolution? (And won't be for quite some time) Or should I just save the money, and get a nice 720p? And what about 1080i?

1080p tends to get overhyped... unless you plan on getting a tv larger than 50" and plan to sit close enough to it to take full advantage of 1080p, I probably wouldn't bother. Even the difference between 1080i and 1080p can be pretty small on most signals... sports and fast scenes in movies probably won't look as good on 1080i.

However, by the fall there should be some very good prices on 1080p tvs... worst comes to worst, buy one from a place with a 30 day return policy and test drive it for a bit.

I guess my main problem is sort of a double edged sword. On one hand, I don't want to buy a 1080p, and spend all that extra money, to not enjoy a MUCH better picture, because as you said, it's probably not worth it unless it's at least 50", which is Big Bucks!

But on the other hand, I don't want to buy a 720p, and then be annoyed because the technology is quickly antiquated. Everything I've read about networks broadcating in 1080p basically claim that it will not happen for quite some time due to bandwith costs. But whose to say that 3 years from now someone dosen't come forward with a cheap way to do it, and then suddenly EVERYBODY is broadcasting in 1080p, and I'm stuck with my 720p. I realize that when dealing with electronics, something better will always come along. But 7-8 years is tolerable, 3-4 is not. Especially when the TV's cost so much.

Trends... new models are just coming out now. We'll probably see the first pricedrops sometime in the summer with a second in the fall before the Christmas season. Another normally occurs around superbowl time.

Dude, I got my HDTV like 2 years ago now...and it's a 62" DLP Toshiba that is native 720p with 1080i support. Every now and then I think it'd be nice to have 1080p, but if money is an issue....I'd go with size and the 720p over a smaller 1080p set any day of the week. The difference is going to be negligible.

That said, if I were buying a new one now, I'd find the best deal (DTVCity.com is a great place with quality warraties and much cheaper than best buy)...and figure out how to finance the 1080p unit. If you're taking the plunge, you mine as well go all out.

Has anyone bought and used the HD drive for their 360 yet?

Just wondering how the perforrnace and quality is.

Trends... new models are just coming out now. We'll probably see the first pricedrops sometime in the summer with a second in the fall before the Christmas season. Another normally occurs around superbowl time.

I have a 768p plasma tv... the picture is just awesome!

If you decide you don't need 1080p, there are some KILLER deals on last years models right now (720p, 768p 1080i)

Went to the website, saw the GameStop coupon for the upgrade to Elite promotion. Is that real? Sounds too good to be true.


Also, if this is legit and I do trade up, how do I get my data off my "old" 360 hard drive and onto the new one? Is this something they can do in-store, or can I re-download via LIVE?

Movie trailers and such, I can live without. Arcade games, my LIVE Gold account, and game save data is another thing altogether.

One other thing...having the PS3 and 360 side by side, I did an experiment. I downloaded similar sized files from PS3 online network and XBOX Live (not simultaneously).

I downloaded a Spidey 3 trailer off PS online (229 MB in 9 minutes) and a 348 MB Halo 3 ViDoc on XBOX Live in 27 minutes. It took PS3 32 minutes to download a 794 MB demo. Damn.

Obviously, PS3 was the tortoise to the 360's hare. Will the Elite be faster when it comes to downloads and such, or will it be the same? Why is the PS3 faster in this regard in the first place? Shouldn't it be comparable?


And yes, both consoles used the same internet connection (10/100 Ethernet, one cable, switched to each console, respectively), downloaded back to back, etcetera.

from what i've read you can recover the gold account and the live arcade games off of live about the game saves not sure on that one. the catch with the arcade games is if you've transfered Hard drives you have to be connected to xbox live to play them.

The latest patch for the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero II was supposed to alleviate many of the concerns consumers had when they bought the game two weeks ago. But, on the Official Xbox Message Boards (http://forums.xbox.com/2/11717177/ShowPost.aspx#11717177), many users are stating that the patch has made matters even worse, even turning their $400 investment into the world's most expensive brick.

Perhaps as a testament to the 360's durability, it seems that every time the latest game or patch hits there is a numerous outcry from gamers who've suffered the wrath of the red ring of light. Since the patch, many users have been claiming the game will consistently freeze, and upon rebooting either the Dashboard will freeze, or the console won't come on at all, revealing those three fear stricken red lights of death.

Of course, this could just be a vocal minority, but the failure rate of 360s has been extremely high (3rd one here). Is this problem few and far between, or is it a widespread issue? Let us hear your experiences in the comments...

Well, I'm hoping that my game saves will fit on my memory card (it's the statndard one, not the half gig one that they ahve now). Probably not, but the PC hookup thing...would that just be via a USB cord - did you see it on the video? Thanks for the input:)

i didn't see a video. you connected your hard drive to a base which had a usb cord to connect to your PC and you could transfer files back and forth. i don't remember the price. i seen it at my local best buy about a week after i bought my 360.

