I'll never get it either. Not the fastest racer. I race with a bunch of hotlapers and tuners. They talk of getting top 100 times... while wating the 30+ seconds for me to finish and get back to the lobby.
I've probably spent more time painting than racing since it came out. lol

I have that achievement left and the collect all cars. I've got too many painted and tuned versions to clean them all out just to get one of each car. Plus with the DLC cars, the garages aren't big enough for it now.

Hopefully we'll get one more DLC of tracks. 2 tracks in 12 months is pretty lame of Turn 10. Rumor is they've put all their resources into FM3 to release near GT5. Then we'll get the FM1 tracks back in finally.

As long as it has Road Atlanta it is all good. Although I would love if they added the Circuit de la Sarthe. There was nothing better than in GT4 when they had the older versions of the Circuit de la Sarthe with no chicanes down the Mulsanne straight. Going in one of the late 80s/early 90s Group C cars down the Mulsanne straight at 250+.

That was one thing I loved about the game Test Drive: 24 Hours of Le Mans. The shift from Day to Night and the shift in the weather was great. Plus it really rewarded you for how you drove the car light into the gas and early off of it could really let you go another lap or two on fuel mileage. Which makes a huge difference over time. Although I never did finish a 24 hour race.

Grid demo is up.

Drives just like Dirt. Great in car view. Quite arcady, cars feel light, can be a lot of bumping around. But I think the full game will be fun.

If anyone is going to play the Grid demo, try turning off Stability Control. In this game it tells you that it reduces understeer. It oversteers huge and is really twitchy by default. This made it worlds better to handle.

Played online a while too. This game's going to be frickin' awesome. Really fun.

The drifting is damn tough though.

This is an easy game and it's one of the few games I have 1000/1000 gamerscore on but it's probably the most repetitive game of all time.

You basically have to play each level at least 4 times:

story mode (hopefully you get "True Jedi Status" the first time and don't have to repeat it)
free play for minikits
blue minikits
as part of "super story mode"

None of it is really challenging but it does grow tiresome.

I hope the Indy game isn't so repetitive.

They are researching it (5-10 days of course) because apparently my email address is corrupted on the MSN side of things so it isn't recognizing my log-in information. Basically everything is cool on my 360, I can play games, download, my friends will see that I'm logged in, etc. I just cannot get on Live because the MSN side of the coin is F-ed up. The worst part is that it may come down to having to create a new screen name and thus forfeiting my achievements. Thanks Bill Gates!

i wonder if you would be able to re-register the gamertag? using the same info for the account. now i'm not sure that you will lose your achivement points. my buddy didn't sign up for live right away and he was still able to register the gamertag without losing points.

Hey, not a 360 owner, but I've been contemplating buying either a PS3 or a 360, I already own a Wii. The only major pro for me towards a PS3 is the Blu-Ray player. It would be nice to watch high definition movies, but it's kinda sad that I'm coming to that reason first, not the games. There are more games that I want to play on the 360.

These RROD problems seem to happen to a lot of users, or maybe it's because I'm reading message boards where they are discussed. What happens inside the machine to cause this? Do you buy a memory unit to backup saves from the hard drive? I'm looking at buying an elite model.

I read that Microsoft repairs the 360 for three years if you experience the RROD. But for other problems, is it wise to buy the two year extended warranty from MS?

I apologize for all of these questions, but I want to be informed as possible. I am somewhat wary about buying the 360 right now.

1.Well, if you want better games, better multiplayer, get the 360. I would recommend the elite model since it has the biggest hard drive(120 GB).

2. The RRoD issues are caused by poor ventilation/overheating. Fortunately, the newer consoles use better heatsinks and cooler proccessors. Even if you get the RRoD, you have a three year transferable warranty by microsoft.

The quick and easy answer is "Because Microsoft said so"

The more involved answer is that is saps electricity from the 360 so the rest of the system is underpowered (or so MS claims).

Either way, if you log a call and let slip that you're using one, they won't fix the RRoD for free. :(

You could always buy yourself a small desk fan and have it blow air over the 360 if it's a concern. Or you could be a laptop cooling pad to pull the hot air out of the 360.

I have used one on my laptop for years now, never really had a problem other than the fact that I have gone through about 3 of them, due to wear on the ac plug on the cooler, but you wouldnt have an issue with that if it was sitting still instead of moving around with a laptop. Also they only last so long.

I've been having trouble with Madden lately for some reason. Once I got to my 7th season in Franchise mode I couldn't finish a game without it freezing up. no no like i told billy (XSsoCX) they never ment for you to play 7 years worth of madden in the franchise mode and after the 6th season time stops. he has the same exact issue and don't trade it in for another copy cuz that will do it to he tried it 3 times i think

Yeah but it can be a huge ***** at times. Especially the part where you escape the farm and have to get into the bunker to stop the missiles. For the other parts just let your squad mates do most of the work.

I haven't read anything into it but it depends on how much you play the game whether they're worth it. I usually hope on once a day or so so to me it was worth it to add. It would be even more worth it if I were still in school and could go multiplayer on Killhouse which doesn't rotate into the hardcore game types I play.

