Agreed. I don't care how many people tout the newest racing game as the best thing since sliced bread, I'm not wasting my time (since you know, I hate racing games and all). Fallout 3 is all RPG. If you don't dig that genre, you're better off with PoP.

The singleplayer is okay, but it's not why people buy this game. If you don't play online, you'd be better off renting it.

You also need to beat the singleplayer mode to unlock the Nazi zombie mode.

Aside from co-oping campaigns or Horde with friends I don't play multiplayer at all and I still think the game is worth $35. I didn't time myself but I doubt the campaign was only 3 hours. Seemed like at least twice that to me. Solo campaign, co-op campaign, and zombie mode alone make it worth playing IMO.

It's the game, Giles. SR2 is notorious for freezing, sadly. It is my only huge gripe with it, which is a HUGE one. My buddy & I would often co-op, get about 80% through an activity (such as almost getting to $1,000,000 in Insurance Fraud), only to have it freeze just shy of the goal. It's not your system, man, no worries.

If you're struggling on solo, imagine having your goal doubled due to co-op. Insurance fraud is a nightmare in SR2, since they nerfed the windshield cannon from a cop car/ambulance. In the first SR, you could abuse that all day and beat Insurance Fraud easily. :(

it just depends on what level of hard your playing on and if your goign for certain achievments.

I played on easy last nite, and trying not to get barfed on, also not getting incapped and my buddy was trying to not heal it took us 45 minutes to go through no mercy.

But, you can run it pretty fast on easy if you want to. We've done the whole thing in under 30.

So I am working my wait through Saints Row 2. Great game. I have the quite a few of the activities done and the ones I dont are at least half down. I also have 2 of the 3 gangs out of the way. Some of activities like insurance fraud but I actually found that one quite easy once I got the hang of it. One thing I was disappointed about was the vehicles that you get for beating the races. The only decent one I thought was the car.

I look at it the same way. Since I only play multiplayer with friends it gives games like Gears more re-playability by running thru the campaigns again to get any achievements I missed the first go round.

Avatar is a joke. You can get 1000 point in about 3 minutes. I actually attempted do go beyond that unlike most people but couldnt stand it after about level 2.

Easy games that I got a full 1000 gamerscore on:
NBA 2k6 - can get all in 1 game
Fight Night Round 2 - win like 40 fights
King Kong - just play the game and get the full 1000
Lost Via Domus - basically play the game and find the 2 or 3 hidden areas.

Lots of Arcade games are easy 200 achievement point games. The free Doritos game is the easiest.

actually, thats why I choose Death Toll, the boathouse is probably your best bet to survive. There are molatavs all over, a chain gun, and plenty of room to back pedal when the Tank comes at you

you can actually get the tip 4 passes by simulating the game. you gotta mess with the sliders for the AI but it can be done

i'm assuming the code you get from your xbox that you enter on netflix. just get a different code from the xbox or keep trying the code i had to enter mine a few times to get it to work.

basically yeah you divide into teams and kill each other there are objective matches and cops and robbers and racing it's ok IMO but nothing i would drool to play over

you plug it in whenever you want then jump into the multiplayer section of the games.

You have to call MS and tell them not to auto bill your live account. It won't remove the card from your account, but they won't charge you for a renewal. At least that's what I did.

Plus, you get a few extra bonuses once you rescue all the little sisters that make it worth harvesting them. Basically, you'll be missing out on some things because of less ADAM early on, but you'll make up for it later.

Componet cables allow the system to output in HD, not just HDMI. The component cables you said you just bought will make it HD just fine.

damn that sucks...sorry to hear... mine have been nothing but great so far... their is a slight buzz noise i will hear if i'm not directly inline with the wireless receiver...it's not noticable if im playing a game or watching a movie and most of the time i am in line with the receiver

also there is zero echo that i've heard from my friends when i talk... you can hear yourself in the headset which i dont even notice now.

So I plug my new component cable into the tv and xbox and I get four flashing red lights. unhook it and use the old rca cables that would show the picture but only in black/white or gray I guess but the lights were gone and it fired up. Not sure why this cable wont work any suggestions.

Sounds like the cable wasn't fully connected. I got the lights when I didn't have my cables plugged in all the way.

The HD switch should be on the piece that plugs into the system.

Ok I dont see a switch on the plugs themselves either. It has more plugs than needed or I do not know where to put them so maybe that will help. Sorry I am not good with electronics lol. It has the red,blue and green for the back of my tv to go into the component output spot and it also has another red and white plug not sure where they might go. The component cable is made so you can hook it up to a wii,ps3, and a 360 just not at the same time. They are nexxtech if anyone else has these kind and it helps.

As for the HD switch I've never heard of or seen one of those cables so I can't comment on that.

did you get the pro or arcade version of the 360? if you got the pro you already have the component cables and you need to plug all of them into your tv. and the switch on the plug in that goes into your xbox needs to be switched from tv to hdtv. can you take a picture of the cable you have?

The color codes on the back of my tv were red blue and green so i figured that must be the problem and bought a set of component cables that matched that color configuration. How do you change the settings in your xbox and are your colors on the back of your tv red,white and yellow. Well the to hook up the component cables you should have 5 hooked in. The red, blue, green, then the white and red for sound. With the RCA it is just the 3 that are shown. Yellow is video and the other two are for sound.

Ok I got it figured out. There was a small wire plugged into the jack that goes into the xbox by unplugging that it allowed the picture to be seen now I am gonna play some games. Thanks to everyone for bearing with my small electronical mental capacity.

yeah what mike said you have to have all of them plugged in. to change your settings you go into your system settings in the dashboard

Well, football season is over for me and I need a new game to play before baseball season starts. I'm done with Fall Out 3 and the New Call Of Duty. I was thinking about Dead Space. How is that game? Is it that scary? Are there any other games worth picking up? I'm also getting ready to get my Xbox Live back up and running too.

As much as I love RE, i'm still not used to the x-box controller, only having the system since mid december. I played the RE5 demo and got my arse kicked cos i'm just not used to it yet. Once I get used to things, RE5 will be far more fun.

i'm looking forward to Batman quite a bit, but my most anticipated game of the year is easily Ghostbusters. Seeing screenshots for this game pretty much sealed my need for a 360 after seeing how the game stacked up against the wii version (I have a wii too).

but yeah, definitely most looking forward to the Ghostbusters game. It's been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time in the making.

yeah i have like 6 left of one and 10 of the other. i liked crackdown but just can't get over that cheesy ending with the evil laugh from the narrator. even before it happened i knew it was gonna happen.

on a sad note my 360 won't read disks anymore and my warrenty ran out in dec of 07 100 bucks to fix it and extend my warrenty by 1 year so the elite is looking reall nice about now. i guess i could be mad about it but now i have a real excuse to get one

Resident Evil 5 the only thing i don't like is the co-op partner and if i read it right the health of each character is tied together. is there supposed to be online co-op?

Dead space I played for about an hour today got a major headache not a fan of the close up shooter perspective(prolly why I liked fallout you could toggle between views) was cool game controls are a bit weird when he moves he kinda glides and seems a bit slow but I am gonna get into it some more cause those things come outta nowhere and get your heart good kinda cool. Thats why I liked condemned it was eerie, dark and heart thumping.

Dead Space is a great game. Boss battles are a little underwhelming but the atmosphere is spot on.

RE5 is a must but FN4 has been a long time coming for me. I loved FN3 and still play it to this day. Like J3-M8 said, I'm hoping that Bioshock 2 sees an 09 release. I need to go back to Rapture.