Yes, the ends are the same... I believe any old HDMI cord will do.

Good luck w/ the HDTV purchase. I went ahead and picked the 1080p over the 720p b/c it was only a few hundred more and I knew that I'd get into the 1080p realm sooner or later w/ the PS3's Blu-Ray or even hddvd. It's great to see a lot of hd shows that are broadcasted in 1080i too. Granted, I probably won't be able to tell the difference w/ 720p like most sites mention, but it's also for piece of mind too.

You can find last year's Sharp models for cheaper now as their newer LCDs are just hitting. I think the same goes w/ LG too.

Your cheapest route is to either get last year's model or wait until the holidays. And yes, the holidays will save you a bunch of money. :)

oh, my tv is the Sony KDL 40v2500. I got it for $1900 having best buy match Fry's price. If I would have got it during the Christmas season, it would have cost me $1800. You can't find that price for that TV now, but you probably can once the newer models hit.

It's a fun and nerve racking process, but definitely check out avsforum.com. Amazing resource

Excuse me fellas, got a quick question. I will be purchasing a 360 later this week, but I don't have an HDTV. (Hopefully that will change sooner than later) But my question is, is there still a huge difference in graphics from current-gen XBox to the 360 even if it's on a non HDTV? Obviously it won't look as sharp, (I'm not an idiot) but will I be at all disappointed?

i still have a regular tv and the difference is still huge...to me at least...more detailed environments...smoother gameplay. im hoping to get an hdtv within the next couple months...didnt help that my car got broken into last week so i now have to replace the stereo in there.

There is a considerable difference, but not enough to really ruin your 360 experience. The one thing it did ruin for me was Dead Rising since the text was made for an HDTV. Without an HDTV I couldn't read any of the ingame dialogue, but once I did get my TV all was good. Don't let a lack of an HDTV stop you since many games can be enjoyed w/o one.

It's pretty pathetic when you only have 3 people playing Gears...so you let the other two go 1 v 1 in Annex mode....and you turn "Team Damage" ON.......and proceed to kill either one of them as they try to cap a control point (but only with a sniper rifle)......and then get accused of being a d!p***** as you kill one guy right before he caps a CP and he now thinks you're killing him more then you are the other guy....



Who am I kidding....it wasn't pathetic...it was fun as hell. I loved seeing chugga and cory run around trying to kill each other...and then *pop*....their explodes from my sniper rifle and I get to hear both of them say "you @hole....I was just about to cap it....now chugga/cory is gonna get to it first" :D

Then while I'm ducking and dodging 50 sniper shots cory comes by and shoots me with a shotgun. Now heres the kicker I get caught with a 14 second wait time till I spawn but the game was ever so kind as to give me a perfect camera angle of the machine gun point that I was just dodging shots from. So how many shots does cory have to weather from oaktown (after I just dodged at least 7 shots?) oaktown isn't even shooting at him. Oh and I saw it with my own eyes joketown. Then what happens I spawn go to run to the point and my head pops off before I can even get around the corner. Oh way to be fair and unbiased. You were about as unfair and unbiased as the russian figure skating judges.

LOL. Yes...on the turret...before we initiated the new aspect of team damage....we were just laughing it up at your expense. But I swear to you....everytime I saw Cory out in the open on Gridlock...I shot at him. I know for a fact...that there was at least 3 separate times he would have beaten you to a CP....and I either took his head off or downed him with an active reload...not to mention the times I just randomly killed him. Honestly.......while I probably got you like 10 or 12 times...I probably got Cory 8 or 9 times. And if anyone could complain about getting killed right after they spawn...it would be cory......as I literally took his head off just as he rounded the first corner after spawning. And Cory's right....he ducks down and hides from me....you run in circles inviting me to shoot at you. Your tactics are just begging me to take your head off. There is no bias. I kill every color of the rainbow. anyone have any insight as to what time the R6V content will be available in the Marketplace? I remember the original GoW map pack was released early that morning, but I wasn't sure if MS normally has a set time when stuff is updated the Marketplace or if it's just whenever they feel like putting it up.

But thats the funny thing cory didn't get the better of me. When both of you were going all out I still found a way to put up over 100 points on a 2 on 1 scenario. Then after that when both of you were facing me with team damage off I won that game. Yes I won a 2 on 1 annex. The only games I ever lost were when you were an "unbiased" judge who just loved being on the turret or only realized that head shots were fun on me.

