It's not worth your money, with all the renting you do, do what you do best....go to blockbuster, throw down $5, rent Call of Juarez, put in a good week with it and realize how disappointed you would have been if you bought it, only to be able to trade it back in for $5.37. I know it's tough but save that hard earned EB cash of yours for July...July is going to be a pretty solid month when it comes to releases.

for $30 total. But on the way home I noticed they had the scratched circle all the way around on all 3 disks. Put all 3 in my machine and none of them would play. Wife just brought them back from Gamecrazy and for $2 a disc, they rebuffed it and now all 3 games work perfectly.

So, if anyone needs Oblivion, I have 2 collectors edition copies. One for trade. Need Gears of War and Rainbow 6. either game for oblivion.

Yup... push the sync button on the 360 first, then the one on top of the controller. If that doesn't work, take it back as you got a dud.

I read an article on Lamespot a bit back, and Epic mentioned adding achievements to King of the Hill...oops, Annex games:

The new maps are pretty cool, I honestly only got my Xbox last month(Elite version). Play so-so in Gears though, being that I am still adjusting to playing with a controller as oppose to keyboard+mouse since I play shooters on my PC.

As for the new H3 controllers by Todd, they look ok, I won't be getting them since I am not a controller collector or anything, but they dont look bad for the hardcore Halo 3 fans out there.
Is there a poll here to see how many ppl had thier Xbox's die on them? Wondering since a good buddy of mine got his to die this weekend playing Gears.

yeah gears has one that from e3 06 that was up on ebay for starting bid of 75 dollars and they have an emergence day faceplate for 55. i got lucky with my other one because gamestop was trying to get rid of them.

I had the Gears faceplate that Circuit City gave out the week it released, but I never used it. I now use the Halo 3/Halo Trilogy faceplate, that came with the free theme download.

There's good experiences and bad experiences - too much of the bad for me, when my gold subscription ran out on Live I didn't renew - gotta say I haven't missed it at all. ..I think I'm going to get 2k8 and madden (too hard to completely let go), Halo 3 is already pre ordered.
BioShock looks outstanding, might HAVE to purchase.

While Hour of Victory has taken a beating from a lot of message boards. I kind of like it. It's not particularly a serious WWII shooter, but it has those elements with other features that make it pretty enjoyable. I also think the demo is probably worse than the finished product. I'm looking forward to it.

From what it sounds like now, you no longer have to play ranked to get these achievements. There are people claiming they're getting them just by playing them on local games (on their own Xbox, with a 2nd/3rd person over). IMO, if they are going to allow player matches to "count" now, that's crap. I'd have quite a few more of the multiplayer achievements than I do, since we did numerous matches in Gears prior to my selling my copy. Alas, what can you do?

Did anyone download the "classic" Prince of Persia yesterday? I have wondered if they tried to beef up the game's look to try and match the more modern day PoP series, since the original is much older.

From what it sounds like now, you no longer have to play ranked to get these achievements. There are people claiming they're getting them just by playing them on local games (on their own Xbox, with a 2nd/3rd person over). IMO, if they are going to allow player matches to "count" now, that's crap. i think you miss understood me i was just saying that if your going to have a "ranked" annex game mode then why don't all of the achivements count right now only host revive clusterluck around the world and the game mode achivements work. well pre update not sure now. as far as i knew the kill achivements still only work in ranked matches.
as far as the wording of the achivements i think the map achivements are counting as player matches and ranked matches because they say multiplayer instead of ranked like the other achivements did.

While Hour of Victory has taken a beating from a lot of message boards. I kind of like it. It's not particularly a serious WWII shooter, but it has those elements with other features that make it pretty enjoyable. I also think the demo is probably worse than the finished product. I'm looking forward to it.

So far, it seems like some of the glitches are still in the game. The "superman jump" across the map and the crabwalk are still there. The Lancer is powered up and is being used by more people now. It downs people at least a second faster than it used to. Maybe we can get back to playing the way the game is supposed to be played.

I wouldnt buy one. Seems like every 360 in my neighborhood breaks once an intercooler is attached to it. When I look in the paper or on craigslist, I wont even bother calling, if I see they are offering a cooler with it

I finally got to see Condemned IN STOCK at the local Lackluster to rent. I picked it up last night, but I probably won't get a chance to play until late tonight, or tomorrow morning. I just couldn't leave it there, since it's never in stock (and since my Lackluster Online free rental expires soon for this month). Here's hoping that I enjoy it as much as I've anticipated playing it.

The only issue with that might be the time that the ip addresses are kept in the DHCP table in the router. Turning it off might not be enough to fix it, but that being said it is worth a try just in case it does work.

Yeah if you put the ip address of your router in a web browser it should bring up the router settings. If no on set it up for you the password should probably still be admin to get in the router. Also if you dont have any security over the wireless then someone else might be using your router from time to time which might cause a issue.

Your router address is 192.169.1.1... copy and paste that into the address bar of IE.

Login is admin... I believe the default password is either empty or admin

Yeah but you can pretty much change that address to anything you want if you know what you are doing.

If it is working now I would just leave it alone, although you should go to administration tab and change the router password something that isnt the default.

Encryption can be a tricky little thing though. I dont have mine set up with encryption because it just makes me lose my connection every so often. I do use mac address restrictions though.

I would start with the first one and work your way up. A friend got me onto the show so I started downloading them when they came on but never got around to watching them. Then I started it was alright for the first few episodes, then you start getting into and I couldnt stop watching the episodes I had collected. Then I caught up to the tv schedule only to have a 3 months without the showing being on.

I am pretty sure if you hit the big button what ever it is called on the controller to turn the system on and bring up that little side menu if you go to the personal settings option on there it is in there somewhere.

The single player of COD 2 is better, but the multiplayer for COD3 is far superior and the best game to play on live. COD3 is worth its price just for the online play alone.

I used this downtime to finally start playing Halo. All these years it's been out and I never even tried it. So far I'm digging it. I suck at the driving parts but the rest is cool.

Well I would practice the driving parts if you are playing Halo one. The last level of it is driving a Warthog through this entire area, in so many minutes. It is for sure a *****. As I was telling someone when we were playing the Halo 3 Beta, if you have beaten Halo 1 you pretty much have to know how to drive the Warthog. It just took a few minutes to get the hang of it again.

i miss playing annex but 4 rounds is long as hell maybe two rounds to 240 or 3 rounds to 180 wouldn't be to bad.

Just look in our sigs for our individual gamertags and send us an invite via XBOX LIVE. I'm SuperTim2000. The next time you go on LIVE, navigate to the xbox live blade and follow the breadcrumbs to add a friend, or whatever it says. That, or give us your gamertag and we'll send you friend invites to make it easier. Most of us will probably tell you we're from the board, so you won't be online with "strangers";) That way, when you sign on, you'll be able to see who's on and what they are playing. It's pretty sweet:D