To me it's a no brainer to just go get Madden 09 when it comes out - read the preview on IGN - after years without, there are finally broadcasters in the game - Collinsworth and the other guy from the NFL Network (Name slips my mind). With everything they're doing to make the game much more involved, I think it's worth it but I'm a sports buff and football is my favorite. If you're looking for something sooner I purchased NCAA Fball last year and it was a good amount of fun - the new one comes out in July, a month earlier than Madden.

Grid is amazing. Love all the racing types and the sponsorships and team aspects. LIVE is ok but I have only been drifting so far and am already a senior pro. some annoying players but when you get a room of good people its a blast.

you start off with any car they give you for the race as a team member, but when you gain enough money and become a leader for your own team, you start with the mustang.

Racing a Mustang is like racing a horse and carriage, they both handle about the same.

Yeah, I had to bump it down to basic for a while. I'm about 8 seasons in, the races get pretty tough. Especially the one on one rival garage challenges when you're done with one whole block of events. The game is really fun though. Seasons are pretty short, 4 races, then the 24hr LMS race.

You get good money in the beginning pretty quickly from the LMS race at the end of each season, but it's very competitive in each class. Without pit strategy in play, the are constantly right on you for the extent of the race. Not much room for error at all.

You get much more rep and money for racing your own team cars, but do keep an eye out on driver offers from other teams, once in a while you get one that has a 2.X mil payout for beating one of their rivals or finishing first in class.

Yea the mustang is a good starter car and the 3 races in the beginning you can do with it make you enough money to get a new car for something else. The only part that sucks is it takes so long to get out of the first 3 blocks. Im around my 6 season and havent done it yet (mostly did some drivers offers for the beginning.)

I picked it up because they didn't have anymore Bourne games for rent. Getting the drift events down a bit. I sucked big time, but spent about an hour last night fooling around with them.
Got a 4mil combo 13x multiplier. Highest drift score is about 6.8 mil. Not too shabby. Don't know if I could do that again yet. Finally figured out to drift close to the flags to get the highest bonuses. Yeah, I'm slow.

Yea the Audi is a beast but havent bought it yet. Got all the J and 2 Euro liscences. Highest drift combo I got was 394 mil with a x99 multiplier and thats as high as the multi goes. Just do around 7 laps on Okutama, its a real easy track to drift around the whole race.

You suck. The new Hulk game is awesome. All you do is run around and destroy things. I threw one of those police Mech suits into a building so hard that it crumbled the wall behind him. But it looked like he was getting up so I picked up an 18 wheeler carrying gasoline and I chucked it at him and it exploded on him and made the building come crashing down on his head. If thats not awesome well then I don't know what is.


Sure...it's awesome that first time. Then when you realize...that is everything...and I mean everything...that the game has to offer.........well, it's a big letdown. This one wasn't even half as good as the last free roaming Hulk game....and it has about 1/4 of the moves available. So yes......it does indeed suck big gamma ray balls.

The Iron Man game is god awful, one of the biggest turds ever created the only reason I'd ever even consider looking at is it because if you have a saved game file from Iron Man you unlock the Hulkbuster skin for the new Hulk game. With that being said Iron Man is utter crap don't play it, don't even think about playing it.

To me the Iron Man game was like a 3/10 and the Hulk game was a 7.8/10. I wouldn't spend $60 on the Hulk game, but I'd definately play it for at least a weekend just to do some smashing before it got old.

Actually.....compared to Iron Man or Hulk....it's easily the best of the three. You could use each of the four characters....and raise their abilities and powers.

Hulk....you get like 3 combos. And as the game progresses...you unlock.......more damage to those SAME THREE COMBOS.

But the funniest part of the hulk game is this......once you do enough damage to the city...where they send in troops...............they will NEVER stop coming. No matter how many you kill. The only way for you to end the non stop attack........yep...you guessed it......the Incredible Hulk must board a Subway train to "lose" the army off his trail. What the **** :mad::rolleyes::mad:

Fantastic Four RSS is one of the worst games I've ever played. Iron Man is worse, but not by much. The Hulk game on the other hand is 20 times better than the Fantastic Four game. Easily 20 times better.

Don't get me wrong catching the subway isn't the greatest of ideas but you're really kinda limited when you're a 12 foot tall green man who just did 5 billion dollars worth of damage in the middle of new york city. Ain't too many ways you're going to get away clean with that.

Keith he's lying. He was telling me how TMNT was one of his favorite games of all time. I believe he said it took him 5 weeks to beat it though, not 5 hrs. Infact, he was asking me if I knew anything about a sequel. ;):p

i rented the game and finished the autobots side of the game but got bored with the decepticon side and never went back i did enjoy it but no replay value at all

Rented Grid last nite. Pretty hard game to get used to after playing GTA IV. Driving is rough in this game. But, I won the first trophy event I tried with my Boss Mustang. Then I tried that Demo Derby, and that was HARD!