On the nightly count I had a record of 1-3 which is sad in so many ways when in a 3 on 3 game we were able to get a shutout but in a 1 on 2 you guys couldn't even scoop up all the points in time? I mean there were 2 of you. Cory's defense of "all you gotta do is keep your head down" is further proof that you are a liar Mr. Joketown. He has this strange belief that if he just stands behind cover on the machine gun spawn points he's perfectly fine when in all reality (come on now, everyone think to yourselfs...I'll give you a few minutes....ok cool) we all know you can take someones head off behind that piece of cover every single time if you want to. So yes I was moving around alot in those annex points because if I didn't move around I'd just sit behind the cover point and you'd take my head off. I mean if you really want to we can do the science experiment tonight....cory can take cover in the machine gun area and I'll pick up the sniper rifle and we'll see exactly how safe his head actually is when it's not oaktown shooting at him...or I should say not shooting at him at all. For an entire 14 seconds I just sat back and watched both of you just pick your @$$es for a while trying to figure out where I'd spawn

And I don't even wanna hear cory beat me because in basically every game we did (aside from that ***ness that was War Machine) I had more kills then both of you and the vast majority of the time oaktown had more kills then cory. So you figure that one out. The unbiased observer with 12 kills and they don't even count the teamkills.

I guess in your infinite wisdom...you don't account for the fact that everytime I killed Cory (or he killed me) it accounted for a -1 on the kills. So when it said I only had 8 kills....in all actuality it was more like 15 kills...just that 7 of them were on my "teammate". LOL...so..."did I figure that one out"???

There shouldn't be a need for a gamemaster, why not just go one on one, that way I don't have to worry about constantly getting shot at with active reload. Me and oaktown have already had a 1 on 1, I basically owned him so I think thats why he's getting a little defensive now. Because our 1 on 1 was a legit one on one. Not a 2 on 1 that we would just deem a 1 on 1 regardless of the fact that the 3rd party was firing anyways.

I suppose I should just get used to the 2 on 1s. When me and oaktown had a legit 1 on 1 I got teamed up upon there too for 1 round but was still able to pull out a convincing victory

I'm not actually faulting you for last night, I'm just tossing it out there because it makes me look better. Also I didn't leave that hell hole of a game I sat through that, I'm pretty sure pyrrhonist was on my team and we were both commenting on how awful the game was. Someone was sporting a godly host advantage with the shotgun and the only defense against it was to take out a lancer. But what happens when you take out a lancer? He's only down for 5 seconds it doesn't matter, you were basically just delaying the invevidable with the lancer. That game was the worst game of Gears I had ever played in my life. But I did stick through it and I'm pretty sure we continued playing after that we just said "seriously we gotta start the room over again and none of that 5 second down stuff thats awful".

As for last night it was pretty bad, I got into a shotgun battle with someone and he was just sliding around...it wasn't even ice skating he was kinda like nightcrawling in X2....he would just pop over to another section of the sniper tower randomly. I'd shoot at him then pop he's 10 feet over in the other direction so I'd shoot at him there and pop he's 10 feet back now. It was some of the worst lag I had experienced but it was very hit or miss. Sometimes I'd be playing and I didn't think the connection was bad at all...to a point where I could actually pick up the sniper and have a go with it. But other times it was just really clunky.

Ok ok, that was funny but it was only made more funny because I told you to pause the game jokingly. I was like "seriously seriously just pause the game for a minute so you can input more cheat codes to help your cause even more". Then oaktown being oaktown actually listens to me and pauses the game waiting to figure out why he should pause the game. I did give you enough time to unpause it though and form a defense, I just happened to shoot you faster then you shot me, you can't honestly say you were on the pause screen that entire time.

I got a nevv issue of Game Informer today in the mail and there vvere a good amount of GTA4 & All Pro Football 2K8 in it. Both games look really good. Im still buying Madden but I may give AP2K8 a rent and if it's gameplay and other parts are good I may also buy that. But one thing that I thought vvas kind of cool vvas that each team vvill have it's ovvn stadium design. And *their ovvn theme that come through in the architecture and in events such as TD celebrations For EXample there is a team called the Rhino's and at there stadium has an animatronic Rhino that bursts out of the stands. And the fans in the crovvd vvill consist of 64 different s complete vv/64 different animaton. And vveather ill also be a big part of thestadium eperience, right dovvn to creating more slippery playing conditions.*

personally, I like them a lot. The new kill house is nice, lot of new additions. the new border town is... meh. The Marshalling yard is almost too big. the roof is meh... and the doscala restaurant is nice.

assassination and total conquest are both great additions though

Maybe someone here can help me. When I play my 360 in HD the colors switch from good to a reddish tint. Its not my TV because the color switches from good to red during game play. This happen to anyone else?

First thing I would do is check the connections on the back of the tv to make sure they are snug.

Well sometimes it starts out fine then goes to the red tint. But some time it starts out with the reddish tint. I tested all my connections and they are fine. I think I will get a new cable and try that.
