i beat the whole game pretty quick, and that's with going around searching for those icon things, i still love this game, i need to beat it on Harder or whatever it is. and try some coop too, after i download the extra pack thing they got up for sale.

Exactly... I'm gunning for 5 stars for every song on easy and to finish the medium mode. :D

I finished medium, it took me awhile, Hard i can't do because i have major difficulties with that dreaded orange button, what a pain in the ass that button is.

I got most of the songs on Easy done perfectly, there's a few i still need to get, but almost there :D Even on easy you can mess up, but i hate it when its at the end of the song, HATE.

I dont know if its the same on Psychotic, but i just ran my ass off in there and avoided as many of the guys as i could till i got to Wang, and after that point i just used one of the sub machine gun things (i forget the name) but i just continuously shot the MF till he died. i also used Firefly rockets on him just to be sure he was dead, i also threw him off the building just to double check. I need to buy that game someday.

That is what I try to do, but it only takes like 1 rocket and you are pretty much dead. I had no problem killing him on what ever the normal is called. I just ran passed everyone and jumped up and killed him. Well now I cant even get to him. I got to the very top like 3 times only to be killed by about 15 people up there.

i'm sure it'll increase your odd's at least by half just to get there. maybe one can make it so far, take out as many as he can, the other can go ahead and do the same, strategy my friend, strategy.

Yeah, I posted about this the other day. They were gonna charge me $54.99 for a used copy of R6V, DISC ONLY - kinda bull**** is that?

I kind of thought the same thing. I was disappointed in NHL 08 as well. It seemed that any pass or shot near their goal is blocked. Although I did like the Defense on the offensive side of the ice better than 07. In 07 if you passed it to the blueline it was half way down the ice before you d-man got it. At least now they are in the attack zone.

no big deal the good thing about waiting is it gets cheaper, usually, i've noticed most of the tom clancy games go down faster in price than most other games.

That's how I'm feeling right now. Hell, things just got interesting after getting past Hephaestus. I was already fearing my final free Blockbuster Online rental coupon (since the bastards are neutering their online plans :mad: ) would go towards re-renting this game. Alas, if that happened, I could get some play in on HARD, which is where I should've started in the first place, since you can't really "die" (A la Prey).

I'm almost the same way, I traded in Madden today but I still have Gears...I doubt I'll ever trade that game in. Even though I heard they were giving like $35 if you traded it in. Right now Warhawk has me too addicted to even bother picking up Madden....and theres too many different games coming out in the next few months to even care.

You can use a wireless router from Linksys, but you'd still have to have a cable from the router to the Xbox, in order for the actual 360 to be wireless, you have to buy that Wireless adapter Microsoft sells.

well i checked out that video that Matt suggested on the Cog Tags for Gears, i found all But 2, i think one of them is in the mine's, but i can't really tell where it is because the guy who shot the video only show's the area surrounding it for a brief second, not to mention it's hella dark and you can't really make out what it is. I believe i got all the one's on the train, I'm going to try again tonight.

So I finally got 1000 gamer points in a game. I got the complete dynasty achievement for NHL 07 to finish it off. Now I can start on the 1000 for NHL 08 next week. :D

Well i found the one where i couldn't make out where it was in the Video, it's the one right before you see the corpser come out the side of the wall, and just before you fight him. Now i have one left. God knows where that might be.

I didnt even know that until I believe either Matt or Billy told me after I had pretty much found them all already. Although I have found that some times it is harder to find the crimson gears sign than it is the cog tag.

Oh do explain just in case it happens to me. My network would be a Dell(I forget the model) as the main hub computer that has the modem and my linksys wireless g router. In my room would be the 360 of course and my laptop. I would also have my ethernet cable plugged into my media center edition laptop so I could stream music and movies from it. So if you have any suggestions please let me know.

My problem ending up being the encryption... if you have your wireless set to WPA2 or better, you'll have to crank it down to WPA. After that it worked just fine. :)

Jaylis, I can confirm that CoD4 both looks and plays amazing. It's a little different than RB6 (you can jump, you can lie flat on the ground in a prone position, you can sprint etc) and it plays faster. But I've got to admit, I'm having a TON of fun with it and it's just the beta version. I can only assume that the final version will be that much better.

There is no way I could pass up on Mass Effect. I need a good RPG to play. The 360 just doesnt have any really. Plus it is Bioware. I will probably get COD4 if I have the money at that time. If not I will probably get it just later down the road. I will probably for sure skip Rock Band. I have give Guitar Hero a chance twice. Too me it is fun for a while, but it gets extremely boring after a while. So I just cant see myself dropping 200 bucks for that.

I know in the first Act you have to kill the Berserker to finish it off so you might have but forgot to do that.

You're pretty spot on, actually, man. I think that KOTOR is as important to the original Xbox (& RPGs in general) as Halo was. Crazy enough, though, the sequels to both were huge steps back for both franchises (At least Bioware can say they had zero to do with KOTOR2 :D ). I love most all Bioware games (Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, Baldur's Gate), and to miss Mass Effect would be a huge mistake. That being said, I've got to have my Rock Band on the same day. I agree with you on paying for it, but thankfully I have enough friends here locally to play with, because I can see lag ruining the online experience, if it is even there a little bit.

So many choices of games coming up. Out of CoD4, Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect, I think that CoD4 is a must have on launch day. The multiplayer aspect of it is what will push me over the edge. Assassin's Creed is a must own for me, but probably a month or two later. I really want Mass Effect, but I might wait until the spring/summer when the game releases start to dry up. Mass Effect is going to be one of those games that'll need so much time considering KoToR ate up so much time.
But of course this is all dependent on me putting Halo 3 down so I can play those that were just mentioned.

they actually do make a margin of profit off software, but for hardware sales there is almost no money in that at all. To help offset that, they sell the used items and yes, make their money there.

But, as with anything, if people weren't buying at those prices, they would come down.

Speaking of that. I realize I'm way late to the whole Dead Rising thing but the save system on the game has got to be the most annoying I've ever seen. I played it for hours the other day before I died. I didn't realize that saving then restarted the whole game just with improved skills. :confused: As much as it annoys me I still keep playing it. There's just something satisfying about using that hot frying pan right on a zombies face. :D

Not really impressed with it, no big change from last year's effort. To me it actually seems a small step down visually from '07 too. All I want to see is the FIFA '08 demo - that's what I'm really looking forward to.

Looks awesome. Really awesome. Gameplay is slow paced. Still no turbo, again I know they are aiming for sim, but sometimes it's nice to have a little turbo.

Billy found this great new game. Its called Xbox 360 Dashboard. He told me that the gameplay is great and the graphics are top notch. I was kind of skeptical about it, but with his glowing review I think I might have to get it as well.

when you do....dont try "rewinding" time to save the guy that's killed once you drop down through the roof...it doesn't matter....it will keep happening even if you rewind time back....I must've tried a hundred times to save the guy...but you can't I guess.
